Right at the beginning - the random lady in shorts who was taking pictures was hadcuffed -
having said that, I waited the whole video to hear what happened to her and the case with her precious son, but it was never called!

Not taking photos in the court is also sometimes to protect the accused from unwarranted interference remember innocent till proven guilty, so it could be: dont be paying other jail people to be beating up someone you dislike

I have seen at least 3 Gucci purses. My mom loved Gucci bags and she loved giving them to her 3 daughters as gifts, even more. RIP, Mom. I keep thinking that if she watched Judge Boyd with me, she and I would be admiring her out loud, together. My mom kept me out of courtrooms so many times, despite almost landing there because of my drug and alcohol addiction. She never turned her back on me. A month ago I celebrated 9 years sobriety. And I'm so glad mom got to see me get and stay sober for 8 years before she died. So full of beauty and grace.

I just left court as potential Juror. We were instructed not to bring phones or anything tha 27:21 t beeps. Admission was denied to general public who violated this rule.

Why is he so hell bent on getting a new vehicle when he is not allowed to drive. He will try to use the language barrier as a defense if he screws up.
I don’t think it’s that he can’t drive, just that any vehicle he has needs to have an interlock to prove the person driving hasn’t been drinking.

3 SAPD officers were charged with the *unaliving* of a 46 year old woman. They were indicted by a grand jury and their trial is currently scheduled for September 2024. The defendant in the grey suit is Alfred Flores.

Judge Boyd has the ability to scare someone straight. The people that enter her courtroom should be advised to watch these videos and take them to heart.
Can you imagine standing in that courtroom and hearing Judge Boyd just call you out like that and have you come to the bench. I’d be petrified. I wouldn’t be dumb enough to use my phone in court but just hearing Judge Boyd yell out like that gave me anxiety

It's a case of 3 SAPD officers killing a 46 year old woman. Grand jury indicted them. Look up State of Texas vs Alfred Flores 2023. That's the defendant in this video.

It always AMAZES me that so many young adults were obviously not raised to know how to be respectful in a courtroom!! At our courthouse in Greensboro N.C we cannot bring in any electronics. They do have these little lock box rentals outside you have to put a quarter in to use it. Im just curious to find someone in the comments whose courthouse does this.I havent found anyone yet😂😂😂
Edited to add: I just checked and was shocked they started this in 2014, I cannot believe they havent raised that quarter price in 10 years😂😂

This is the third case in a row I've seen involving a non US citizen. I'm flabbergasted by the light sentencing of these criminals who are lucky to be here but don't show appreciation for it. Why should this man be allowed to stay here after driving drunk when he could have killed someone? She didn't even say that he had to stay away from alcohol, and he'll be able to get his license back after a year?? What would happen in any other country??
Should be immediate deportation but he’d be back within a week. I have to show my birth certificate & proof of residency to get my drivers license, how do they get one?

He had clearly been in the country a long time, and has his chidren and wife in US - but anyone who is potentially at risk of deportation should make very sure to keep their nose clean! In UK, I don't think just UI is enough to get deported, those are usually only where major violence has been involved

The case where the defense lawyer asks for 3 weeks time to get ready and is denied and the prosecuting lawyer asks for 25 witnesses for 3 suspects is also questionable. We, as defendants, should be allowed to appeal these decisions and ask for another judge bc some of these judges, especially female ones, are extremely bias in l gender. This rule should be for ALL cases and types of courts.
