- All footage is from the 1976 movie "The Song Remains The Same" .
I do not own any part of the footage used.
My attempt to recreate the lost Heartbreaker sequences, using my poor editing skills and some clips from other parts of the movie.
I always thought Plant should do shampoo commercials.
And the name of the shampoo should be called Baby!
Yeah...babeeee🎶🎶
Rubbish
His hair is gorgeous 😍
😂😂😂
2:44 Jimmy is trying to get internet connection back to his guitar
Everything CORE LMFAOO
He doesn't use it anyway.
Good one
tHEY ARE CAUGHT IN A ZzZEPPLIN TimE machine DISTORTION .
ffs 😭😂
The more I listen to Led Zeppelin, the more I realise the genius of these four guys.
Today’s kids are discovering that music from the 70’s is the way to go. Led Zeppelin, the greatest ensemble of pure talent the universe has ever known!!!!!!!
Exactly!
Today’s kids listen to Trippie Red lol
matty Gabiru I love rock n roll, trippin red isn’t bad. You’re probably just old :/
The rock musicians of the '60's and '70's were pioneers of an evolving musical genre and were musicians first and foremost.
Agreed
Saw them at the Boston Tea Party when they were known as " Jimmy's new band."
@Lewis C You lucky bastard!!!
I mean this in the most endearing way possible...
Damn you to hades and may the gnats of a thousand camels fly up your nose.
Jealousy is ugly!
YOU ARE SO LUCKY !
If you were at the tea party your livin man L .i .v. in
😲😲😲
The Heartbreaker opening riff is the best that has EVER been written!
As soon as Jimmy Page starts playing guitar, he becomes the sexiest man who has ever lived.
Even when he's being hilarious starting at 4:15 - watch his legs!!!
Jimmy Page is probably still sexy sitting on the can.
Until plant starts singing
I wouldn't say sexiest but coolest yes
one of the most memorable riffs in Rock 'n' Roll !!!
Jimmy Page = one of the greatest creative geniuses ever on the guitar.
Absolutely!
The wizard of riffs...NO one has ever done them better than Pagey!
John Bonham rules the band...
By faaaaar.
@@sudanmartin5581 I think led zeppelin's greatness is about the collective work of everyone involved. They had Plant who is by far one of the greatest lyricists/frontmen/singers of all time, jimmy page who's one of the greatest guitarists of all time with some of the most amazing solos and riffs rock has ever seen, JPJ and his insane abilities on the keyboard AND bass, and of course you had john bonham who is still to this day considered the greatest drummer of all time. Just my opinion that their greatness wasnt because of one person, more of all their greatness/skills combined
Thanasis Papadimitriou You dubbed the Nebworth England 🏴 Song over the MSG Video. I caught you 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Jimmy Page 80 today Happy Birthday. You Legend.
the intro drums were awesome
What about 5:06-5:24
Yep another kick-ass intro from Bonzo; superb!!
John Bonham
Bonzo's a monster on drums!! x
@@djfedezaza He plays like he's in a Roman Coliseum or on a battleship.
sexiest and greatest band of all time
Band with the best-looking frontmen in history.
The confidence....such a confident bunch of musicians. It's mind-blowing
Yes, the confidence is incredible 💯💯💯
hello carla
Pride from Lucifer to whom they purportedly sold their souls. I wonder...
The devil made me an offer too: everything I desired..
To this day I wonder why I declined. Would have been EZ. Maybe.
I never got where I wanted to go on my own, but I found God. Still I ask myself often: is that it?
@@cynthiagonzalez658 supposedly they sold their souls for their talent.. we know they got it but what did satan get? Guitar lessons
@@dogsquadindia
Lucifer is supposedly musically inclined as well ..
So happy I had my entire life to listen to Led Zeppelin.
Me too !!
Ok almost anyone can say that, it’s completely relative
Never was and never will be better band than Led Zeppelin. GODS!!!
Arguably the best live version of this song.
The greatest rock band of all time.
Si y Deep Purple también
hell yeah!!!!
The thing about Zep was that all the members of the band were the BEST at what they did. To this day Page is considered one of the best guitar players of all time, the same with Robert Plant, John Bonham and John Paul Jones. There are a lot of good musicians, the great ones know what sounds cool and Led Zeppelin knew what sounded cool, that's why they are the best band of all time.
During my drumming days in the early 90's the one major thing I learned from Bonham was to play spontaneously. I always wrote my drum rhythm for the song, played it conservatively for the studio, but while playing live on stage I experimented while staying within my original rhythm. I'm very proud of what I did back then. Headlining the Whiskey was an honor. Thanks Bonzo!
Nice!
Wasnt Bonham still dead in 90s ?
@@MBJanus He means learning from the records
@@MBJanus No. In pretty sure he came back in early '91 for a few months.
Well put.
I have been listening to Led Zeppelin for 45 years and I am still amazed when I listen today!
Jimmy! Jimmy! Jimmy! Not only is Page up there as one of the best guitarists of all time perhaps the best, Jimmy was a showman with a unique sense of stagecraft and the talent to back it up!
He was definitely a showman. He may seem quiet and shy offstage but onstage, I think he was as much of a showman as Plant, especially during these years.
@@missdee4927 lady Miss Dee, they were both showmen!🙂 Keep in mind that Jimmy Page form Led Zeppelin in order for the rhythm section in the singer to be the platform for showcasing Jimmy's talent on the guitar. But of course we know it became much more than Jimmy himself even ever imagined.
@@samr.england613 I know this! lol. I've seen him say this when talking about the first Zeppelin album in particular. I'm speaking more on his quiet, gentle demeanor in interviews and such juxtaposed with his strong, swaggering presence onstage. BTW I like that you referred to me as Lady. lol.
Jimmy is freaking Hilarious starting at 4:15!! Watch those legs!
@@shelleymartin1451 I think he was being, "groovy" baby! 😉
MAGNIFIC
Lucky enough to have seen this concert up close and personal. Still gives me chills and love, especially for Jimmy! 💕💕💕💕
The more i listen to LZ the more i become addict and it lasts for decades
Always come back and jam out to the Best group of amazing musicians!
There's just nothing like Zep. You have the great strong voice and perfect look for the times in Plant. You have the loose, most kick ass guitarist of the time with a combo of mystery and pure cool just dripping off him. You have the most powerful hardest hitting drummer, and one hell of an all around musician in John Paul, and all backed by a 6'6 HUGE, mafia style manager that will savagely beat any promoter that dare try to cross his boy's, AND, it's the 1970's. GENIUS!
cowboysfan782008 don’t forget all that hair
@@Geo-wc7jc I believe that about covers it 👍
Geo - I miss guys having ‘all that hair’! I just hate all the crew cuts.. 🥴
a magical combination
Peter Grant didn't play around and he wanted the band to get paid.
Hey kids, this is what rock n roll looks like😎
I hear ya, I was 14 yrs old back in 1969, Zeppelin-2 was my 1st album I ever bought. Send in back to the late 60s, I will stay forever.✌from 🇺🇸
This is hard rock not rock n roll
You seem confused. @@chesterma6321
This band was so tight musically...and so tight....to be unbelievably ..untouchable...... .
Oh my God, Jimmy is incredible. There is no word can describe his talent, what a blessing
actually that was pretty bad,
@@gary15761 I’m sure you can do better
Love the way he breaks into a bluegrass solo there
it’s not that good live
it kinda wasnt good he reminds me of a 16 year old playing
Jimmy page is the best. The best. Guitarist. Of all time.
I think David Gilmour and Mark Knopfler very narrowly take the top spot, but you are obviously entitled to your own opinion. (unfortunately I think Jimmy's career and life got messed up and ruined and he couldn't play every perfect note live anymore)
@@guymadgesam24 do you even know who Eddie Van Halen or Slash is?
@@willivers4249 yes, but they are a bit too fast and heavy for my liking. The two I picked is just my opinion. Believe it or not I only really listen to British music, apart from a little Hendrix and SRV
ARE YOU ALL HIGH. slash is great, Eddie was incredible, jimmy was stunning, knopfler is a genius, Gilmour is a melody master. But JIMI FRICKIN HENDRIX. OK GOT IT GOOD
I don't know if he's "technically" the best, but I prefer watching the two Jimmys: Hendrix as well as Page during these years in the video over the shredders.
This is the definition of swagger
That’s the U.K. for you ..such a small country….
It's funny that the way page plays this solo inspired so many great guitarists to come after him!
Right? Amazing how many can recite the Zep II recording, but this sort of looseness is what Page was really painting with. IMPROV; that's Jazz and that's Rock n Roll...a common vocabulary combined in possibly a new way...
@@stevenjones6780 good point. Zep were masters of improv live and jazz music was so big on that. That's another cool thing about them. I don't think they ever performed Dazed and Confused the same way live. lol. And that's the song they played live the most.
Angus Young comes to mind.
Not even Freddie Mercury can out reveal Plant's Uber-revealing anatomically moulded leggings
What a Voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The middle section with the single finger tapping inspired Eddie Van Halen to do 2 finger tapping.
That’s not called single fingered tapping it’s just pull offs
@@connorandrus1904 You are absolutely right.
Jimmy influenced Eddie massively....
Jimmy smoked too
That swing and swagger in the drum part during the first few seconds is out of this world man.... Hail Bonzo!!!
That godly voice 🙌🏻
My favourite solo... Happy birthday Jimmy 🎉🎉🎉
The drum into is blissful perfection
Led Zeppelin is so fucking good! 🔥🤘
Can't believe no complete footage of this jawdropping performance seems to exist!
Led zeppelin for ever.
What a lovely time to exist! Wish I could go back to a time when I was not even born yet 😁
JPJ held everything toguether, a hero
Just look at how passionate Jimmy and Bobby are and then look at JPJ and how stiff he is. He is always stiff in that way only. Makes you wonder just why that is.....
Rose Kitty, Gray Kitty, and Jack Kitty Entwistle did the same for The Who mate

still the best ever - Led Zeppelin :)
Jimmy is a guitar god!
This is a group of the best of the best, this is Rock at its best. Every man in this group is professionals. Love it!
Amazing.
Masters of their craft.. My Favorite Classic Rock band . 4 musicians at the top of their game couldn't be touched!
Take me back to the seventies
Each of the four band members have been contenders for the Best of their instrument. Best Drummer, Best Guitar, Best Vocals and Best Bassist. How could they not combined be the Best Band?
And I thought the studio version was great! But this, this is just AMAZING.
4:13 the restraint to not just go nuts and rock the guitar, as he can anytime, is one of the many reasons he's one of the best guitarists of all time. His all out riffs are of course fecking amazing, but in blues and blues rock subtle phrasing is key to depth and what draws us in further than just a great attack riff.
The Power Chords on that bass are insane!!! JPJ is a genius
Compare the creativity and skill level of this group against today's most popular musicians backed by a billion dollar industry and only managing to make shitty unoriginal songs.
I agree, Rock n' rolllllllll bro!
lesCraftPotes Rock and Roll! :-)
Not only unoriginal but derivative - a bad copy.
Don’t make me cry like this
led zeppelin isn't exactly original lol
I was only 10 in 1973. still love this song...best band ever
❤❤❤❤
I was only 6. Love this so; one of my favorites.
There is Only One Jimmy .. ! and Only One Zeppelin .. I was Blessed to see them Live .. My Ears Rang for Two Days .. but I had a Smile a Mile Long ! This Incredible Music Product ... was what all was to be Judged From !
Never seen a band that so realized and used their unique talents so effectively.
Jimmy Page. One of the all-time best. The experience this man has is amazing and it shows. At this point his confidence and talent are obvious. Always enjoy it when he decides to put on a stage show besides playing like the master he is.
Every now and then a perfect group come along, Zeppelin and then the Brotherhood of Man.
I love the jeans! We were SO LUCKY!
Que obra maestra de led Zeppelin saludos desde 🇪🇨
4 master musician's came together you'll never see this again ..Rock on forever Zepplin fans ...
Lightning in a bottle.
what great showmen they were.
this performance is so breathtaking
Love the opening shots of the Manhattan skyline, with the newly built Twin Towers standing proud, against that orange sky.
A wicked beyond words HEARTBREAKER. We haven't heard a guitar sound like that since...
Amazing band.....amazing band.
The Magnificent Four 💙💙💙💙
Bonhams drums filed an assault charge. He beat them nonetheless.
Just thankful they never got a restraining order...
the drums owed him money...
He used to get into a lot of fights. If he beat people up like he beats those drums, ouch.
A band like this you’ll find only only in a million years ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾💜♥️🎸💎😇
Page , Plant JPJ , John Bonham - They have NO Replacement
Bro from Greece, I'm totally ja.ming this all day everyday. The mighty Zeppelin. Are you mighty?
Jimmy Page is just killing it on this song, I wish I could play half as good as he does I would still be a great Guitarist
One of the coolest guitar solos ever.
It inspired Joe satriani to become a guitarist !
I love the yard birds, but look what you turned out to be. Jimmy you are the epitome of the rockstsr. Never stop rockin. A whole lotta love for led zep
The riff that page
just played! It's amazing I listened to led zeppelin and pink floyd, etc now I am rediscovering them in a bigger way.
Oh, my God. John Bonham's intro is so hot, I just can't help rewinding it, again and again 🥰
Me too
Every show was different. Each on of these guy's were ridiculously great. Put them together and the result was nothing short of magical. Every show was an unplanned masterpiece. They all knew where to go next. I'm not putting down bands like Rush, but the same exact show every night. Basically the sane drum solo for 40 years...but. that is normal. Zep was anything but. While everyone else were playing 3 blind mice, Zep were playing Mozart
This sounds beyond...
#INCREDIBLE!
😳
Love the intro drumming!!!
🦉
Mark Smith. 'BONZO'!!!
I already came at the onset of the intro, man how groovy was that? I can't think of a better live band than Led Zeppelin, well at least during their first years, so much energy, so much power, pure sex for the ears people!

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY .....
EAR-GAZMIC !!
Classic Led Zeppelin and still sounds new in 2019 and will sound great for ever, absolutely timeless! Well done Jimmy, you make this track so very special!
Not really, its old and it sounds old, thats because it is old and we that grew up with them are old, but its still good.
The hair of Plant it's beautiful!
I saw zeppelin several times, 71 72,75, 77, 80, the best band ever, when they were on, forget about it!
We had some of the best lead guitar 🎸 players in the world in our day. I started listening to them in 1971 and I'm going to be 68 this September. In our day we had the very best music in the whole world.
yes and only our ears to experience it
awesome guitar sound!!
It's Madison Square 1973. In the film "The Song Remains the Same" they don't show the complete tune. Hence the reason why there is other footage interspersed with this clip.
It's been 10 years or maybe more since I first laid eyes on you.
The best years of my life roll by, here I am alone and blue.
Yes.
Great performance! However, what you are watching and what you are hearing are two different things.
What a great guitar sound though! His picking could break glass!
So add a sink this should needn't be played like this you know if you can't put it in sync then show a black screen and just let everyone listen
That song, and guitar solo, right there inspired countless guitarists. Including EVH, Steve Vai, and hundreds more. As well as myself!
Love Page's outfits.
Same,his dragon suits
Les Paul sounds like heaven on this one. Par excelllance....
