Happy Spooky Season! In today’s video I am making over my IKEA RAST nightstands. These are a DIY dupe for the West Elm Quinn nightstand. This is by far the cheapest way to get fluted furniture by going the DIY route. I knew I would only need 3 of 8ft long molding pieces, but purchased 4 just to be safe. Paint color is Pumice by Behr.

Looks very nice. My only question is the structural integrity of the piece. Are those brad nails’ll be able to hold the weight of the whole drawer?

How much did you cut off the bottom please.

The same height as the toe kick I removed from the front. About 3 to 3.5”.
