And The Grand Tour with them isn’t as good as TG was but Chris Harris, Paddy McGuinnes and Freddy Flintoff are a solid lineup for the current TG. Shit happens and things change then we all get over it.
They were never THAT good in the first place though. Fitment has the right people in charge and I think they will get better in the future tbh

Alex was the glue that kept everything together. A true leader. I'm sure FI will survive but def not the same without these 3 amazing content creators.
We will definitely miss them! We wish them nothing but the best!

I hate to speculate, but Alex, Gels, and Dakota all leaving at the same time is kind of a weird coincidence. I doubt there's any bad blood between them and the company, but I suspect there is SOMETHING on the business side of things that drove them away. Those three did HUGE things for Fitment in the form of being social media personalities. I know they had other roles too, but they are really what made Fitment on the social media side of things.
These new guys (all three of them) will probably get better over time, but they are missing the charisma and experience in talking to the camera that Alex, Gels, and Dakota all had. I feel like that's going to hurt the channel in the long run, since there will be a gap in the time where any real charismatic and entertaining frontward facing people are giving the content.
I am looking forward to the changes moving forward, but I really don't think things will ever be the same with the previous three on the channel.
Plus I'm sad that the Fitment location in Appleton is likely going away, it was a really nice location for the car shows and meetups!
Alex left to chase his dreams over 6 months ago. Gels and Dakota just left us a couple weeks ago. We can't thank Alex, Gels, and Dakota enough for everything that they have done to make Fitment Industries what it is today. Our new personalities will come in with their own unique styles and will definitely warm up to the camera with time!
As far as moving locations, we're only going to Wrightstown 🤷♂️ It's only an extra 15 minute drive. No one said we'd stop having shows and car meets!
they left because fitment sucks. i ordered wheels from them, waited 6 months for them and had to call them myself to find out the wheels that were listed on their site as in stock aren't even being made anymore. you know... the ones i bought 6 months ago. so i changed the wheel i wanted and had to wait another 3 months for them to ship my order. fuck fitment i will never EVER use them again. not to mention their customer support accused me of trying to get free stuff (even though not once did i ever ask to be compensated for ANYTHING. i just wanted my wheels i originally ordered)
I've seen (and been in) this before, where multiple crucial team members leave a very successful company during a period of massive popularity and rapid growth, with no or vague explanations. There's a term for this that rhymes with "possible reliability".
Dakota and Gels were forced to censor their actual opinions on wheels so Fitment could sell more of them. They felt that they had no more integrity in front of the camera and left. There's nothing wrong with buttering up "opinions" on wheels. This is a business. There's also nothing wrong with wanting to be more honest. The two just couldn't justify putting money before honesty.

Glad to hear that everyone’s still talking and hanging out. Hopefully one day I’ll be the new personality on the channel. I’m starting my journey on the 12th and should be out of school soon

Despite Gels, Alex, and Dakota Gone. I’m glad to see that you guys are taking a right step In the direction for a good future and not letting this (at least to me) legendary brand die off. I’ve always loved the content ever since I stumbled upon this channel over 4 years ago and the growth is really something spectacular. But I will always support the decisions you guys make over there and I’m looking forward to more content as well as many others 🙏

Yeah you don’t lose 3 of your top guys and all is good and well something happened I wish everyone the best but something happened for sure and it’s not what it’s painted out to be. That’s entirely too many people to leave within a months time…company’s start great then lose focus on what they were before and things get unraveled. Again I wish the best to all

Just like Steve had mentioned, it’s a marketing issue where they promoted all these products which drew high demand but due to supply chain issues, it hurt the business especially after hiring more than they should.

I wanna see some installs and fitment issue fixes. Like I got some wheels from fitment industries but the center caps didn’t fit because the dust caps stuck out. So I had to get other other wheel caps and they don’t look as good😢

I love the more car shows and more behind the scenes stuff lots. I dont mind new people but i hope it doesnt start to come across like yall are trying to just copy the old hosts. I think authenticity goes a long way in the car community and going to shows, showing behind the scenes and you guys talking about your cars really shows you get that.
We could never replace and copy them. We wouldn't of grown to where we are without them. We're excited for this next chapter and the content we're going to put out for you guys!

It would be cool if you guys did a video about how the pandemic impacted the supply chain for you guys. I heard that post pandemic there were some major changes to tire imports. I specifically heard about some lower cost tires not being exported to the us and I was wondering if this is still a current issue.

Started watching this channel years ago. Sad to see the main three leave, but to be honest the content was getting a little tired IMO. Theres only so many times you can make a video about "coilovers vs air" or "top 5 mistakes" or "best wheels of 'blank'" (which always had a plug for anovia anyway) or anything about BC Coilovers.
Moving forward I'd love to see more builds and more in depth information on DIY wrenching. Excited to see what direction Fitment is going towards, hope its good!

Might as well rename the whole brand, I would assume most of us had no idea who any of these people are except the first guy. Give Gels, Dakota and Alex the Fitment Industries name and start over from scratch…fitment is gone
