I do rescues in my mountain town and lately I'm falling into deep sadness with what I come across. Near death, freezing, owners of 8 yrs old cats dieing with the cat left behind who has never been with another animal or human. Sadness is killing my days lately. God bless you.

I'm thankful that Horse Plus is there to help the small animals as well as equines. It's astounding that in this day and age in 2022 we STILL have people who don't think spaying & neutering pets is needed. I hope you can help get through to enough people to prevent neglect, abuse and abandonment, and I really hope the mayor can get his animal control officer and shelter up and running. I'm sure there are many there who would like to take better care of their pets but can't afford it, so your one day shelter clinic was a wonderful gift to the county. Thank you Horse Plus! 💙

I'm thankful to have an emergency vet fund. Even though I'm disabled & on a fixed income. Still not sure how I budgeted that. But I did!

We used to have such a huge dog/cat over population issue around here too. We set up free spay/neuter clinics a couple times a year averaging 75 dogs a day. It really made a huge difference. Now the local shelters actually go to other states to bring unwanted animals to our area for adoption because we don't have many. I wish they could set up spay/neuter clinics there for free as well. Oh and, Farriers do not get paid nearly enough. LOL
That dramatic little one being dramatic over the hooftrim made my day :')

It is cool that Dr. Lydia is mentoring. The more people that can help with assessment and monitoring of the animals, the better. The surrender event was a great success. Now we need to get a real kennel built for dog and cat housing. Maybe the county can buy an adjacent parcel of land for a small animal facility?

I just watched this episode with my little rescue cat Zizu😺who kept "attacking" moving things on my computer screen. So long as she's having fun...Keep up the good work!
You should show her bird tv. It's basically a bird feeder for cats to watch. First time I showed mine she looked behind the tablet for the birds then settled down to watch for over an hour. It's nice to listen to too. As well as watch yourself.
Uh might want to use a screen protector though. There's also apps that allow a cat to pounce on a moving mouse or bug. But I've never shown them to my cat since I don't think the screen saver would last very long.
Then again I've been putting off replacing the screen saver because I'm lazy. It's got a small crack. So maybe I'll download one before I change it. Although I may never get my tablet back after that.

for growth plates
to grow
OR ELSE
MORE LIKELY
to have complications
with arthritis and hip dysplasia
when they get older.
Cats , nurtured too young
will have health complications too .

Your residents at the shelter have a second chance, and the animals who have received the last act of kindness are now at peace, and no longer suffering, all of which is thanks to your hard work, generosity and dedication. I’m not religious personally, but you are literally doing God’s work. You are all such beautiful people and if I lived closer I would have loved to join your team.

We are so thankful for HPHS. That means EVERYONE who works/volunteers with you? I personally am so thankful and grateful for horse plus. I am very ill and have been fighting Crohns disease for 40 years plus. I have gone through just about every complication that is related to this horrible disease. I am now basically just a shell of the person I was in my youth. But thank God I discovered Horse Plus. You have kept me going through my darkest of days. I live in the UK and watch from across the pond. But being able to watch the improvement of the most downtrodden horses rescued at auction to watching them learn to love and be loved again and adopted into loving families fills my heart with love and thankfulness for you all at Horse Plus. Being able to say "Thank you" is such a privilege. I hope you all continue to be healthy and happy, to have lives full of love and laughter and you have everything you ever wanted. You all deserve it. Blessings to you all and a very Happy Thanksgiving. Xxxx

When I first discovered H+HS on UA-cam, I watched a current episode, then looked for the first one, and BINGE WATCHED the whole HERD of them......now I am anxiously awaiting the Tuesday Training with Cory, and the Thursday weekly episodes. It is a pleasant addiction much better than any TV series. The cast is outstanding, the mission worthy, and the outcome always uplifting or inspiring. Animals for the most part seem willing to take a chance on people not harming them if they are treated with informed kindness......kindness is in good supply with the H+HS staff, and watching the episodes is uplifting to the supporters as well. God bless you all, staff and folks who watch.

That's fantastic that you did this event and what a great Mayor to have a goal to take care of all animals, build a shelter, supporting what you do. A great partnership. For some time you've talked about there being no animal shelter and now you have someone who wants to change that.
I hope the mayor realizes there's a huge amount of volunteers to draw from to make things happen and he should fundraise online to help build and staff the new shelter.
