Thank you so much for another wonderful video full of laughter and fun. I always enjoy all of your stories and beautiful work. I am not a quilter, but I always stick around see your incredible talents on display. I also love seeing the turtles and learning about them! The laughter was so needed this week, you are both such a blessing! Thank you!!
I repeat myself but once again this was an excellent video chock full of wonderfulness. The turtle tidbits was fascinating. They are beautiful little things.
My first time watching and I so enjoyed watching while I stitched. Your projects are wonderful and such a great variety. I hope you enjoyed your time away and look forward to seeing what you've been working on.
You two were on your best today... loved it! I'm bummed about Stitchville also. Today, I found out Crafts Direct is closing! I hope we don't lose any more. Love all the information... even quilting, of which I know nothing.
Love you both! Thanks for the smiles and laughs and all the beautiful things. And the happy swimming turtles - they were very perky today. You made my day, as usual. Happy month!
Both of you had beautiful stitching. Loved your finishes. Turtle time delightful. I’d love to see your quilts in person. Please send some of your energy my way!
I get giddy when I see you have a new video up! I so enjoy watching you two. I only cross stitch but I always stick around for turtle tidbits and the quilting! All your projects are beautiful! Enjoy your trip! Can't wait for the next episode and all that wonderful haul!
Kathy Owens, owner of The Cross Stitch Cupboard gave me a wonderful suggestion for stitching with white.... use DMC Floche instead. Thicker and only need 1 thread. She is wise and I was pleased with my finish
Great video ladies! I always enjoy seeing your cross stitch projects and hearing your plans. Your finishes are so nicely done! Leeann, your quilt is fabulous! Have a fun weekend shopping and stitching!
My first visit to your channel and I really enjoyed all of the cross stitch work you both displayed, beautiful stuff! Totally jealous of your hauls, you have so much wonderful stitchery ahead of you! What a sweet surprise to get to see baby tortoises! I had a pet African Desert tortoise for many years, he was nearly as little as your babies when I first got him and he grew to about 14 inches in diameter. I didn't catch what kind of tortoises yours are, but the certainly are beautiful and adorable, all at once! Your quilts are just lovely. I have a desire to make an applique quilt, I have hand pieced and quilted a few small baby sized ones over the years and a couple of years ago I fell in love with a specific applique pattern so your channel will urge me on in that endeavor! I have subscribed and look forward to your future episodes!
Welcome, Deb! Thank you so much for watching! Nice to have a fellow tortoise lover on board. Sorry you don't have it anymore. I have Indian Star tortoises. I rescue turtles and tortoises and the female and male came to me a couple years ago from a man going into a nursing home. They are beautiful!😊
I love learning about turtles. I’m also a quilter, so I appreciate and love all the work you put into your king size quilt and pillows. They will all look beautiful on your bed. And of course, I come for the cross stitch. I get a lot of inspiration you both!
Ya’ll are a Hoot! Love everything Ya’ll do…..I’m a huge wallpaper lover as well……I try and try to count the number of turtles behind you, I’m sure you’ve said but I missed it…. Love love your baby-turtle stories….❤❤❤
You two are so much fun! I LOVE your quilts! Your turtle tidbits are great, as well….oh, did I miss your stitching? You have some fabulous projects going. Happy Spring!🌸🌺🌻
Thank you so much for another great video. It is always so much fun to see your projects. LeAnn and I are both working on the Smith Sampler. Love to see how differently each stitcher works. I always stay around for Turtle Tidbits. Very interesting. Congratulations on your quilt finish, LeAnn. I missed the name of the pattern and designer. It is beautiful. Happy stitching. Best, K
Thanks for watching, Karen! I forgot to mention the name of the pattern. It is by Blackbird Designs. It's "In Full Bloom". I made it out of their fabric also. Love watching your videos, too!😊
Bonus just discovered your channel today and extra bonus turtles and quilting as well. I enjoyed looking at all your stitching and learning about turtles.
This was so fun! Love the turtles swimming around in the background. The turtle segment was fascinating. I do a little quilting but mostly cross stitch. I look forward to the next episode.
Both of you ladies are so talented. Your quilt, and pillows are both beautiful. I enjoyed the turtle talk. So informative, also the pillow stitch in is lovely. Have a fun trip,
Now closing date May 25th for Stitchville 😢 My husband and I love turtle time. What type of turtles are they again? When mama lays her eggs are they on dry land or in the water?
Amazing ! So look forward to your videos - not just for the turtle tidbits ! Congratulations on the quilt and cross stitch finishes … quite a lot achieved on so many fronts … I marvel at your energy. Have fun on your getaway!
You ladies are hilarious! You had me AND my hubby chuckling several times!! LOL I love your creativity! I am such a “in the box” thinker, I dearly love your ingenuity! Beautiful finishes in both cross stitch and quilting! The turtle tidbits were fascinating! Loved the pictures of the new hatchlings! I just sat here cross stitching the first chart of Log Cabin Christmas. I’m stitching mine on one piece of fabric, 3 across, 3 down. Happy stitching, ladies!
I'm so glad we could give you AND your hubby some chuckles! Wow, you were quick to jump on the Christmas Log Cabin! I'm still waiting for my threads! Happy stitching!
You gotta get that guy outta there!!😂😂😂!!! Beautiful FFO’s, WHIPS, and fun haul. Ohhh, the quilting is beyond fabulous too!! The pillow shams are gorgeous. Love the appliqué! You two make a great team. Thanks for sharing, Denise
Jeannie, your finishes are soooo adorable and creative! Love all of your wips! Quite an inspiration for us! ❤ Such interesting info on the turtles! The babies are soooo cute! 😘 Your quilts are all so gorgeous!
I am in Suffolk County, Long Island, NY where we do not have any cross stitch shops. We have one machine/ fabric/yarn shop. There is a larger one in Queens, NY. So most of my shopping is online.
Great video. Im in love with the quilt and pillows. I'm pondering making new curtains for my living room. Those 🐢. 💗 My husband wants to know where they're (the tortoises) from. Glad to see you ladies again. Enjoy your trip.
Thanks for watching! The tortoises are called Indian Star tortoises and they originate from Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka. I rescue turtles so I received my male and female from a man in Ohio that was going into a nursing home a few years ago.😊
I so much enjoy you ladies. All that you do cross stitching and quilting is beautiful! I really enjoy all your information on the turtles. What fun. Thank you for that, and for making me smile. Have fun on your trip! ❤️❤️💕🤗
This is an awesome video once again. Loved everything. You brighten my day, as I am the primary caregiver for my husband with a rare cancer. Now lots of chemo related visits. Taking the wind out of my sails. Keep it coming. (We are both from the UP.
So sorry to hear about your husband.😢 My husband has Parkinsons so I know about the caregiving. I hope you get some breaks once in a while. It helps. I will keep you in my prayers. I'm glad you enjoy our videos.
Love The entire floss tube, but the symphony piece and then the applique huge pillow were my favorites, along with the darling baby turtles. What a fascinating hobby. I have always liked turtles.
Thanks so much, Joan! As you can tell, I love turtles! This time of year gets interesting because they start laying eggs and eggs start hatching! Thank you for watching!
One of your turtles keeps running into the glass and the goes back really fast to the other end. I hope it’s ok. I love watching them. I always love to see what you both have been up too. Especially quilting.
Thanks for watching, Connie! The yellow albino turtles don't see very well because of the red pigment in their eyes and they don't see the acrylic walls of the tank. They don't get injured though. I don't move decorations around so they know where most obstacles are.
An hour ten, and I still didn’t want it to end! Beautiful FFO’s Jeannie. And love both of your WIPS. Jeannie, when you stitch on 20 count, do you just stitch over one thread? I’m assuming so but wondered about how hard it is on the eyes. Leanne, your quilt is magnificent. The patchwork shams and then the appliqué pillow for on top, amazing. Love all the colors. Can’t wait to see everything on your bed! Interesting info on the turtles and tortoise. Thanks for the pictures and them in real time too. I love the name Valdani for the other hatched turtle😁. Jeannie, I hate the memory foam mattress. Our son has one and we had to sleep on it when we visited. I don’t get how people actually like them. Happy stitching gals and enjoy your trip!
I do use only one thread over one on 20 count. But I like 2 threads over 1 on 18 count. I hope I don’t need to experience a memory foam mattress ever again. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Ronnie and Belgonni…perfect names. I hope it sticks. Question: the albino turtles….what number of dmc is the colour of their shell? Are their eyes a different colour than non-albino turtles? I wish I could go shopping with you two….but it is safer for my wallet that I am not even in the same country.
Thank you so much for another wonderful video full of laughter and fun. I always enjoy all of your stories and beautiful work. I am not a quilter, but I always stick around see your incredible talents on display. I also love seeing the turtles and learning about them!

You two were on your best today... loved it! I'm bummed about Stitchville also. Today, I found out Crafts Direct is closing! I hope we don't lose any more. Love all the information... even quilting, of which I know nothing.

Thanks for the tip, Mindy! I will give it a try.
Will need to try that. Thank you.
Definitely a 10 rating for flosstube as you made Jeannie turn red

Hi Trish! Everything is good! We will be filming on Monday. Just a couple days late!

I will let you know. Thanks for watching!
