Just found your channel, and it is awesome. If I didn't see your face, I would think it's Kurt Russell when he was driving truck in " Big Trouble in Little China" drivin' the 'ol Pork Chop Express. LOVE IT!!
dident get the time to watch this before now but i do like the longer videos ..... thanks for another good video they are much appreciated .... back to work hehehehe best regards from scandinavia (Scania T580)
What a driver! You're standing up off the seat and I'm on the edge of my seat. Your boss should give you a raise, even if it's because you take care of his equipment alone.
It's a super rewarding and satisfying feeling to conquer those super meticulous spots and angles. You know the average motorist would make it a disaster if they were trying to do it.
NICE JOB MR WES-loved the line "in ny they'd have a 9 mm"🤣🤣--ur fighting narrow roads,no directions and usually some race car has to pass you on a double solid line on a curve to get by you to make a left hand turn a minute down the road !!! well at least u dont have big brother on dash board telling you are out of time? nice job once again mr. truckdriva !!!
Awesome, Taking a field trip out side of NY. Pretty good change of pace. Give you self about good 1hr and 15mins head start. Because you don't know what will happen on the road, way in to the city or around it or random Beer truck spill all the good load of beer on the highway. Be prepared for anything. You know better then me since you been in this game for years. More open roads like that you see some good homes out their. Listen to that engine purr as you pull the load. Thanks for the tip, make the 4 wheelier drive pissed they can't get the middle finger or dirt looks air mailed to the driver because they can't see it. ( let them wait, you trying to make a delievery to a location that you never been to before. So, take your do your thing. As well it does not hurt to call them and ask, Hey, where is your damn trucking drive way!!))
Normally I would call but this one didn’t have a number. Guess I could have looked up the company but figured I’d just roll in. Long as it all worked out LoL
Another great video. Can't wait for part 2. I've been there before. I was working up near star lake. Doing a bridge job. I asked if I could turn around down the road. The said ya the trucks been doing it. Drove almost 4 miles and it was a dead end road. I had to back all the way out. Come to find out it was just dump trucks turning around in the parking area for the fishing hole. Wasn't mad just a good story to tell.
Yessir it happens. I always love when people say “trucks do it all the time” and then you find out they meant dump trucks 🤣 but it’s all part of the game.
What's up Wes, love the video. Very nice scenery and nice to see you hauling something different on a different trailer. Must be nice to go to work away from home for a few days just you, the truck and the open road. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming can't wait to see the next one. Catch you later.
Thanks for the ride along brother! Very cool video. I thought it was pretty slick how you put your chains in those little boxes. That was a good idea 👍🏻
Think you might of called them??? Well your remember next time. We're all with you Wes,go for it,Were all behind you,What did somebody say statee a coming.
No prob, thanks for watching. Yes it’s all part of the game driver. As a retired driver yourself I’ll bet you’ve seen some pretty crazy situations over the years.
Yeah, those old drivers, didn't have GPS, power steering, nor a/c. I like your conversation as if we are sitting in the passenger's seat. Keep em coming.
I like your videos. I live in Norway, and all we’ve got is small and narrow roads, at least on the west coast were i live. Anyways , really like your vids. Thanks.
@@Wgrippin o yea for sure :) never been out that direction, never been to your new York state either lol. Cedar hill/idle wild boyz ( including yours bud ) have some nice rides:) would love to meet ya or see more of those sweet rigs in person some day :). @@sublime929 if take the heat over our winter anyway. Plus Florida has something that most of the rest of the country wants. Freedom. Turn the AC on brother and enjoy your freedom 😉
Man when you went to pull in there the first time I saw that and went if he pulls it off with that spread axle and that pole he's the man! I'm guessing no dump vale on that trailer?...also do your kids want to be a driver like yourself
No dump valves LoL. It does have the turn around and drive on their lawn valve 🤣 My kids don’t really say much. My youngest wants to be a chef and the oldest has mentioned trucking but I don’t push it. It has to be in his heart or he’ll hate his life. I hope they do whatever makes them happy.
I’ve been hauling big ass boulders to HWY 1 just outside of Monterey using an end dump. But it’s a demo end dump all steel. I’m guessing your trailers aren’t great for that? Great vids man
My worst time was in Boston. Following the directions that the salesman gave us with a cement tank heading down a 5-ton weight limit City Street. Salesman gave us directions for car not a truck
You're not complaining. Just talking to yourself through a semi stressful situation. I've had many drops where I've had to tell the customer to come get their product on the street. Will never be sorry. Can't fit a Cadillac in a dog house.
Good video again you sure can drive a truck good my friend look like you almost got over heated The heat ain’t no joke it is hot we’re I am to in jonesboro Arkansas have you ever heard of that town I been here for 51 years and thanks on tik tok four always given me I like follow me on there to at Glenn Hunter 2 be safe on the road my friend keep the hammered down on that KW
Big dummy 🤪 You violated rule #1 of following the GPS...... Always Always Always call the customer to confirm or get directions and write down the name of the person you talked to . I've made the same mistake and thankfully a very understanding cop told me and a very overweight dump trailer to follow him to the customer. Thank God he didn't stick around to see me pull on the scale.
Well if you see bean and corn fields your good to go. Those grain trucks gotta run those roads too.

You passed my residence on MD Route 439. Be careful on those back roads, drivers don't always expect an 18 wheeler approaching.
Yea they get tight down your way. 😳
