🗽🗽🗽 Thank you for this read along! I loved hearing your thoughts and going back and taking notes as you were referencing the pages. This book is a game changer and has really opened my eyes and mind. My favorite takeaway from this section... “The power of the Bullet Journal is that it becomes whatever you need it to be no matter what season of your life you’re in”. I felt that in my soul! Thank you again for sharing, I can’t wait to see your journal!
Started to read Ryder's book last week (and joined One Book July with a video, whoop whoop!), so your video was a great refresher & reminder of what I'd already read and taken my own notes on. Thank you Carie!
Carie this is awesome! Even though I’ve read the book already, going through it again with you this way is so helpful. This was such a good idea. I’ve been all over the place this week with my system and this is helping me gain more clarity! Looking forward to more 😊
Love the comment about the notebook working for you, and not comparing it to others. The pretty planner community have done amazing things with the bullet journal, but some people seem to think that that is what bullet journaling is and if you're not creative you can't do it. Noooo... so not true. Thank you for doing this Carie, the book is on its way here and I can't wait to read it.
Thanks so much for sharing. I am loving the book and especially enjoyed hearing your thoughts. I have a version for the bullet journal in my Malden right now. Looking forward to having it evolve as we work through the book. Hope you are feeling better very soon!
I was just going to do the one book and then I picked up the book at the library and now I’m over here nodding my head and taking notes🤦🏽♀️ Sharing my thoughts in my 1st week review 😆
Love this, thank you for this! I have been skimming the book and I love your break down. I was nodding my head a lot too. 😊 I also love whichever neighbor that was singing in the background half way through 😆
I had my BUJO size all set and the night before I just couldn’t do it and tossed all my thoughts out and went back to an A5 which I thought was too big😝 No I realize that smaller just would not work I have large handwriting and the smallest I could go could be an A6 but I wanted to do my One Book July 2019 in a different size so I went big😜 Realized not only size but paper is an issue for me! I had stated in an A5 ( cheaper notebook) I grew to hate it very fast, only to toss it by day 3 of One Book July and realized it’s not commitment but it is the paper😱 and as I reviewed my journals and the ones I abandoned was the paper. I acknowledge I am a paper snob and to use the ones l love because of the paper. For OBJ it is a Leuchttrum 1917 no longer into cheap notebooks but the ones I spent more money on but I commit to those books. So week one of One Book July 2019 I learned a big issue of my journal/planner life. Not sure why I shared that but tried the BUJO for about 3 years and realized it was written to do it a specific way but as you follow Ryder Carol’s method you begin to find what works for you💕
Carie thank you so much for the readlong videos, it is a big help us who do not have the book.
There is also a metric ton of helpful info at the bullet journal website, if you haven’t checked there yet. 😊

Thank you so much for sharing your insights and time with us, very generous and helpful.
BUSY! Yes! I've started saying I'm 'prebooked', meaning I already have plans in that slot. If I feel 'busy', I'm probably close to overwhelm.
That's so me too! For me "BUSY" = OVERWHELM...

This was really a great video! I have read the book twice and STILL picked up some tidbits from the vid. Thank you!

Such a wonderful idea to have this as a read along. It almost felt that we were all sitting in a circle outside with you...lol. Thank you Carie.

Thanks, you rock. I understand completely.
Really enjoyed the read along. It helped me grasp the meaning more listening to you and your thoughts. Can’t wait for the next session. Thank you!
Can't wait to see what planner you chose.
That's a great book!
Can't wait for Week 2. Thank you for sharing this. 🙂
