Yay! Great vid. Nice and clear. Always wondered how to hang one of those.
Thanks brother. Pretty easy just need 4 people to lift it haha
I love the way she opened the side of the bags when the top was already opened 😆
Well done. Great job 👍
Very nice. Jealous!! 😂 I’ve never seen directions tell me to relax before lol!
The thought of hanging an 86" TV to the wall did sound stressful.
Great job looks really nice You put where u had to Enjoy your tv..
G’day mate, thank you for showing me how to install this set up. I have the same being delivered soon. I’ve outlaid a tonne of money and don’t want to make a single mistake on the install. You have a lovely home and thank you once again.
Great review!
Great video. I just baught two last month. Its easer to pull off of the wall when its not as high.
@kiyonexus 😂😂I'm so dead
That is 1 awesome set up
Very impressive! Nice job ladies
Subscribe button ON.
Love the video. Simple tips, I’ve been looking a video like this to set up my two brand new TVs.
Thanks.
I chose a wall mount that extends, tilts and rotates.
Bought it online for $50.
It makes installation way easier and allows for more movement when wanting to watch TV in the kitchen or at the table.
$50 to mount a tv weighing more than 100 lbs, and all of the extra features?
How many people were under it when it fell?
@@westmcgee9320 Has a limit of 132 lbs per the website I purchased the mount from.
Very cool, mounted to high though, but very cool addition...
Excellent job, awesome video
Thanks
Thank you!
Love my tv at an eye level instead of mounting it atop of a fire place, your head and neck is always looking upward which makes your neck very tire. I guess different strokes for different folks
It’s 86 inch, should be big enough to not make any difference
Ok I just watched the vid , it’s way too high, it should be at least 30cm lower
Dude, I know. So many people do it. I think for decoration
Definitely belongs on a stand (a big one) at couch/eye level.
Couch level is better for me, but this height would work as well if sitting further back in a reclined chair with tv slightly reclining down as well
Very peaceful background music!
1,000th like here. Thanks for the vid. I just bought the same set up, and it's nice seeing the install process
Beautiful televisions and a very nice set up i love it great job ladies you ladies rock and enjoy your new 86 " televisions
Thank you!
You are so welcome ladies
Awesome video
OMG! I was going to buy the exact same tv and was wondering if it can be wall mounted easily. THANK YOU!!! 🥰
Glad I could help! Tv is holding up well!
Right. Me too. LoL
Amazing tv
Great job
I bought this tv a year ago worth every penny
nice TV congratulations
Awesome video. I am pretty much set on getting this TV in the next few weeks for my new to be designed movie room. Loved the bracket tips!
great job ladies
Nice music on the background
Thank you guys so much for posting this. I'm a girl and I thought it too heave and almost gave up!
You can do it!
What does being a girl have to do with anything? Women give birth they should be able to do anything!
with the sanus is it possible to turn a flat panel 90 degrees? My 85” tv is 76” wide, so turning it 90 degrees would be about 38” to the wall.... But I think the Sanus is able to only go out about 28”.
Did you drill pilot holes for the lag bolts?
We have the same tv and mount but the difference is our mount always tilt down and its scary because we don’t know if its a loose screw.
You should do a tips and tricks on the tv
Sweet install ladies!! -Any cause for concern?? I recently had my LG 86" UQ8000 installed by two Jacklegs I found on Yelp. I provided the TV mount kit [unopened] and a Power Bridge outlet kit. After the installation I checked the TV mount kit's box and they did not use ANY of the supplies/screws included. The TV was mounted off center by about 6-8" and they told me it was because the mount did not allow them to "slide" brackets. I feel extremely nervous when adjusting the TV even though it appears as if they used lag bolts to mount it. I found it pretty strange they did not remove ANY of my equipment [i.e. huge 35lb Klipsch center channel, Onkyo AVR, gaming consoles...] from the entertainment center to get behind it and the next morning I discovered they destroyed the underside of it by DRAGGING it across my Berber carpet. They initially wanted to repair it and have since told me they will order me a new one.
That’s curious, hadn’t thought about curved tv mounts.
Mount a piece of 2 x 6 over the trim with bolts into the studs. Mount the TV onto the 2 x 6 with long bolts.
Nice LG!
Very good work! Terrific video!...
Great video! Is the tv still holding up?🎉
Nice vid
I’M GOIN TO THEIR HOUSE DURING QUARANTINE CORONA LOCKDOWN 😂😂😂❤️ CONGRATULATIONS ITS BUEATIFUL
I do think it’s a bit high. I think with the bracket away from the wall the moulding is not disrupted.
I have the same tv and mount. Thanx, your video got me prepared to hang this monster. And wow is this thing nice.
Is there are way to lock in the tilt angle?
I just bought a LG86 inch at Costco. I initially wanted to mount it into a a similar wall mount as displayed on the video. However, I decided to mount it into a flat one into 3 studs to secure the the from falling down. I however wanted to ask you guys about your opinions regarding 2 studs (4 long screws) mounting with a mount wall as displayed on this video. How safe is it? Have you guys experienced any significant negative effects from the tvs weight?
It’s holding up perfectly! Haven’t had any sagging or anything
Thank you just what I needed to mount my 85in Samsung Q60T TV! Liked and subscribed!
I have that same model LG 86'er. Its big. Unfortunately I never have time to enjoy it.
Wow its huge 👍
That's what she said 🤣
thank you.
Thank you good jebشكرا
I need a tv that big seriously
I'am going to buy my son the LG NANO75 86" tv but the wall mount i'am getting pulls out 24" from the wall and swings 120 degrees, so there is enough room for hooks. I found a wall mount on Amazon for $109.00 but found the same one on EBay new for $55.86!!!
You should invite giraffes to watch movies with you that high.
Uau...a minha é antiga e esta com uma divisão no meio...kkkkk
Essa é um show, nem cabe na minha parede..
It's soo high that I'll have to stand and still lookup to watch some movies
You have guts! I would be terrified to tilt and move my tv once it's up. Great job!
Thanks! I am still terrified to move it 😅
Cool video, are u happy w the viewing angle? I was thinking of putting a tv above my fireplace
I am happy with it! Feels like you’re in a theater and perfect when lounging. That’s my opinion 🙂
For a TV mounted above a mantle, that high, they sell brackets that pull out and come down to eye level for better watching, then go back up. However, they cost almost $400!
That is a great idea - must be a demand for that type of product!
AV experts agree, optimum viewing is 90 degrees to the center of the screen... I've always thought TVs on the wall look cool... But any compromise on perceived picture quality form looking up, might be reconsidered... That said, I hope you guys have kick-ass movie nights, and find popcorn down the sofa for years to come... (I can really recommend streaming 4k content from youtube!) xx
What is the name of your stud tool? Looks really good. Well done on the TV mount.. I think i would be scared of the mount movement incase the TV adds too much load stress to the mount
It’s a good one! Franklin Sensors brand amzn.to/3f5ak6o
It’s definitely a little scary 😂 But it’s still holding up great
I am seriously considering mounting a 86" with this same mount very high as well and everyone says not to.. I put a 55" up high in my bedroom and I NEVER regretted it! My theory is, I lounge in the sofa/bed and put my feet on top of each other: That is where the bottom of the TV goes.. Anyhow good job!
Exactly!!!! It’s the perfect height for me when I’m lying down and my head is angled up. Let the haters hate
For bed it good for higher.
Next you should try installing the tv on the ceiling 😂
My next video is suspending a 98” tv from a tree limb to watch through the skylight
Laugh ALL you want... I almost did that in my bedroom so I could lay down and just watch up
@@Kris-jk9mq idk if you’re joking but please don’t... I don’t think those brackets are engineered to hold that much weight, they’re designed to hold the tv vertically, but if they hold it flat who knows what might happen. And I also wouldn’t want an 86 inch falling on my face while I’m asleep.
@@AArrad It was a 55" in the bedroom I almost did this on.. And I would have lagged it up to rafters like a ceiling fan.. But you are correct, a normal mount would probably bend horizontal.
@@Kris-jk9mq imagine it just smacks you in the head and breaks while sleeping? Remember gravity is turned on all the time cant turn it off
awesome job, how are you liking the LG 86?
I’m far from a picture and audio nerd but it’s looked great so far! We definitely need a sound system though, that is my only ‘issue’. But it really feels like you’re in a theater with the size of the screen
Totally off topic. But yall bought your place with the trim on the wall like that or did yall install it? I've seen houses with that style but the walls are a smooth texture and not the orange peel that is on your wall, but it still looks good.
The board and batten is another project I did. I have a video on it on my channel! We do have textured walls so I put thin plywood backing up first to create a smooth texture for the paneling behind the board and batten trim
@@devitodoes3269 I will search for the video after I get off work. Thanks !
Where did you get that stud finder. That one is awesome.
I think Home Depot? It is a Franklin Sensors stud finder - $60
how long was the screw you picked for the back of TV. thanks
To go into the studs? I am not sure, I used the provided hardware from the package, I’ll have to check
TV should be on eye level for comfort.
Shell have to watch TV from the ladder.
Hello n hi, would ya put power, cable box cord etc on first be you hang this big tv on the back? Bcos I have the same one but it's a 65 and some day I want to go bigger thanks and enjoy your big screen TV 📺
Hello! The cables weren’t really long enough to to that, so we had to plug everything in while it was up there and then make sure it was all hidden and flush. A little difficult since you have to get between the tv and the wall!
@@devitodoes3269 I have had the opportunity to single bracelet before, but the change it to the swivel one to be more easyer to do everything on the back of set and the wall it's hanging from saba plus for me bcos didn't want to hurt my hands etc. I doing it, thanks ok, oh and nice tv from my old 65 to your 86 📺
That's some super girl power there.💪💪💪💪 I would've paid someone to install that. I'd be too scared to even try.
I was so nervous!! Thankfully I had some family in town and they helped - took 4 people to lift it up!
@@devitodoes3269 Didn't seem that way to me.😊
Seriously? Mounting a tv is basic...
@@iishyxvietxboyii1 Not that size.
How heavy is Tv ? Around 100 lb?
Yep!
Wow what an upgrade from 55 to 86 😮
How do you like the quality of your LG? Any regrets or suggestions for a prospective LG buyer? Thanks
I’ve always had LG TVs and never had an issue. I’m far from a picture and audio nerd but it’s looked great so far! We definitely need a sound system though, that is my only complaint
Entre Samsung LG cual es mejor
It is so awsome to see women put up tvs #girlpower #girlsrock #girldad
So is the spacer not necessary for a tv mount that swivels and tilts
I was wondering the same thing.
always makes laugh when people(mostly yanks) stock TVs up by the ceiling lol
How do u like it so far? Good screen image? Worth it?
Loving it! The size is just incredible and really makes it feel like you are in a theater. Quality really depends on what I am watching. I need to test out the image using something NOT streaming. But streaming 4K looks pretty great to me
@@devitodoes3269 Cool! I will be buying it! Thanks
Any problem with the tv sagging, tilting down on the mount?
I haven’t noticed that! Although I do have it tilted down since it’s high up
It looks comically big. Haha. Mine comes in the mail tomorrow!
ROMTHIRTY u spent $2000? During a pandemic apocalypse economy collapse?
@@janierios1194 yes, and bought a second home. Market is record low. I don't see what the big deal is.
ROMTHIRTY you must be ritch
Janie Rios haha mine comes Friday
@@marcusmccurty1769 You're gonna love it. I'm super impressed with the black levels. It's not an OLED but the blacks are super deep on it!
got the same tv was to scared to put this one up feels like this tv will pull the whole wall down
That's too high up...RIP neck
Haven’t had any issues so far
Waaay too high
@@TexasRanchu it works because the angle of the mount.
Besides tilt angle aids the neck drama and is ideal for large space where your not sitting so close to TV. I have large living room vault ceiling TV over fire place bottom of 85" QLED 60T about 5.5 Ft from floor seating minimal 7Ft from TV. Love seat and sofa across from each other one front end 7ft from fire place rear of love seat and sofa is recliner that's 12ft across from fire place. Tilting the TV helps to Aid in so called neck pain and distance away from TV. All my seats are motorized recliners too. Before I had 70" vizo m series c70 for 4years zero complaints from visitors. No neck braces yet LMAO!! Absolutely love high mounted TV. Pain in the tail to get up haha
Seeing taking down old TV I do wonder how high up it is, I am looking to put middle of mine 2m up as need shelf's below for other things
FYI for future reference you did not need to take the original plate off, these work with most mounts, I would have just used the original.
You’re probably right. But the tv is almost double the size of the old one, I wasn’t going to risk using the smaller tv hardware. I don’t remember what it was rated for so safer to just swap it out.
@@devitodoes3269 If it makes you feel better then thats OK, but understand that those things are pretty much the same, and all are rediculously over engineered, you could hang a Kia on most, took a 20 lb sledge and a half an hour to KNOCK a piece off of one once
My ocd not letting me accept the placement of the tv it’s off center from the trim pattern on the wall, and it being half on the plane and half on the trim pattern is bugging me 😫
Lol sorry 🤣
What screws did you use m6 12mm?
Honestly I am not sure. Everything came with the kit
NEVER use power driver to tighten bolts in these applications... always hand tighten safely...
That scarred me.... but well done!
Do you want a dolby atmos soundbar to go with that ?
That would be great! Don’t have one yet. My dad actually has the same tv and has a whole atmos setup at his house, it sounds amazing
👍👍👍
I had a question about the TV do you like the TV or a get a lot of glare and it blooms a lot on dark scenes because I got one and I didn't like it and I'm trying to see if it was just my TV or that's how them TVs look is hard to watch him and night pissy when is Dark scenes going on the lotto blooming going on
I'm sorry, do you speak english?
I haven’t had any issues with it! I’m far from an expert but I have watched all sorts of dark scenes in moves and haven’t noticed any problems
Okay thank you I got to take mine back
Watched the whole video and she never turned the damn thing on ughhh!!!
7:41
U obviously didn't
😂😂😂😂
I just got a 65" and thought it was big. 86" must be humongous.
It’s massive! Still getting used to it
65'' why?
It is
Honestly, it depends on what you had before and the size if the room it's in. I got use to the size and the "oh!" Factor after a couple of weeks. It looks normal to me now.
@Net Hub Watch TV on a 43" in a big livingroom. It would be so incredibly tiny. The optimal size is relative the the room and the distance watched. There's a formula to calculate it, google it. 43" is probably good for a small bedroom.
Ive been looking at this tv. I really fancy it but I have to agree with chriskader you have it too high up the wall. I like to watch tv with my line of sight at about the middle of the screen. Thats how I watch my 92 inch projector screen. Great video anyway. Thanks
Its weird its 86" but it still doesn't look big on video. Even the 98" tvs i saw look small on video.
Very true!
Can you tell me how wide that wall plate is?
The bracket? I believe it’s 42”
@@devitodoes3269 thank you!
Mine is a 98inch TV I placed it on my home theatre, my kids love it
That’s awesome - must really feel like a movie theatre!
DeVito Does Its alright, nothing special... i just love that my kids watch their cartoons and everything
Where does the cable receiver go
I don’t have a cable receiver. Only a small Roku box that is stuck to the bottom of the TV
Why not just stand the TV on a cabinet in front of the wall at a comfortable viewing height? The cabinet would also give you a place for your video and audio equipment.
I wanted to mount it on the wall
Most likely because she wanted to mount it in the wall
Probably because they wanted it over the mantle
what is the cost of the tv ?
It was under $2k and that was over a year ago so prices have gone down
Why so high up?.
Goddamn I need a bigger house for that tv
I just bought a 70 inch lol think I’m about to cancel my order
to small?
Go at least 75" or 82" minimum 👌
@@jonnyweber3311 100 inches
Jonny Weber huh?
Stafon Von Camron ?
Horrible positioning?! The center of the screen shouldn't be higher up than your head while sitting on the couch. Otherwise it will both kill your neck and the viewing angle will be garbage. Tilting the screen just looks stupid in my opinion.
Thanks for your opinion!
Great video enjoy your new TV
