Great info Dr. Matt! So thankful I finally woke up and made these changes! I’ve never felt better both physically and mentally.

Unrelated, but your iron saved my life in conjunction with a surgery. So grateful you make it available. I will try eliminating HFCs. It's in almost everything though.

My husband is adamant that his use of Splenda is totally fine because it’s not sugar. He was told all these chemical concoctions would help him on his keto diet because they process differently and keep him low carb. I am trying to cut out all sugar and he keeps telling me to use his stuff…won’t do it.

Oh man that is tough. Artificial sweeteners like Splenda will keep him chained to the ketogenic diet indefinitely.

i have seen you do videos on iron and are very informative. I also saw a short you did about iron an TRT and i have some more info on that that would make a good video and your opinion on cause its a big deal for a lot of men on TRT and i don't see anyone talking about it .
i good video on ferritin levels being low while hemoglobin levels being high for men on trt and then giving blood to lower hemoglobin, only to keep the cycle going into fatigue and other bad symptoms ( this is a HUGE problem for a lot of men on TRT ) I started supplementing iron every other day and it raised my ferritin and my symptoms started to get much better. why ? From my research hepcidin production suppresses with the introduction of testosterone into the body , which increases iron absorption and release from storage., raising RBC. So with hepcidin always being suppressed ferritin becomes tanked over time while hemoglobin levels keeps rising. supplementation of iron every other day in theory increases the low ferritin and hepcidin thus not pulling from storages because the body is now being signaled ferritin levels are more available. This helped signal less production of RBC. I found this to help rebalance my hepcidin and hemoglobin levels along with increased ferritin levels while energy went up along with still taking the trt i need.
