- Which is better? The Rolls-Royce RB211 or the Pratt & Whitney PW2000? Comment below! I also added some jetBlue A320 takeoffs at the end so you can also compare the 757 takeoffs to the A320 (which actually isn't fair because the 757 would win anyway :P) Since I didn't put the route information of the planes in the video, I have included it below.
-------------------------
1. American B757-200 "N187AN" to Miami
2. Delta B757-200 "N699DL" to Atlanta
3. Delta B757-200 "N6708D" to New York/JFK
4. American B757-200 "N198AA" to Miami
5. American B757-200 "N602AN" from Miami
6. American B757-200 "N189AN" to New York/JFK
7. Delta B757-200 "N658DL" to Atlanta
8. American B757-200 "N602AN" to Miami
9. jetBlue A320 "N648JB" to San Juan
10. jetBlue A320 "N663JB" to San Juan

Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoyed! Be sure to give this video a like and also subscribe so you don't miss out on any new videos! Sadly, there has been a slight delay with what I'm doing for 2.5k subscribers as I have some finalizing to do with some things. I should be uploading it later this week once I'm done.

Love me some 757 regardless of what engines are use. In my opinion they are one of the best performing aircrafts ever built. They are versatile on any type of runway. Whether the runway is short or long.
Can you like not cut the footage halfway through a takeoff? Even if the aircraft isn't visible, this video's about sound, not appearance, right?
RB211 all day every day!
These comparisons are cut way too short, especially on take off, altogether just a complete mish mash of noise and no way to make a judgement. Shame really as the footage is awesome.
Awesome spotting! RB-211 for the win! Liked a lot
RB211 absolutely
Marvelous compilation of 757's, nicely done! :)
Great footage, enjoyed it
Great video! Tough call, but I have to go with the PW2000! Liked!
Nice but you cut them off too early!
A fun and different way to make a takeoff compilation. I find myself leaning to the PW2000 side.
757 in American old livery 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice vid
Nice
I don't see a whole world of difference. As long as they work well, I fly on either one.
PW2000 for me! I also think the V2500 was sounding a bit better than the RB211 in this video.
Rb211 all day
SUN COUNTRY does seasonal flights to stt they fly ther in November -July
The PW has a growl at takeoff, whereas the RR has a distinctive whine mixed with a howl! I simply love the RR RB engine.
recorded on emerald beach?
Yes, from the Emerald Beach Resort.
AS Aviation that’s where i stayed when i went to st thomas, it’s really beautiful especially with the airport right next to it
pw2000
A lot of 757
The 757s was the primary aircraft that flew to st thomas
Awesome
I do prefer the rb211!!
I live in the Caribbean and i didn't know that st.thomas had so many flights to America.lol
Yeah St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John are all American territories which is why American and Delta have the most flights out of there. United and jetBlue have around 2-3 daily flights.
Spirit flies to STT once daily but Sun Country only does seasonal service, they haven't been at STT at all yet because when I was there all week I didn't see any. The check in counter for Sun Country is closed and I'm not sure when they come to STT.
St. John has no airport; you fly into King Airport, then take a ferry.
PW2000 man that roar is great
