Considering nothing is plugged in and and theres no mic and wireless wasnt invented yet . I would say its lip syncing . Most shows did lip and instrument syncing to recorded tracks back then cuz the quality for live recording was expensive and not as reliable as far as sound quality while taping.

This song really demonstrates the good quality of Frankies falsetto. I know exactly which guy is which of the three now , from watching the videos alot. From the time the group broke through with " Sherry " i never paid much attention to anyone in the group , except Frankie. I was always familiar with Gaudio , though.
