- A quick demo of B2, the successor to B1 DIY Eurorack Kick and Bass module. B2 adds new trigger circuitry which allows artifact-less kick attacks down to super-fast 25us, a sinewave, sub oscillator, more wave form selections, and a multimode 2-pole VCF with selectable lowpass, bandpass, or high-pass.

Nice bass reminds me of acid tb303 squelchy and 808 kick drums.
Building mine now and I gotta say this is the highest quality build I've had I'm so excited for your future modules. The PCB, supporting documentation, sonic quality all tip top. Nice work!

This sounds so good! This is the kick drum module I've been waiting for, and that sweet bass line makes me wonder if I need two of them... Hoping it arrives at Thonk soon. :)
Thanks!! Yes, Thonk restock for the DIY will definitely happen soon. they sold quicker than expected! I also plan to have some panel sets in my webstore too. Or if you want prebuilt SMT version I have been keeping them in stock on the webstore!
@@westonprecisionaudio I'd rather DIY, but I'd be happy to build the SMT version if you'd sell that as a board and panel set! It's more fun than through hole anyway :)

Please make a fully assembled version to purchase. I don't mind paying more, I'm just not a DIY music producer. Great video and fabulous sounding module!

I know you have a lot of req for future modules, but it would be cool to have something that sits with this and the ad 110, maybe more of a percussion oriented drum module based on the b2s interface etc

Thanks! I would say B2 is good for Techno for sure! Maybe AD110 as well if you like old school drum sounds. You can also make your own voices the traditional way with VCOs, VCFs, VCAs, etc.. just note I don't currently have some of those features as modules. I do have a couple of great VCOs though and you can see the demos on here (search PA0 and TZ0). Depending on if you are looking for DIY or pre-built it will vary what modules I have available. B2, AD110, and TZ0 are available through DIY. Those 3 plus PA0 are available pre-built. :)

Awesome! Thonk should have panel/pcb/knob sets here in 2 weeks or so. I am also looking at doing pre-populated SMT/panel/knob sets but this will be a little longer out. Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for your interest! I'm working on getting my usual panel/pcb sets in outlets now. Soonest will likely be Thonk in the UK and Exploding Shed in the EU. I'm also looking at pre-built units but DIY will come first.
