- I'll be showing you how to apply eyeliner the right way for 2021! This video tutorial will show you my method on how to apply eyeliner the right way with a beginning, middle and end technique. I have seen so many people do this the wrong way and have also been asked many times to show how I manage to get it perfect every time, so wanted to share this with you all!
This is a detailed tutorial on how to apply eyeliner. I will talk through every section of eyeliner application from which products to use, how to use the products and easy tips and tricks for you to follow. I have no doubt that you will be a pro after practicing my method of eyeliner application!

So I actually tried this the other day. Now I love eyeliners and have been putting them since I was a teen and all those years I did it horrible lol. I tried your method and omg BIG improvement. It wasn’t perfect but for the first time using this technique it was so much better. I have actually tried other techniques some people start at the flick part and go backwards Um that was horrible on me. But your technique was awesome. I also bought a setting powder because I finally know how to use it thanks to you lol.

You are always the best at the demonstration of any makeup technique. I have never worn false eyelashes because I could never get the hang of putting them on. I am mechanically challenged, but I am going to try to do this. I actually think I can do it after watching your video! Thanks again for a wonderful instructional video!

Nina, you have done an excellent job of explaining how to apply eyeliner. What about mature eyes such as mine? There are horizontal lines on the upper lid. How do you navigate them? Perhaps a tutorial for more mature eyes???

Do you have any tips for ageing eyes that aren’t the same shape?! Cause that’s me and I always struggle with eyeliner. I tend to do just the outer corner, no idea if that’s right x

I am 35 years old and I haven't ever got this right but after watching this video and doing my " flick " for about 20 minutes..I actually got it. I'm confident with it now. Also, I love IL MAKIAGE make up. Do you ever use that make up brand?? I use their moisturizer as well. Do you have any advice for me on that. I use the JLO GLOW "That Fresh Take" eye cream, what do you think about it??

How about putting eyeliner on the lower eyelid ? That I see lots of people do and it looks beautiful as well !? Could you please show that ? And what do you think about lower eyeliner under the eyes ? I think the lower eyelid eyeliner really eventuates the eyes as well !!?👀👀👀

Hi Nina, that was great , will break into smaller segments which makes it easier as you suggest but do struggle with the flick as i have hooded eyes. Can you do a tutorial for hooded eyes would be very useful.

Hi Nina, love your video. I have a very hooded downturn prominent eye shape due to aging. How do you do eye make up as the prominent eye socket bone protrude and is very hard to do the uplifted look.

my dumass self at first actually thought that the eyeliner went on where my eye lashes were, so the entire time I stood there trying to put it on while thinking that everybody that used it was just naturally good at. though, at some point I finally realized it probably doesn't work that way.
Where do you teach?
Which is better, liquid eyeliner or pencil (retractable, etc)? Is it a matter of preference? Sometimes I struggle with getting that thin line of liner but I will keep working at it. I’ve been switching back and forth, L’Oreal Original retractable eyeliner and Stila liquid. What is your opinion on those? Thank you for your awesome videos!!
I prefer gel or liquid pen as it’s more seamless than pencil - I haven’t tried those yet

Hi there! I’m 56 yrs old and my eyes are kinda sunken and I have high cheekbones. My eyelids are kinda droopy and when I do this little flick at the end with the eye liner, it’s doesn’t look even half as great as it looks on you. Any suggestions for me? Or do you think I’m too old to focus so much on the flick.

Your tutorial is very good, but still it’s hard to apply eye liner when your eyelids is a bit sagging, cause of the aging 😢😥😓.
I tried practicing putting eyeliner but i can't do it right when it comes to winged there's short, long, thin or thick haha

I appreciate the effort but i still look like a child coloring..i cant go anywhere lopking like this... I just dont get it im an artist but eyeliner doesnt ever come out right..it doesnt help either that my lids are so small i put on liner and u cant see any of my eueshadow the liner takes up my whole eyelid and i look lile a goth with heavy black eyeshadow idk

I love eyeliner, but I’m 60 years old and the skin on my lids is not nice and smooth and tight, so no matter what I do, it ends up “skipping” along the lash line and when I try to even the line I end up making it too thick. My false lashes hide some of it, but it never looks as good as how you do it.
Hi Nina when or at what age should you not do the liner on your eyes
At no age! You can still wear liner however change up the type of eyeliner, for example you can use an eyeshadow as eyeliner as your skin loses elasticity 😊

Hi Nina love the concept of breaking everything into smaller segments, ❤️❤️❤️ this also worked so well during your makeup tutorial at Dior CityWalk, back in 2017, we were able to watch the tutorial then chill mingle have the finger foods then come back to the tutorial etc you broke it up really well into three segments. Loved the little Dior gift bags that were given to us in the end but unfortunately I lost my gorgeous Dior brooch that came in the pack 🙈🙈🙈
