Hello everyone,
Today I'm sharing with you my favorite tips and tricks for applying eyeliner!
If you follow my tips you will get a perfect, flattering eyeliner shape for your eyes. They will always look even and make your lashes appear fuller and bushy.
Please note that I did use a liquid eyeliner for this tutorial, just because it's my favorite look day to day but the same rules apply for eye pencils and gels, even eyeshadow!

Honestly, coming from someone who's practiced for years, it's just practice and pain. I can not tell you how many times I've stabbed myself in the eyes. Now I don't even flinch or blink. If your eye twitches, I started out using 2 small fingers to hold my eyelid down

Finally starting to get the hang of it, after like a hundred trials... Having very hooded eyes made it a lot more difficult as any thickness of the liner immediately smeared across my hoods whenever I blinked. The key for me was to:
1. Have the eyelid half-closed/open when applying the liner. Closing them made it worse because, somehow, the liner gets thicker when you open your eyes again.
2. Try to draw right on the roots of the eyelashes. It almost feels as if you're drawing on your eyes. You get used to it eventually and the eyelids stop twitching.
3. Small quick strokes with a thin liner.

Does anyone have that problem when you apply liquid eyeliner and there's a thin strip of skin still showing above your eyelashes? I have no idea why it does it. It might be certain eye shapes or eyelashes. It doesn't happen to the girl in the video, the eyeliner is smooth all the way through and there is no skin shown above her eyelashes
A Place to Escape SAME
It’s not absolutely failsafe, but you can tightline on the upper lash line with a kohl pencil in the same colour as your liquid (or gel) liner and that can help to prevent the all-too-easy-to-have-happen gap. Going over your liquid/gel liner, once it’s dry, with a very fine brush and some black (or, again, whatever colour liner you’re using) eyeshadow, gently rubbing it to the base of your upper lashes, can do the trick, too. 😀 Also, if you wear false eyelashes and place them right at the base of your natural lashes that can sometimes aid in concealing a (small) liner gap as well.

Y'know last time I tried mastering it and couldn't open my left eye because I was winking while putting on eyeliner. Mine is waterproof and it felt like glue on my eyes. Or like how you cried the night before and in the morning you get what I mean.

xKuki I was trained to have unstable hands. Because I play the violin and we have to vibrate the strings with our fingers.... I also play the piano and my best skill on the piano is playing a note continuously fast using the same finger.

u should try to put tape above and below ur eye and make ur triangle for ur wing then just put ur eyeliner on the triangle and it won't get messy😊
The annoying thing about me and liquid liner is just.. UGH. I have long lashes that always get in the way. And also I am a beginner at makeup, todays the first time I actually have my own makeup, and get to try it on myself.

If u r bad at liquid liner DONT TRY PENCIL (im honestly really good at liquid liner because ive been doing it for a couple years and i constantly practice) but pencil i personally dont like unless on the waterline. It doesnt have a clean crisp line that liquid liners give and even it its a really good pencil liner if still wont give a really black pigmentation (if thats wat ur looking for also) BUT if u r a beginner at liner try using a felt tip one where the liner comes out if the tip like a pen. If u have any qs to ask me about liners just ask!

When I had a make-up class some time ago, the instructor said, that you have repeat very many times until you nail it. So it is impossible to make perfect with a first try. Even with the tenth try. Just do it again and again.
I mean, she did? Start from the middle and color down slowly. Then go back and color the rest. The video is literally showing you how to do it. You just have to practice. There's no trick that get you the perfect staright line instantly unless you use the card thing for wings and even, you still need to practice

try curling your eyelashes the opposite way or like curl it upside down :) it will make your lashes straight then just recurl hehe :)

If you put vaseline on your eyelashes when you sleep every night, it helps them to grow over time. I hardly ever use mascara now as my eyelashes are so long, genuinly.

SAME! Idk why I can't do normal thin eyeliner it always ends up really thick and chunky and dramatic because I miss spots at the top and keep going back to fill it in and it always ends up sloppy
***** try to start the line almost on top of your eyelashes to get a very thin line and work your way up to a thicker line. If there are a couple tiny bumps in the line, don't worry because they are not noticeable unless you are looking very close up to your eye. I hope I could help. Sorry if I didn't.😊
Chedelyn Esquillo do your mascara first, and then with a pointed brush follow your lashes for the wing. i usually do eyeliner with a brush (it sounds weird, but i don't like the matte finish that comes with the gel liner) and just follow the line, aka your last eyelash. :) u can also use q-tips to fix it up after if u mess up (make sure u let it dry so u don't clean up the one u want to keep)

I usually use a felt tip eyeliner, but recently I’ve purchased lashes with magnetic liquid eyeliner since I’m just horrible at putting on regular glued lashes. I used the elf and nyx eye primers and I kid you not my eyeliner behaved and didnt scatter to my upper lids! Eye primers gave me hope to try using eyeliners again

So when I try to do it like you, I get one eye that looks absolutely flawless, and the other not so good. I hope it's just a newbie problem and that I'll get better with practice.

I have extremely long eyelashes and they always get in the way when I'm trying to apply eyeliner so it always ends up looking too thick and messy unless I apply it so super close to my lash line but since i have long lashes its super hard to get it the way i want it. Someone please help!
As I'm reading the comments, so many ladies have this problem! Naturally long lashes are a good problem to have ;) I havent been able to solve this problem either though -_-
