This is almost the only character in the game that catches my attention. Well designed with a few flawes
Played Gouken, Oni and Evil Ryu in USF4 and Urien, Necro and Remy in 3rd Strike.
Not even mentioning her terrifying mixup potential with ex thunder clap, like seriously, thats one of her strengths.

The move linear abilities end in two different portuguese words depending if it's the fowards of backwards version
Forward is "avante" that translates as "forwards" and backward is "esquiva" that translates as "dodge"

EDIT: Question: how is "minimal combos" a bad thing when her damage output is pretty decent? Also, wouldn't minimal combos be a good thing for people who are terrible at memorizing combos (like myself)?
because she has minimal combos its harder to build up the stun gauge, and harder to break guard.

Yes, but compared to a rushdown like Ken. Or hell Ryu where they have longer combos. They're building up stun faster.
You might be using the wrong combos then. She can stun in 2 combos easy, or even just 1 reset. V trigger makes the stun go up even more.
+ensanesane Laura doesn't even have comboes. The only thing that combos i -->S.HP into S.lk or S.lp into light bolt charge. her 2 target comboes and lights. She like the few characters in the game that can't link mediums into other mediums or heavies. She combos better on counter hit but that's not really consistent. Her stun comes from her grabs and reads, which R.Mika does better. Granted Mika needs more corner but her stun game is better with a lot more damage.

Geez, even the official guide saying that she doesn't have many options. Was telling that at FR19 nobody used her.
It’s a damn shame she has such a hard time against zoners, I really thought I was going to enjoy playing her, but I just get to eat fireballs and futilely attempt command grabs against people who just have to punch me to stop the animation.
Oh well, back to playing more fucking Ryu until this game starts to make sense I guess.
I know that was 10 months ago but you do realise her EX qcf+punch goes through projectiles, right?
And you're not using command grabs correctly if you're just being punched out of them. Although I'm sure you've improved in 10 months, but I'll still leave this here for others

I am struggling with the inputs for V reversal when I am pressured in the corner. I blocked and then pressed St lp 3 times like the tutorial but no reversal. Help plz

So I'm learning about characters I'm bad against. Finding out that a con of the character I have trouble with is that "She's tough to V-trigger," makes me frown. Laura is a monster to deal with. Glad to know it requires some work to be efficient with her though. It soothes the burn.
Shinobi Theninja She falls victim to zoners quite often. Even Birdie can keep her out at times

I was hoping to pick up some tips. I guess I've been playing her exactly right. You guys have to give her some range on her low mp & hp and more hit stun or recovery on her v-skill. Tired of getting punished for landing a hit lol smh.

Happy Independence of Brazil! If Laura uses Matsuda Jiu-Jitsu, why doesn't Sean do that instead of copying Ken? Even Ken trains his son instead of him learning from another master.
