The coffee dying is very easy. The coffee mutes and changes So of the colors so beautifully. I think the heat does set the colors. I put mine in the oven when I was working in the kitchen to help me remember the floss was in the oven. I have also set alarms on my cell phone to remember things in the oven.
I just love you both so much. You bring me joy.

Ohhh LOVE your Little Red Schoolhouse, Julie! I just finished stitching it. Started it at Stitch North on the Thursday night May 4 and finished it a couple days ago Sunday May 21. It was such a pleasure to stitch. Lori is such a good designer, I will stitch every single colour sampler she puts out!
OMG!!! My hubby came in from the other room to see what I was cackling at over the “Pontious P . . .” story. Thank you! The lovely stitching was just a bonus to that, lol!
15 WIPs is rooky numbers Jane! I've got over 100 😂 I have stopped myself starting any more though and I'm using a decision wheel to decide which ones I'll work on until they're finished. It hasn't stopped me buying new charts that are now on another decision wheel for when I've cleared some of my WIPs.

I'm tired of buying an entire skein of any brand for three stitches! I've started to trust myself and use my stash. Loved the Pontius Pilate story. Oh my, you ladies had me rolling on the floor laughing. You two are so much fun. Wonderful stitching and love your purchases. I always say I have to live to 148 to stitch everything I have, but I might actually be up to 187. Which reminds me, I'm going to have to do a new will to be sure my stitching and stitching accoutrement's go to a family member who will enjoy them when I'm gone.

Love you guys. I heard Carol mention you and I was like “I know them”. I found a Shepherd’s Bush chart in my stash @ 1990. I am finally stitching it because Jane’s are so lovely. Mine is hunter green and mauve…those were the days.

Jane, I have the chart for Floral Motif Sampler but have not kitted it up. I am going to have to get the fabric that you are stitching it on. I just love it. Oh and Julie the Little Red School House Pinkeep is a chart that I really want to get. Both my Mom and Dad went to one room schoolhouses, and we would pass by them on the way to Grandparents home. I am such a fan girl, that when I found your channel, I have been binge watching all the shows. Love Them. You two, I look so forward to your videos!!!!! Julie, I stopped the video when you talked about doing a class at welcome stitchery and sent Justine an email to put me on the list. Hope Jane could come with you. I have a small start on Hoity Toity and absolutely love it and will probably pull it out this afternoon. Referring to the 25 count one over one I have two projects going on that count. One is Liz Matthews 12 days of Christmas and another one is Autumn at Hawk Run Hollow. It is awesome to work on. Shelly, Justine and my friend Ona are also doing the 12 days of Christmas.

You had me laughing at so many points, I enjoy your videos so much! On the "Pontius Penis" story, I have a similar one, but it dates all the way to the 70s when I was growing up in Bible belt south Georgia. In the next county over, our church had a sister church known as Mount Penia Baptist church. Well, in our church bulletin one Sunday morning, we are all sitting there as the pastor is making announcements and there we all are sitting there with our bulletins in hand as he hit the typo of Mount Penis Baptist. 😂 The church secretary never lived that down!

Oh how I love watching y'all. Coffee dying does need to be dried in the oven for a little while to set the color to be colorfast otherwise the coffee will all seep out onto the towel when drying. Just maybe 10 minutes or so then on a towel for the rest of the time.
