Mile-Long Waves on the Amazon River With Dylan Graves

- Dylan’s been upriver before, but he’s never faced the mighty Amazon River, its tributaries, and its infamous tidal bore known as the Pororoca. One hundred miles from the nearest coast, the team connects with Serginho Laus, a champion tidal bore rider, who has access to the Pororoca’s seemingly most vital piece of equipment: a jetski. Serginho once rode the Pororoca for 34 minutes without stopping, but he’s still super frothy about the experience - which is just as well, because it turns out this river is harder to dial in than it seems. And when the crew come upon a pack of even more stoked locals even further upriver, it also turns out, you don’t really need a jetski to have fun with this beast.

So much fun this season, really appreciate EVERYONE's support on this, especially here on YT. You are all what keeps me out there, THANK YOU for tuning in and making this possible. Great job @surfline with the roll out, super stoked on all the effort you guys put into this as well. PARTY ON !
Dylan, you’re rad. Please never stop doing stuff like this. You make me realize that there is still adventure in surfing.
You’re a legend Dylan, love the froth 🤙

Great Dyl, so creative and genuine! keep ripping and sharing your adventures with us! Cheers
just subscribed, channels awesome sir, big love from North Korea x
My favorite surf series, you will always be welcome here in Brazil Dylan! This episode was just amazing!
This episode really hits on every level of Weird Waves. Love the quote “this is confirmation that surfing only gets cooler the further you are away from the ocean” epic work 👏
Big Up Dylan and crew. Keeping it real and keeping the soul.
Dylan, I am speachless about the content, your poetic narration, the visuals, even with the funny features, the window that you open for others to see another culture that is far away from the ocean, the editing, in my mind the whole series is an Oscar winner!!!
What's up with the Capybara? Half way through the video and I'm bewildered 😂
Crazy stuff happens out in the jungle!
Thank you I was like wtf is that?????
I literally reversed my video twice to watch it again - couldn't believe what I was seeing, lol
@@DylanGravesYT dude tell me this is real and not edited it. Otherwise that's your 10Mill view vid.

Couldn't agree more. We're so stoked Dylan and Vans shared Weird Waves with us. It's such a refreshing, and unique series from what we usually have on Surfline. Fingers crossed for Season 5!
@@Surfline please keep supporting the show, it has ridiculous potential and is more core than just about anything else
Thanks Dylan, this was great. Seeing the contrast of surf cultures between different countries is always amazing.
Would love to see a series of you chasing swells between all of the Caribbean islands(Cuba, DR, Haiti, PR, smaller antilles) and compare their cultures.
Much love as always
I love your take on surfing and surf culture! Lets all take this incredible sport a little less serious, concentrate on the fun times, good people and nature!
Dylan and Surline, thank you for putting out great content, educational and fun!!!
Dylan, i surfed with you once last year at Middles. Super friendly and informative and most of all humble . I know you dont remember me, but I remember you. I had fun and surfing with you and your friends elevated my game that day you guys rip. Lots of respect, ✌️ from long island NY

I really enjoyed the video, but I don't get why in the title and the desciption it says Amazon River, when it's actually a different one. In the video Dylan just says 'the edge of the Amazon forest'
