This made me laugh! Hobo Nicki is bad boyfriend material for me too! The only way it really works for me is recording class notes after the fact, so I have a quick reference.
My notebook looks a lot like yours but I"m using a hobo weeks mega. That digital thing you do looks amazing. I would always forget to put it on my phone even though I"m always on my phone. My progress is on my youtube channel.
It’s an omnijournal. 😁 My journal is the same. Long form journaling, tasks, memories, dear diary moments, my wallet, lists, planning, and on and on. All crammed into one book. Because I can’t keep it in separate books, or it just won’t work for me.
Is reading the Bullet Journal book your own personal challenge or part of the larger One Book July challenge? I just finished reading it last week so I'm kinda excited to try to add it to my system somehow. :)
Try doing the Ryder Carrol method only. He came up with the method originally. The challenge this year is Back to Basics One book one pen. THEN add bits and pieces of what you need. Some of us need to simplify. See Rhommy and MissVickieBee and Carrie Harling videos.
Formidable video. So much great information. Very detailed too. Truly enjoyed every bit of it.
Thank you
This video has given me some great ideas for One Book July. Thank you!!

I seriously considered trying to use my Mega as my bullet journal but it's just not big enough for me to do everything I want to do! :-)
Enjoy the challenge! This is my 5th year, and I've learned a bunch each time.
