  • This short clip from Marvel's Agents of SHIELD (and my quick intro here to it) is more important than you might think (and for 3 reasons):
    1. I posted this Agents of SHIELD clip on Instagram last year, and I only remembered it as someone recently found it, liked it, and that reminded me of it. Here was one comment from 2023 from a student from last year on this video: "Wow! I’m in the middle of your 21 day. Amazingly enough I could actually watch that and not have to look away terrified! How did that happen ?lol" Answer: It happened because you have more capacity and you are facing your own dark stuff that has been hidden. This is humanity. Horror. Terror. Scary bad things. This doesn't mean we don't want good positive things, but we need both light and dark #darkworkers #lightworkers
    2. SPOILER ALERT: If you haven't seen Marvel's Agents of Shield, this is a small snippet of it. Much nectar in this series around trauma responses & the glories of a multiverse with benevolent (good, helpful) & malevolent (dark, evil) beings.
    3. This scene is deep into the series when she and her partner Fitz, are having their consciousness' hijacked by ET's. (Yes, this is what I love to watch to relax.) That lady monster is Jemma and it is her shadow self that she stored up in that little music box -and this is a great depiction of what we store up inside and how it can try to kill us if we aren't careful. As Jemma says in that frantic closet scene (double metaphor here with them being in a closet): "Daddy told me to put my troubles into a little box." But the best part, as Fitz puts it at the end, "You are so English." (Stiff upper lip, right?)
QUESTION: Do you store away your troubles in a neat and tidy little box like Jemma here?
NOTE: To ensure this dark stored away side of us doesn't kill us, best to face it and work with its energy! But in order to do that - without re-traumatizing ourselves or shutting down/looking away because it's just 'too much' - we must have enough capacity. This is why, in the nervous system work that I teach, we focus on growing capacity and regulation first.

I’ve been orienting everyday for a few months now and have also noticed that I’m able to stay regulated when I watch certain films/to series. 👌🏼

Procrastination and anxiety have been coming up for the past few weeks regarding diving back into the actual SBSM program (as opposed to just living life at my current state of embodiment - which is so much deeper than eg. 6 months ago).
This is good, in some sense. It means my body is tapped into the awareness that there are a thousand forms of pain/discomfort/fear that will hopefully be triggered by continuing with this work.
Just wanted to share!! This was so useful for me to realise.

    Matthew10:16
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
I believe this is why God tells us this important information so that we can know the enemies tactics so we are equipped to counteract them and not be blindsided.

Try looking up night hag or hag. Maybe Hague could be a French spelling

      Here you go~
The night hag or old hag is the name given to a supernatural creature, commonly associated with the phenomenon of sleep paralysis. It is a phenomenon which a person feels during a presence of a supernatural malevolent being which immobilizes the person as if sitting on their chest or the foot of their bed.

There is higher spiritual principles involved here also. One may be protected and helped by certain factors due to a deep sincerity and commitment to one's earnest spiritual work. This can often supersede the physical functions. So called "miracle healings" are at the extreme end of this. Ofcourse, all is bound by laws. One could be rather healthy in body/nervous system/trauma but a spiritual douchebag. One could also be utterly surrendered to God although the body can be rather wretched.
