I just had an awful manic episode earlier this year and finally got diagnosed with bipolar. You're right, you can't reason with the person. It's a brutal illness for that reason. Some folks say that they know how their manic-depressive cycles are but I haven't found a pattern to mine.

Man watching someone like Faze Banks telling him to lay off really puts it in perspective. I wonder if he's just so consumed by his idea of "success" that he assumes everyone else is too and he can't see the world through any other lens. So even when he's trying to use empathy he fails and thinks everyone is solely motivated by their own monetary gain like him. In a sad ironic twist, he probably needs more empathy and compassion for his own mental state. I'm not saying he's done any more than the next person to deserve that but I hope someone out there has the patience, compassion and knowledge to help him so that he can stop hurting others.
