You two are a hoot for sure! Quite often I have to roll back just to re-play some of your funny comments! Jane, I have to tell you, those ornaments on your tree are indeed precious! They are reminders of days past, days when you were children and totally excited about the prospect of Christmas! Treasure them all! Thank you both for all the tips about the stitch frames, I have already purchased the American Dream Ez-Stitch Scroll Bars and the Nurge! And thank you for another wonderful 'cross-stitch/Hardanger' fun-time session!

Loved the latest Cross Stitchers’ Comedy Hour particularly the M &M Store and flosstube bra bits. I showed them to my husband. He hears plenty from me about how bras are like having a tight rubber band around your chest all day. Delightful Deliveries is being added to my vocabulary. I got one Sat. when the red pair of Cohana scissors I bought myself came. I used to splurge on jewelry. Now it is needlework tools.

Gorgeously stitched pieces again - Ladies 😍 And I so love that phrase from Julie: “oh that needs to go to the framer” 😂❤ Bless your soul 💞 To Jane: I feel you 🥹 since I’ve got over 150stitched big Mirabilia Designs (and oodles of SB-, Just Nan Designs and many others) rolled up and in my “drawer of no return” which is under my queen-sized bed (full coverage drawer 🙃😳) I could not even decide on which one to frame neither would I have space for them but I do love ‘em all 🤷‍♀️ So: I totally understand 💞

Happy New Year, beautiful ladies! You know I always love and appreciate your humor! It really makes me miss my friends back "home." My husband has been in the twin cities doing contract work and has gone to the MoA a few times on his days off. I can now tell him he was in my friend's neighborhood. 😄 The only time I've been there was in the late 90s. I don't think they had the M&M store then, but there is a multi-level M&M store in Las Vegas I've been to that sounds very similar. M&Ms exist in colorways and embossing that I'd never dreamt of.
Jane, I canNOT wait to see your hardanger released from bondage. Both are just gorgeous! And I love seeing all of your Shepherd Bush designs how deep is this drawer of no return??Somehow you need to make yourself comfortable while flosstubing so those wedgies don't keep occurring. 😄
Julie, I so enjoy when you bring out your previous finishes. You stitch so beautifully. The red hardanger 😲 I don't think I've mentioned it before, but you remind me of my mom before she had a stroke. The hairstyle, your glasses, a twinkle in your eyes, and smile. Neurologically changed, she lost her kind demeanor, that twinkle, and sweet smile. She may have enjoyed your humor, but I don't think she'd let anyone know that she even watched movies with orgasms involved. 😂 She did have plenty of those smutty dime store romance novels, though.
Ohhh and I just remembered: Jane and Julie, you showed the EZ Stitch scroll frame. Do you use the EZ Stitch floor stand, too? I had been looking for a different floor stand that would hold very large projects (for Chatelaines) because my stand that I love dearly isn't very supportive. I have had a Stitchmate (artisan passed away) for approx 15 years, which is very heavy and sturdy, the clamp rotates the frame to access the backside, but the clamp is on the side of me. The long scroll frame droops on the opposite side of the clamp. I've been waiting for Omanik to manufacture Monstriks, but they've been out of stock for almost a year without a date of when they'll be restocked. So, I ordered an Albert. Accessing the back of my work is a bit of a hassle (having to reverse the motor, securing thread to the back, and then forwarding to where I was on the front). Soooo I decided to order the EZ Stitch floor stand yesterday morning, which comes with 30" rods and 12" side bars, I think? I'm hoping that the frames, or at least the rods, I have from the Stitchmate and Ks Creations are compatible/interchangeable on the EZ Stitch stand so that I don't have to buy more rods. I have so many already. Okay, I'll finish my novel. I really hope and pray that you're blessed with good health, joy, and continued laughter this year Have a great rest of your weekend. ❤️

I use Good Notes in my iPad. For Hoity Toity., I copied the pattern taped it together and used colored pencils to color it, then took a picture of it with my iPad. Then I can send it into Good Notes this way I can enlarge it to my heart’s content.

Jane and Julie - you bring such joy to my life! You make me chuckle out loud and I just love you for it. The stitching is a bonus treat! Jane, I really love the dark doily you’re making! I didn’t even know that Weeks Dye Works sold Perle cotton! Where can you buy it? I’m interested in knowing if you use a floor stand or lap stand to hold your scroll rods? I feel like my stitching spot in the living room already looks like a dental office (or, God forbid, a gynecologist’s office) with my recliner extended and my super bright magnifier lamp. I can’t imagine adding a floor stand to hold a frame too. I really enjoyed seeing the snowmen from the drawer of no return (I have a similar drawer.) I’m waiting anxiously for your collaboration announcement on Jan 14! Have a wonderful couple of weeks.

Watching this video was the very best way to begin the new year. So much fun, as always. Julie, you are a great enabler with your beautiful red deer sampler. Jane, your gorgeous pieces remind me how much I enjoy hardanger, and it will be high on my list for 2023 stitching. I plan to order Julie's book and a couple of patterns and have my order ready, but now I will wait until Jan. 14 to place it. Question: Do you think Sulky 12 weight thread could substitute for DMC pearl #12?

I usually make a working copy and highlight away, it just works best for me. WHAT??????? you used the Iron? Who are you??? I had to replay that to make sure I heard that correct. One thing though..........now I'm desperately trying to learn hardanger! It's so beautiful. I've kinda made 3 basic ornaments. First one the tip of the scissors nicked a kloster strand and it gave way......FAIL. Next one was ok but wonky. Third one is reasonable. Thanks ladies for yet another rabbit hole 🤬. Have joined the Needlebugs SAL beginning next week I think. Will also be putting an order in for Julie's shop when her sale is on. God help me!
