You are perfect. I was always very thin. When I married I asked my husband what he had first thought of me. He said , too tall and too thin - I was 19 - but you will put on lots of weight by the time you are 30. I didn’t 😢 but we were married for 58 years and he loved me. I have never told that to anyone I was so ashamed. I think you are beautiful. I am 80 now. Don’t ever let anyone judge you by your weight.
Speaking as a medical professional it is one of the more difficult things I have to speak to my patients about. Instead of just saying "your fat" I prefer to talk around the subject and allow the patient to recognize the issue and feel comfortable talking about it to someone who is non-judgmental. I care about your feelings, but being overweight can be devastating to your health (and I'm no skinny mini). It's important that people know this, so they can face the reality of it and take positive steps to improve your health for yourself and your loved ones. You may never be a cover-girl model, but you can eat healthy, exercise, monitor your sugars and cholesterol and maybe lose a few lbs. along the way. Mary don't let others decide how you feel about yourself, empower yourself with knowledge, take baby steps, don't beat yourself up if you slip up along the way and most of all know that person looking back at you in the mirror is beautiful in so many ways.
