- It'd been a long five weeks working on this engine but it's been a fun five weeks wrenching away. Lots of delays, hiccups and frustrations but in the end i got it all done. Check out the video and tell me what you think.

Congrats dude - you went all out with the turbo upgrades! I'm like 2 hours into my drop only cause of work and will be plugging away at it slowly. One thing I could use some clarity on is the coils. I was reading that there are new coils available but one doesn't fit properly and needs some modification. Did you come across that?
Take you time brother, the more time you take the more you really learn about these motors. As for the upgrades i wasn't really left with much choices besides going all the way lol. Also the coils issue I'm not aware of because I didn't have any issues. I purchased oem exactly what was in there, same with the spark plugs and anything that wasn't an upgrade. I knew I couldn't go wrong doing it that way. Good luck with the drop and if you have any questions along the way please reach out.
Those two sharkbite type of fittings going into the ps reservoir are a nightmare. I made a tool to hold the red circlip thing in but can’t get anything to budge
@@baboonfury it was a complete nightmare so I completely did away with it, tapped the reservoir and screwed in a 18NPT barb fitting which I think will do the truck so no more of those stupid fitting. The funny thing is porsche don't sell the red clips separately but instead the entire reservoir for $1000. I said no way!!!
That thing was no joke. Took two of us to get the thing out with the tool. @@alhuegayle7550

Link now posted in the description. It's a coolant fill tool and currently on sale at ECS turning which is where I purchased mine from.
I am about to start this job. I only need to lower the engine enough to change out the do88 turbo inlet pipes which I got busted with at smog check in CAL and replace with those skinny little stock pieces. Would you want to sell those off? I do need a pair...
