I love this movie. It made my childhood sweet ❤
I have fond memories of this film. Back in the early 80s, the place where my Dad worked would rent out the local movie theater on a Saturday morning before Christmas, provide popcorn and soda/snacks, show this movie for free, and then afterwords we (employee kids) could all go out into the lobby and pick a wrapped present from under the Christmas Tree.
Years later I finally tracked down the title and got a DVD copy for myself. All in all, the cast had some famous people in it, and the effects aren't that bad to view today. True, it is 1979 effects compared to today's standards, but it works.
That's interesting. I saw this on HBO in the early 80s. It's still my favorite action film.
I saw a poster for this film. On the poster it's just a bunch of comic strips but it had scenes from the movies and all I could think was there's no way they did flying carpets back in the late seventies
And I guess they did. It reminded me of Sam Raimi .... That part where they fly through the window and go through the house on the magic carpet.... That actually looked really fantastic.
Definitely going to have to watch this sometime
The little boy was my hero in the movie. Mostly when he wanted to pick up the 🌹 and said "... i come with a clean heart "
One couldn't separate him from his monkey "Jetty" and Jetty was so intelligent and instrumental to him.
Memories kept in my heart till death.
Arabian adventure is a CLASSIC FILM 🎥 🎞.
I love it anyday, anytime.
My childhood right there 😊
Oh man finally i got it
I watched this movie a long long years time ago in 1980 just when i was 6 years old boy in a local theater refreshes the golden childhood memories
I saw this movie on HBO in the early 1980s, when I was a teenager. It's one of my favorite movies!
Mine too
I watched this film as a child
How in the world did I miss this? As a kid, I would have been all over it, but for whatever reason, I never even heard of it.
Haha...we had a copy of this movie on VHS. My dad bought this movie among others on his business trips to Dubai in the early 80s. Brings back a lot of memories.
Still got this movie in VHS😂😂
Watched it back in the 80's when I was small and always enjoyed it. Was definitely one of those movies that might have inspired the Prince of Persia game franchise.
Wow we were part if this film, but never seen this trailer.
Thank you 🙏
30년전.. 내겐 추억의 영화ㅜㅜ
Rip Mickey Rooney 1920-2014 and Rip Christopher Lee 1922-2015 they are 14 months apart
We need another movie like this. Pure dumb fun.
I think this thriller exposed the full plot and climax of the film 😭. Can't believe I found this after all these years. Watched it on VHS as a kid. Could barely remember it, only some scenes, especially the apple scene. I've been looking for this on the internet for some years now. I wonder why it isnt so popular despite some stellar casts
I saw this as late as 2007 and on Australian TV that Christmas and I had no idea what it was because I only came into the room briefly when the Genie was on firing thunderbolts from his palms and that's all I could remember and it took me until this year to eventually find it!! I'd say it's not as popular because it's pretty dated and cheesy/silly, so it's more of a nostalgic thing for those that grew up watching this stuff - Sinbad et al, and I like things like Hawk the Slayer and Krull etc. They evoke fond memories of growing in a time when everything wasn't so PC and deemed cancel-worthy
grew up watching this in the 80s
I Went to see this at cinema as 11 year old boy.
@1:41 Emma Samms, pre-General Hospital 😍😍😍
Think I saw this at the cinema as a kid. Was a double bill with one of those made for tv Spider-Man films. My mum hated the Spider-Man film so bad she went off to a cafe leaving my dad and me to see this.
mr y mysterious video I went into the theater thinking it was going to be a Harryhausen type fantasy and it was-except there is no stop motion animation. Not a half bad movie. Once again Christopher Lee saved the day!
To jsrm vyděl jako kluk v letním kině
One thing we can all say (and my dad was born in the Middle East): this movie would NOT fly today! LOL
Pot sa vad si eu acest film contra cost si en?

Name?
@@buka.a I think the name was like the their of Baghdad or Arabian adventures I think it also starred Christopher Lee as the evil magician
@@buka.a the thief of Baghdad 1978 it starred Terence stamp not Christopher Lee as the evil magician
@@buka.a probably this one I'd assume:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thief_of_Baghdad_(1978_film)
The thief of Baghdad of 1978 with Peter Ustinov in it. Do you mean that one?
