Damn dude. That's a beautiful finish. I'm a beginning diy'er. I've been following a few refinishing techniques on UA-cam and I have to say you're the most unique because you followed your instincts and had your own pads created. Now, you can sell your own brand to your followers and beyond. I'd like to get your pads and try them out on my 2015 Honda Pilot Exl to see how well I could refine my skills. Thanks for the instructional video your patience is very well appreciated. Keep up the great work. Uptown Ray.

Hey we all stuff up sometimes.
At least they are both 4:1 . . . my speed clear is 4:1 and other clear used 2:1, once I mixed up normal clear 4:1 and it went cloudy / milky AFTER it was ready to go out, well after it had cured.
Ok to fix after a couple of weeks with a good rub and quick base / clear again.
I got my demin pads already, since seeing your original video on them !!
Haven't had the need to try them yet, but actually look forward to getting some excess peel to correct, lol.

Painted a quarter panel yesterday ,and corner of bumper,so to make this story short, instead of getting the can of blender to melt the new clear into the old clear,I grabbed bulldog plastic promotor, and sprayed it to melt the clear, then that smell of adhesion promoter hit my nose, but it was to late, had to let it dry then wet sand all that stuff off until the new clear feathered out to the old clear. What a pain in the ass that was.😮

These pads have been around for years. The made issue you will face is heat and paint swelling, especially when using a DA.
The other issue is thr give in the backing on the pad when using a da will be similar to sanding with a foam backing sanding disc, as it contours to the peel. It will remove more paint film thickness than sanding.

    • @kandyman5315
