Hi chum, first again! Glad your well and getting out and about. Your forays I hope are an inspiration for many budding naturalists, packed with great info and lovely camera work. Thanks for sharing and please stay safe. See ya later.
Thanks, Nigel. Glad to hear from you! The world is full of wonders. I hope the videos will help people from different parts of the world discover what our area has to see. And if this will prompt other people to share Nature videos about their homelands, that would be marvelous. Cheers!
@@BearSF well said, I totally agree and a lovely sentiment, you might even consider a career in this field? I hope so you are great at it. Catch you later chum. 👍
Hi! I’m in California and my birthday is coming up! I love going to the beach! I’ve collected shells all my life in California and on trips on the east coast, what beach would you recommend for really cool shells/fossils?
Hi, It's hard to recommend particular beach because it changes depending on weather or visitation. Same beach could look differently. You should also consider rules because many beaches belong to state and protected. Mavericks beach in El Granada where the collecting may be allowed but check the regulations yourself. Nearby Ross Cove Beach (the other side of the hill) is also nice but I'm not sure about status. In Northern California, I would recommend to visit Fort Ross. In general, everything north of Golden Gate would be more rich in marine life just because of less pressure from humans.
Another thought, sandy beaches in California usually have less shells. You need to look for a beach with rocky shores to have more living things in the ocean nearby.
great video enjoyed watching😅😊
Thank you!!!
