Hi ladies - I am playing catch up & starting at the very beginning of your floss tubes. I had to comment & hope that eventually (today is Sat 4/27/24) you will see my comment. I've been watching you for a month or 2 & have been so taken, primarily with your friendship with each other. Girl friends are THE best friends!! Now having watched from episode 1, I am seeing more of your fun friendship. When I tell you that sometimes you make me laugh so hard that the cat jumps & I have happy tears running down my cheeks, I am not exaggerating!!! My family lives up north on Lake Superior, & I will be traveling up there for my g'daughter's wedding in Duluth in June. I LOVE the bridge so much!! And what an inspiration you are!! When you showed your Old Shaker Hymn project, I nearly jumped out of my skin. I put you on pause & managed to find it in some etsy store. they had 1 left & it's on its way to me!! I am totally OVER THE MOON!! That song has such significance to me/my family/& my son who passed 5/2012. I cannot wait!! So thank you ladies for everything you bring to your video. Great video, as always. Yes, I have been the lucky recipient of something fun added to each of the orders I've placed from your website Julie and I've loved each one. You're very generous and I love all of your products. Very fun wips today. The Red Deer Sampler is coming along very nicely and is beautiful. I'm working on the Prairie Schooler Christmas Eve pattern also. Mine is stitched on a light blue fabric with snowflakes already printed on it. I love your block finish and would love to know how you attach the stitching to the block so it looks the way that it does. It's stunning!

Oh my, I was practically rolling on the floor with Jane’s “WHHHHIPS”!!! The two of you are just the best and I just love your videos and your friendship. I got so many good laughs from this video, so I thank you both. I don’t know if either of you are family with Silks4U that sells full hanks of silk that is so gorgeous and it is $35.00 for the full hank which equals 30 skeins of DMC. I have used her silk and it is so nice to stitch with. When I get a hank, I usually cut it in thirds and give a third to a friend and my sister and still have plenty left for me. I currently have a Long Dog sampler going using this silk. They have such gorgeous colors so you might want to check it out if you have not already. I just wanted to share that. Julie, I received my gorgeous scissors fobs that I ordered along with the gift from you of a scissor shield. I was so thrilled with the gift from you and I have so many scissors so I always love getting a shield. Thank you so much. P.S. Your peanut brittle looked yummy!!! Julie, I ordered the Pumpkin Pin Cushion and a pair of scissors from you, received them, but have been like a chicken with her head spinning. Another wonderful video. My jaw dropped when Julie pulled out the finished prairie schooler with the handle. Oh my word. I need to figure out how I could possibly finish some thing like that when I don’t have a “guy” to do it. Any tips would be appreciated. And I would love to know where she found that handle. Ya’ll have brought so much knowledge and joy to me personally…..I’m a 24/7 caregiver to my husband - I came back to cross-stitch during the ‘lockdown’ before that it was strictly needlepoint and quilting and other crafts…..I had forgotten how much making those ‘little x’s’ meant to me and how portable and relaxing it was…..Never apologize for being yourselves - God made us all just the way we are and He loves us that way…..laughter is indeed the best medicine……❤❤❤

okay-I am going back and watched #6 and 7. In regard to Reindeer Fried Steak LOL!!! reminds me of my quick thought on a sign I once misread. My husband and I were leaving a casino and the road comes to a tee. there was a sign that I thought read wife beating-I just thought it was someone pranking someone for their birthday or whatever-I did not say anything to my husband at the time. The next time we left I thought I would reread and see if someone's name was on it-oh no there was no name but upon correctly reading it said "Weed eating" I have no idea why I thought it said wife beating but I then confessed to my husband what I thought it said and this has become a standing joke in our house-You both are doing such a great job. I am trying to spread out watching your videos because I do so enjoy!

Hi Karen. I normally will gently wash my hardanger piece and then press it face down on a white cotton towel. It's not really blocking, but I'll let Julie weigh in on it. She's the expert!
