@@therobloxgroup1262Hi! I was born in 1956 so that makes me 69. I bet you see that as a terribly old woman whose brain is not thinking now. I remember when my daughter was in college. She was born in 1987, so that would put her in college around 2003, because I remarried in 2005. When she was in college, she kept talking about Facebook online. I investigated and thought it was a great idea. But, she kept telling me it was only for her age to keep in touch. Like I believed that. At school at my grade level, I was in charge of computer matters. I can't remember if we were still using floppy discs. But, I was writing poems and sending them by E-mail to our newspaper. Please realize I am using UA-cam this very minute. But, I prefer Instagram so I can keep up with people in Scotland and in different places in the United States.
As a person ages, it is very important to challenge your thinking process. I read books and on TV a channel called BritBox. There are so many detective shows and other quite interesting shows that are funny. I hope you have a wonderful week. Remember, it's not your age that matters, but how you use your brain.

Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream (bung, bung, bung, bung)
Make him the cutest that I've ever seen (bung, bung, bung, bung)
Give him two lips like roses and clover (bung, bung, bung, bung)
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over
    Sandman, I'm so alone
Don't have nobody to call my own
Please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
    (scat "bung, bung, bung, bung")
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Make him the cutest that I've ever seen
Give him the word that I'm not a rover
Then tell him that his lonesome nights are over
    Sandman, I'm so alone
Don't have nobody to call my own
Please turn on your magic beam
Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
    (scat "bung, bung, bung, bung")
Mr. Sandman (male voice: "Yesss?") bring us a dream
Give him a pair of eyes with a "come-hither" gleam
Give him a lonely heart like Pagliacci
And lots of wavy hair like Liberace
Mr Sandman, someone to hold (someone to hold)
Would be so peachy before we're too old
So please turn on your magic beam
Mr Sandman, bring us, please, please, please
Mr Sandman, bring us a dream

why does this make me emotional...i guess looking at them so alive and young and unknowing of the future makes me sad since 3 of them have passed away. The one alive didnt know she'd outlive her friends. They say "bring us someone to hold before we're too old" and now they're past old and now gone. idk. Maybe I need to go to sleep.

***** After reading up on billboard's hot 100 for 2015, really only a third of songs are about the above mentioned themes. Most of the songs there are about things you'd here in the fifties and sixties.

Cristal clear female voices and perfect harmony, that's what made great songs to sound so good. This video is a time machine tribute. Greetings from Brazil.

My great grandfather recalls a spring afternoon in 1954 he was laying down having a nap and this song played on the radio as he woke up, he said he felt like he was back in France during WW2, he settled down in a convent where nuns sang to his platoon while they awaited orders to move into the Ardennes.. their voices he said, angelic and soothing..
