Watched this movie back in the day in Nigeria, so its probably not as "little-known" as you think. I loved it, I remembered and quoted word-for-word every line in the clip.
The Thief of Baghdad was a good one too.

Yes, I loved this movie! Bought it last year on VHS from E-bay. It was great to see it again, but not really well known that is true considering some of the cast!

"I grant you one last favor: a quick and merciful death."
And he then proceeds to try to kill them in a long, drawn-out, terrifying barrage of badly aimed lightning bolts.

Nice showing, can you upload the parts where the evil King makes Khassim get rid of Mahjeed ... "Khassim, the boy!" Also the part where Mahjeed tries to sell the jewel to the merchant. Thanks.

Jaysus wept, I've been looking for this film since about 2007! It was on here in Australia around Christmas of that year, I knew it was Arabian-ish themed, although for years I was looking through Hercules type films, I knew it was of that "ilk; I stupidly didn't jot down the name or remember it and I was putting all sorts in Google search bars and getting nowhere because all I could remember was the laser-firing genie!! Relief!! I can rest easy now, my work is finally done haha!!

You know how to find movies? Are there sites where you can them find with the plot only?

@@danielschoch4881 no mate, I just used what little I could remember to deduce it was some kind of arabian themed adventure and eventually through much to-ing and fro-ing I stumbled across this....it was pure luck more than anything, but it took bloody long enough. Although I only started looking a few years ago and it wasn't every day...it's a relief to just know what it was - even if it's something 'iffy'! I mean, this is hardly cream of the crop, sometimes I feel like I've made films up rather than seen them because so often searches lead to just dead ends.
Are you looking for something in particular?! It's possible there's sites out there that cater for this sort of thing, I haven't checked myself...

@@colingram8785 Ok it it is a crime thriller movie. From maybe before 2002 or so. A man and a boy are on an excursion. the boy leaves for a moment and the man is pushed from a cliff by another man who was hiding nearby. has something to do with the wife of the victim / maybe jealousy. A woman who is disabled watched the murder. The murder visits the widow and offers her innocently some wine afterwards and steals some photographs for a reason.

The word 'Genie' is derived from the Arab word 'Ginn' [pronounced 'Jinn']. This word means 'Demon'.
