I made this yesterday, I used mushrooms instead of potatoes. OMG, it tasted AMAZING. I also made green seasoning using your recipe guidelines. For my herbs, I used 1bunch cilantro, 1/2 bunch parsley, white ends of scallions 2 bunches, a handful of mint leaves, handful of sorrel leaves. My friend Ria, thank you so so much for sharing these videos.
I made this today. It was frigging delicious. I had some tweaks tho. I used jalapeno peppers that were left over from making a mexican dish, I added all purpose seasoning along with the salt and I also used thyme leaves instead of fine thyme. My first time cooking curry and as a Trini woman this is a must know lol. Thanks to you, I have a manual on how to cook curry so it comes out well every time
Yet again, another brilliant cooking demo! Ria, you're a fantastic teacher and your calm, knowledgeable delivery, is on point! I would buy anything you're selling, 💯%. 😁👍🏽
I love this recipe. All your recipes are simple but the results are amazing. Usually I would also add a few curry leaves in the oil with the mathee to fry. Looks delicious.
Your videos are literally the best. I was hoping you would post this EXACT video soon and you did. Thank you for showing how to make authentic dishes with such great explanations.
I made this today it tasted so good, wish I could have made roti but I didn't have the time, had it with rice and a bit of strawberry preserve on the side to act as Chutney. Thanks for the video 🤗

This is something I been looking for. Thank u. My best friend in high school was Indian and her mother used to make something like this and put it over rice. It was yummy! And spicy 😊. I've missed it. Been long time since I found something close to it and this is it I believe. Hers was a little more different in coloring but close enough. Thank u again. Going to try this weekend. ❤️

Nageswara Rao Vellanki Bala I never recommend buying green seasoning -most contain chemicals and preservatives and nothing like freshly made ! You can use chopped scallion or cilantro.
@@CookingWithRia : Thank you. I will use a combination of Scallion and Cilantro. I absolutely love your recipes, and so far I made Stew chicken and curry chicken.
Absolutely amazing recipe Ria❤️ this channa and aloo tastes like real ‘prayers food!’ Thank you so much for sharing it, eternally grateful 🙏

Hi! Ria what type of olive oil do you use?
Theresa Collins Hi Theresa. Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.
Hi Ria, does the Stiring at the end make the stew thicker or are you just evaporating the liquid a little bit?
Also are you using particular type of curry powder? Thanks
Elsa&lisa Hi sorry I missed your questions. I was never notified. Stirring does both. I use Cariherb from Trinidad. Any Trini brand will work. 🌷
Nice

Did u use roasted gheera? It looks light, not dark brown like the ones u buy at store
What did u put on the side of the plate? Roti?
