I also like when he said that he hope Alice's baby is a boy because he missed hearing a boy around the house, obviously talking about Rick and reflecting on how he wish he was a better dad for Rick.
I didn't like that they killed Dan off. Also, Nancy's death pissed me off too in Dream Warriors but that one I don't mind as much because it was actually kind of ballsy to kill her off and lets the movie end on a somber and bittersweet note.
Yeah but it was just Dan in this one, he wasn’t a great character to begin with. Nancy? Yes, that annoyed me. It doesn’t annoy me in this franchise as much tho. When they do it in final destination or Texas chainsaw, it does more.

I just realized super Freddy's design was based on Fawcett Comics Captain Marvel. Maybe homage to his victims immaturity as well as his sudden confidence.
In case you don't know who Captain Marvel is it's about a young boy who has super powers that are activated by him shouting Shazam turning him into a full grown man physically.
Super Freddy might suck, but the story behind how the scene was filmed as told by the stunt guy on the Never Sleep Again DVD is actually pretty cool. I also found out on there that the same guy was the body double for Dan in the opening love scene with the Alice character. My favorite part is when he mentions being asked how would you like to do a love scene and he responds "As Super Freddy?" not knowing exactly what New Line had in mind yet until they were ready to film the scene lol.
Bacon Hair it's bad because it's poorly written. It's bad because the dark gothic atmosphere was ruined by Freddy's terrible one liners. It was piss poor all around.
Freddy doing his Slenderman impression is pretty much a throwback to the first "Nightmare" where Nancy first encounters Freddy and he stalks/tortures her by stretching his arms out to impressive lengths to scrape the sheet metal fences on either side of him.
I think there could have been a good horror movie here, using pregnancy or an unborn child as a means of causing nightmares. The execution was just awful here though. They should have approached this like Rosemary's Baby, but with Freddy. I have similar feelings about A Nightmare on Elm Street 2. Freddy being a representation of the fear of sexuality and coming out of the closet could have been amazing, but the execution was lacking.
Nate Alexander there could've been if Freddy's constant one liners didn't constantly clash/ruin the dark gothic atmosphere. As you mentioned it, this movie had some really adult things it could've used successfully.

@@fieldy409 Ah yes, politics. The plague you cant escape because there is always that ONE guy...
I was just wondering that
Thank u James for the all the Kill Counts trully a blessing to watch in these quarantine times
This is actually my most favorite Nightmare on Elm Street film. IMO Freddy's absurd way of being and sense of humor with a complete disregard for who he's killing is pretty terrifying. I mean you're literally going to die and the guy killing you is joking and having a good time? I'd be scared.
Can't wait to see your ranking video for this series. I really want to know where Dream Child and Freddy's Dead will end up for the bad movies lol. At least after Freddy's Dead there's New Nightmare to look forward to so that's a glimmer of hope for you. Can't wait till next week for the craziness thatvis Freddy's Dead! Keep up the good work!
Alex Z Freddy's Dead would go dead last, that one makes no damn sense
Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child, aka one of the few horror movies where the black friend lives...
And of course people hate it because the black person lives
@@jaredcoleworld3650 SUPER FREDDY BABY!
@@jaredcoleworld3650 No, it’s my least favorite because of annoying white guy Mark and little Jacob Kruger! “I wanna learn stuff from you!” That line is pure cringe! 😂
@@jaredcoleworld3650 no people hate it cuz it sucks. By that logic people should hate Nightmare 3, but they don’t, it’s a fan favorite actually. Some people including myself like it more then the first. Stop making everything about race
Yes that’s the only reason
"That kid that annoyed Grant in Jurassic Park" HAHAHAHA 😂😂😂😂😂
LoL yep! And he was on Full House too. “Duck boy” lol
Everytime you post a video I smile like an idiot. Thank you James, your videos bring joy to people.
RIP Dan
He fell down a lot of rectums in his time
Roses are red
I'm in a band
Dan is cool
"lets blow this pop stand"
Underrated poetry
Dusnt rime
The only kill count rhyme I respect
Im subscribing because of this
The running joke of the jump rope girl group is the funniest thing to me
I love how genuinely defeated James sounds at the very end.
Who cares about Freddy? We need the house!
DEAD
in real life
It's like we keep coming back at friday the 13th for the sex. Who care about Jason.
Lil Sharkey TRUE!
Who else came here cause of all the "BLOW this pop stand!" references in his recent vids?

I just love how James says “The Phantom Prowler” it’s hilarious
Wow a KillCount? ON MY BIRTHDAY?! BEST GIFT EVER THANKS, JAMES! Great work as always

Aww Super Freddy suuuuuucks.
Nightmare 5 always had one of my favorite Killls. I mean C'mon... Freddy rides a Skateboard... DEFINITELY a huge inspiration on me growing up. I'm still Skating and watching Horror Movies... haha ThAnks Freddy 💯💯💯👍👍👍👏👏
He protecc
He atacc
But most importantly
This movie was horrible so he want his money bacc
This was a childhood classic for me. I saw it when I was 12 on AMC horror channel on Fridays. I saw it along with 2 other movies very underage as a right into passage. It's my favorite of the sequels for precisely that reason. Sure, it's hokey, I can admit it, but I like it anyway. Doubly so after I saw the uncut deaths. Greta's was very cool, sickening, and sad.
*”Take on me”*
Freddy: K bet
"Mitosis on Elm Street" Genius
That Phantom Prowler scene was cool. Best death in this movie. Am I the only guy that's gonna give a shout out to that awesome Kool Moe Dee song played during the end credits.
*_That looks like fun stuff let me try_*
Oh my dear lord! Freddy Krueger is on a Skateboard! 10:21
