Honestly, it was a pretty good attempt. I actually think he will be able to pull it next time. Just a thing, at around 15:05 the reason he was unable to roll was because he was out of stamina, not because his spacebar didn't work.
I mean not to discredit the guy but he was still at the incredibly easy parts of the game. I respect going through blight-town the way that he did and not dying, but in terms of bosses he hadn't fought anything even slightly difficult.

The M/K controls are messy and annoying, and way too sensitive. I played ~150 hours of DS3 with M/K. I really thought he could do this even with the fatrolling and then he jumped down.... I saw a lot of possibilitys for him to die but to gravity is just depressing.
I mean a deathless run isn't that hard if you know the movements of all the bosses and got the experience, the only thing that ruins it for me is bed of chaos, because it's more or less random.

If you started playing it with mouse and keyboard then it's the same really, there are not any complex combos or requirement of frame perfect imput (unless you're using exploits) in this game.
I played through it with just the keyboard and no mouse. Other people have played through it using any number of weird controls. The biggest part is practicing and getting used to your controls. Once you master the controls, the game isn't that difficult.
Do you know you can plunge attack Taurus demon by climbing the tower where you killed the two crossbowmen ? Safest way to kill it, bait him the other way, and run to the ladder, then plunge attack, run away like a coward bait him again etc...
nah, safest is just to kill him like a normal person. climbing the ladder means you are defenseless if the taurus feels like swinging at ya. just hitting him and avoiding his hits is far too easy to take the ladder risk
@@deg1studios When you're new to the game, roll timings are tricky. Even today when i face him i make him appear and immediatly run to the ladder, he never have time to hit you before you up there, plung attack usually takes him half his life in a second, so why not doing it. And i'm pretty sure that's what the developpers thought when they designed the level.

A few pointers If you ever do this again Start with the Master key, It skips the annoying part of Blight town that you did there, so you can do Qeelag faster Try to get the Wolf Ring. It gives you free poise (40 to be exact) Invest in some Stamina. And if you are fat rolling, try removing stuff like Gloves and Helms. Speed with a Zwei is a good thing. I wont ask you to get the Chlorenty Ring since you have a thing for Gravity (Srsly tho Everyone did so Don't sweat it), But In the Forest theres a Shield that Gives you More Stamina Regen. Their small things, a bit out of your way but they would compliment your approach a lot. If you ever want a hand let me know or some shit. Good run tho. Also use a controller. Keyboard is kinda ass compared to it

I mean DS1 is a hard game to do deathless unless you don't count Seath's first encounter as a death. Since you either have to die to him or do that jump skip in the elevator which is quite hard to pull off and he should practice that jump skip alone a lot to try to do a deathless run again
It looks like I played dark souls backwards, I went to blight town through the valley of the drakes and the swamp. I have never seen the part of blighttown that he went to, I don’t think. I beat the capra demon after Amon londo. I love how every run can be different.

It's really not that hard. The Remaster fixed the controls. It plays like DS3, and it's no more difficult than a controller.
