i agree!! i will start my stalogy journey next year (2020) and i always watch her videos or stalking her IG just to get some inspirations for journalling on stalogy.
I thoroughly enjoyed your flip, and as soon as you started saying, "let people plan their way, it doesn't affect you nor me", I immediately hit subscribe. I'm so glad you are unbiased. That just made me love this video even more.
This just makes my heart happy ❤ it's so beautiful! And I love that you spoke out against people having an opinion about how other people plan... it's such a personal choice and who cares?! Love your flips! :)
Loving it, so with you on the Malden needing a back pocket, been tempted to order a Van der Spek which would have one. Best thing about the B6 Stalogy is the flexibility, not being restricted, fallen so much in love with mine and spent 100s of years in rings (LOL), never thought I'd change. Awesome video, you provide so much inspiration.
I loved watching your flip through so much. 💕 There’s something so satisfying about finishing a thick notebook like this. I agree that if the personal Maldens came with that back pocket it’d be perfect. Oh-and a wider pen loop would be nice too. 😆
@@Daksina Thank you! I'm not on Instagram and really don't want to join any more time sucking social media platforms! Honestly, I'd spend all day on there!!
Thank you for sharing your year so far. I do a weekly view setup but have been considering a daily instead. Seeing how you manage that has inspired me...and given me permission to leave some of each page blank. (-:
Loved seeing the progression of your planning system. It’s taken me a year to start liking the Stalogy paper and I just started using it this past weekend. I also found the pen I like to use with it. I was the same way with Tomoe River paper and now it’s my absolute fav. Enjoyed your answers to questions and I totally agree, “live and let live.” I also don’t understand why people get upset on how others plan (chunky planner, deco, change sizes). I think it’s a blessing for people in the planning community to take time and share their love of stationery. I deringed my pocket Malden and regretted it since the back of my A6 Stalogy did not fit. I am OCD so I would not trim the back of my cover. I did find a workaround from Sarah Martinez and created a folder for it to slip into, but that was short-lived. I ended up purchasing rings and adding them back. I’ll have to check out your pocket Malden video. Love the pronunciation of your name. Thanks for sharing! ❤️❤️❤️ Joy2plan
I've stumbled upon your channel thanks to Robin @talksfromtheheart and I have thoroughly enjoyed your stalogy videos. Thank you so much for sharing them! May I ask, where did you get your Today marker from @23:56. Thank you again, new subscriber here :))
You're so welcome! Off the top of my head, the only 'Today' marker I have is from Type A for Alexa on Instagram. I just added my own washi to the edge as it was originally made for my A6 rings and still has the holes in it😊
Love your set up. I’ve taken inspiration from your Stalogy for my A6 Stalogy planner. I’ve contemplated moving up in size to the B6. But I’m worried that I don’t have enough info/tasks to fill up pages in the B6 size. 🙂
Thank you!!! Yeah, just use what you need and works for you! I considered using an A6 for summer as I don't have much on, but decided to stick with the B6 for consistency.
Great, functional video-thank you! General notes and random thoughts...do those go within your daily pages? I found I left too many pages at the end of mine this time :)
I usually keep a week together, but in-between weeks I have notes and stuff, yes. When I got to May, I kind of counted out how many pages I'd need for May and June monthly and daily pages and knew how many extra were left for notes. I was determined to finish every page so it was good to count up towards the end. Hope that helps!
shelly smith Ah that sucks! I made this one myself using my silhouette, unfortunately, so I can’t help. I hope you can find someone else who sells what you’re looking for!
Love your set up!! May I ask how you tipped in the acetate in the front of your book? I’m interested in trying that in my B6 Stalogy but am only familiar with the washi on the edges trick. Thanks!
Jennifer Labarge Thank you!! I have a video showing how I do it if you’d like to see, but it’s the same way as washi but using clear tape instead: ua-cam.com/video/lQq7IbY-pxk/v-deo.html
MrsIllouz My kids are slightly older (8 & 12) so we do school in the mornings and activities in the afternoon. I usually work while they’re at sports/swimming, or while they’re playing/having quiet time. It took some time to figure out a routine that works for us but we got there eventually, as I’m sure will you. Thanks for watching!😊
Do you feel the B6? Is to big? I have an A6 but worried the B6 will be huge. I subscribed to your channel today and you went from 999 to 1k congratulations 🎈
Oh wow, really? I didn't even know. Thank you so much for subscribing!!! I think B6 is perfect for me, even though some days I definitely don't use up the whole page. I was in A6 rings before this and it wasn't enough on some days. But if A6 works for you, then go with that!
Generally I decorate when I'm setting up my week. I kind of know how much space I'll need. But sometimes I do add some washi if I haven't used much of the page.
Daksina thank you for responding. I do have another question. Where do you get your cute little character calendars? Thanks again for sharing what you do. Your my favorite to watch on here.
I stumbled across your channel and was intrigued by your flipthrough, I've not heard of Stalogy journal before, is this just like using a bullet journal (forgive my ignorance)? The reason I ask is that I have tried bullet journaling many times and I've always given up I forget to fill it in and before I know it, weeks/months have gone by and I get fed up with it, so I have several unfinished bullet journals lying around and I am looking for something different to use, love your pretty stickers and your vellum papers, may I ask where you get them, probably not in the UK? :)) tfs
Hi! Most of the vellum and acetate in there is from a UK shop on Etsy called MaddisonFoxPlans. She also has stickers. The Stalogy is just the name of the company that makes those notebooks. Each book has 365 pages and people do use it as a bullet journal, but others use it for lots of different things - notes, journalling, art, etc. The paper is very thin and great for fountain pens and also watercolouring in. But you don't have to use this particular brand for planning. Any notebook works. One of my friends also forgets to write in her bullet journal, but then she just picks it up whenever she does remember. I guess that's the beauty of an undated notebook - you can use it as and when you need!
@@Daksina Thank you for reply, I will check out the Etsy shop. I don't use the bullet journal because I had mapped out different months to fill in and then forgot all about filling them so it looks a bit stupid right now with lots of pages set up but nothing written in them if you know what I mean? :)
How do you get your stalogy so full, does it take long to get like that. I keep trying but just doesn’t work for me 😂 I just got a new stalogy so I’m hoping it will this time 🤞🏼
Jane H Hehehe. I add lots of tip ins to it! I use it as a planner for everything as well as a memory keeper. Just use it all the time and it’ll fill up soon enough!
I'm deciding whether to get the A5 or B6 Stalogy! For consistency I should get the A5 since I own Jibun Techo A5, but B6 Stalogy looks pretty large for me too. Do you have any suggestions/ideas/recommendations for choosing A5 or B6 Stalogy?
I can’t decide which I should use for my daily planner: a6 or b6 stalogy. I keep going back and forth. I had decided on the a6 and then I watched this video and have now decided on the b6. Have you ever used the a6?
burnsmiddlegirl Only A6 rings. I did consider using an A6 Stalogy for the summer as I’m not so busy, but decided to stick with the B6 for consistency. So I’ll have all of 2019 in B6. If you need more space then B6 is great, otherwise you get the same flexibility even with the A6😊
Love the idea of a yearly planner in the back for future appointments. Thanks!
