If you dont want to wait for you slide to be cut, Brownells has a nice, simple rmr cut slide with front serrations. I have it on my g19 with Trijicon suppressor height sights, and a 507c. For the sights, I went with black outlined tritium rears, and white outlined tritium in the front.
Stock glock sights do suck, but only because of the stupid dot on the front sight that give the shitty ball-in-bucket sight picture. Try putting 2+ coats of bright nail polish on the front sight, turning it into a contrast color blade to use with the white rear sights in what is basically a traditional (but more visible) sight picture. Yowza Yellow has served me very well. Seriously, it's a very nice and very cheap and actually very durable upgrade to make to stock glock sights. Anyone who has ever bitched about "muh shitty glawk sights" should give it a try. Good video btw dude, solid.
I hear you. I know the California restrictions all too well. California laws are bogus. But the Sierra Nevada mountains are gorgeous. The giant red woods. Shasta Lake. The beaches of Laguna, Redondo, Hermosa etc. California is a great place, aside from all the liberals! Lol. Be careful, gun laws are sweeping across the nation and if people aren’t careful, they could vote in the wrong leaders.
@@GatCat as you know the prices rn are inflated but my budget is no more than $1000. Here where im at your typical lower end 1911 usually cost 700 with the inflated prices rn so seems like im going to have to settle with one of the lower end ones
@@chaitern6075 the prices have risen for ammo, but not guns. You just need to look in the right places. Availability has shifted with guns, and yes some people have begun to price gouge. However, manufacturer MRSP and distributor costs have not changed. You can find guns at similar prices to pre-COVID.
Great video. I love my Glock 19 Gen 3. My EDC.
Thanks bro. I’m about to buy my first gun for home defense and your vid helped a lot.
Fantastic! Lmk if you have any questions at all.
What a great video. Thanks for sharing.
amazing..
Training is better than no training
Great info
Thanks Dave!

Slide is already cut, Holosun 507c green dot installed. Shoots great.

I have installed a Holosun 507c GR X2. So now I’ve got to get some suppressor height sights. Thanks for the suggestion tho! Appreciate you.
@@GatCat Try it sometime for real. Don't forget the non-acetone polish remover for cleanup/touch-up etc.
@@ManDuderGuy I’ve done it before. It’s a great upgrade for little money, that’s for sure.
All that training and 1K rounds can go out the window,,,, so put $1K into your glocks instead!! Jk jk great video brewsky!
😂
great video! have you shot newer glock generations? do you feel the differences with the dual recoil springs ?
I have shot newer generations and I personally cannot tell a difference with the springs.
@@GatCat thank you for your feedback!
Try some talon grips.
I’ve had them on my P2000sk and Shield 9. I don’t need them for the Glock.
For me, that’s the main difference between a gen 3 and 4. A lot less slippery
@@Bravo2c Interesting. I might check that out. Thanks for the tip.
Glocks come with dovetail protectors not sights.
Lol
Reasons I'm glad I don't live in Cali. Missouri we get the 15 rnd high cap. And Glock sights I believe are known to suck and need to be replaced.

No magazine disconnect safety on the glock?
On either of those pistols actually.. lol
No. Magazine disconnect was implemented after the approval of these two firearms.
Cool vid, glock 19 is my 2nd glock. Now im saving up for a 1911 45
Check out my other videos :) I’ve got 3 on 1911’s. What is your budget?

You align the tops of the sights, not dots.
I’ve figured out the sights fine. They still suck. I’m going a different route.
@@GatCat Leaving the plastic dovetail protectors on your Glock is akin to leaving the photos that came in your picture frames.
