Very well explained about shop cleanliness and looking after the tool investment. In North America or anywhere in the north some type of insulation and constant shop heat in the winter isn't really optional. I've seen many pictures and videos of shops in the U.K where few even insulate never mind keep there usual garden shops heated and/or dehumidified. To see all the rust on the tool surfaces is a real shame. A decent investment in tools comes with a few extra costs and requirements. Fortunately I always see fairly low humidity levels so rust isn't a problem like a lot of others are forced to deal with.
So true about condensation. My metal shop is in an unconditioned space. When a warm(moist) front on a cold California winter day moves thru, I have seen my larger tools just start dripping like a glass of ice water.
I have to bingewatch some of your videos :D
Nice shop setup, I wish I had that much space for woodworking machines...
I'm very lucky to have a wife, who lets the garage be my shop 99% of the time. :-)
