This is what reef tanks are missing these days, and possibly the most fascinating part of the hobby. It’s the smaller tanks that allow you to really appreciate what lives amongst the live rock.
Its like watching something from the discovery channel. Loved the video. Could watch videos like this all day. Music was awesome too. Made the video very intense🤩🤩🤩
Incredible! Those images were insane! Can’t wait for the next one.
Love it. This is what you used to see a lot of back in the day. Very natural.
Great video!!! Really looking forward to more! I had no idea urchins had those little sticky feet 🤯 Salem, do you happen to remember what type of pulsing xenia that is?
Diggin that new lens I see! Very cool tank.
I'm literally taking the same approach to my nano macro tank. Just letting it rip, and whatever happens in it happens. Tons of flatworms, and macroalgae all over, cyano up the wazo but the 1 fish in there is loving life, fat and happy.
Now that was a ReefBuilders intro if I’ve ever seen one!
Finally another reefer like me... I love the microlife.
The microfauna ❤️ ~Remy
@@ReefBuildersVideo I'm running a 75 gallon Disp. / 30 gallon sump with fuge. No water changes, no skimmer, no filters mainly softie tank.
Love this! I’ve set up a similar system with gsp and am allowing nature to do its thing ❤
Love the video and music!!❤
Well done Salem fun vid
Wowww❤❤ pls make more vide.Love this editing style
Heck yeah! Pretty good for Salem's first video! ~Remy
I have a tank just like this. Live rock is the best !
Great tank!
Nice video, that footage is on point 👌🏻
So good! Need some of that twisting style xenia! Very cool. ~Remy
Can you find out what it is for us Remy? @@ReefBuildersVideo
This was like watching a movie! M Night better watch out
Dang, I like the twisting Xenia
yea i want
Beautiful tank. I can’t keep my rock flower anemone alive for more than a couple of months.
I can't keep Xenia alive, have a leather and soft coral tank. Had a lot of them and after a year they just melted away.
Very intersting narration😅👌🏻
Great lens on video!
Macro shots are amazing.
whats the ame of the song? :D
love it!
Just fot my hands on bali rock. Now at 66.
i just love Xenia and the other Xeniids. people think of them as pests but i find them to sensitive and hit or miss. a shame because i think they are beautiful
So many different species and colors! People who don't appreciate xenia are missing out. ~Remy
I have been collecting as many as I can - I have Bali giant so far and few others on the way - i want to make a xeniid only tank
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Salem has live rock in there from his first tank “10 years ago”…? I dunno. I heard from some super duper trustworthy sources in this hobby that he’s very inexperienced and has only been at this for a couple years now 🤔
Haha stay off R2R 😉
@@insanity4224 lol I’m just trolling for the LOLs. Salem’s got more experience than most in this hobby.
@@kalamazoo_reefer I’ve been in the hobby for 20 years but I’ll be honest I only feel confident in my reefing skills in the last year or two. I can’t learn from forums and videos only help so far. Podcasts and long form discussions have been a game changer for me especially when people like Salem who are both formally educated and have practical experience are discussing the reality of the hobby.
@@insanity4224 Totally agree. Long form content with knowledgeable people has been huge for me. Huge.
Definitely not for me
Thanks for this! And thank you for watching! ~Remy
@@ReefBuildersVideoSomeday you guys might live up to the Dennis Standard.
