😂😂 Asinine take. Ryan Day is absolutely not getting fired this season. He is 56-8 and 39-3 in Big Ten conference play. Five of his eight total losses are to elite teams, three of them being some of the most accomplished and dominant teams of all time in 2020 Alabama, 2022 Georgia, and 2023 Michigan. He is an elite head coach, end of story.

Ryan Day is 56-8 with 3 CFP appearances in his 1st 5 years as a HC, and 6 of his losses were to teams that were ranked top 5 when played and in the final poll. The other 2 losses were to teams ranked 9th and 12th, plus 3 of those 8 losses went to the eventual national champion. Meanwhile these haters have coaches who lose games to the likes of Indiana, Vanderbilt and Rutgers. 🙄What's even more comical is 99% of them would gladly accept a coach with Ryan Day's win/loss profile, especially as a 1st time HC. Any honest Michigan fan (oxymoron?) would be over the moon if Sherrone Moore started his career out with the same exact win/loss profile as Day, but most are too delusional or arrogant to admit it. This national obsession with Day's job is crazy, LOL.
It's not national, it's the local fan base. They can't tolerate another loss to Michigan. Fortunately Michigan hired a dud of a coach and will suck.

Along with academic prestige a blue blood program top two to three job in America an elite landing spot. We played at Notre Dame last year, Penn State, Michigan, at Wisconsin, and once again played in new Year 6 bowl and finished in top 10.
Only big ten team we lost to was the national title winner and Division is the toughest in cfp. 3 top 10 teams
Also we play 9 conference games, and our tough matchups come late season, gauntlet week after week. No citadel Bs and always prime non conference matchup home and away unlike SEC neutral site garbage.
