Once Season 1’s scripts were locked in, they began working on writing Season 2’s scripts immediately, without the knowledge of whether they’d get to actually put them on screen. That meeting in the documentary was in early 2021, so over 3 years ago now. Kinda crazy to think of how far ahead this stuff has to be worked on!

Hey Aisha, I know you’ve already seen Arcane, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the world of Runeterra. The League of Legends universe is massive, with so many regions, characters, and stories that are just waiting to be explored. The cinematics they’ve put out over the years? Absolutely stunning. The level of storytelling, the music, the art styles-they’re all on another level. Imagine doing reaction videos to those cinematics. You’d get to dive deep into the lore and discover how each character’s backstory ties into the greater narrative. Plus, the community loves seeing new perspectives on their favorite champions and story arcs. You’d be reacting not just to the visuals, but to the incredible world-building and emotional depth that Riot Games has crafted. Trust me, once you start watching, you’ll see why so many people are hooked. There’s so much more to Runeterra than what’s shown in Arcane, and your reactions could bring that world to life for so many others. What do you think? Do a reaction to them pls.
Both RIOT founders crying; a cynical whisper in my head tries to tell me that it's relief over a nine digit dollar investment paying off - but I choose to believe it's because they were moved by the storytelling and the dedication of the people involved. If Arcane teaches us anything, it's that people are not caricatures.
What's actually insane is that Piltover and Zaun are considered by some to be the most "boring" regions in that world, and I kind of get where those people are coming from. I mean, I love them, the aesthetics and the characters are great, but there isn't really an overarching plot other than the class struggle and the weird technology. Noxus, where the Medardas are from, is one of the most dense regions when in comes to the political intrigue, power struggles and something more ominous looming on the horizon, and the fact that we see more Noxians in the S2 trailer makes me think that it's where the next story will take place. I hope so, at least, but honestly, this team could probably make an interesting story set in the middle of nowhere.
In the premier in that cinema room thing they watched first 3 or 4 episodes only. It was also streamed for free on twitch so that the league fans can take part of the events.
One thing that got me through some of the months after season 1 ended was to watch some of the vids that were interviews with the cast, or the animation leads.
If you're looking for recommendations on what to react to, I've fallen in love with "Frieren - Beyond Journey's End" and got nearly as obsessed with it as It did with Arcane. It's an anime and as such doesn't compare in animation quality to Arcane (not even in the same league), but it's so well told and wholesome that I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
I know their feeling when you do something you care that much about. I used to write and run convention events for Warhammer stuff. And I started playing at 11. And their passion showed. I fracking love this show. And couldn’t give two turds about LoL.
I woud like if You would watch more of League's videos, it would be interesting to see after that, which part of the world you'd like most and where should next show be in or about. Me personally, I would like next show to be in etiher Freljord or ( and this could be live action movie even ) war between Demacia and Noxus [ Garen × Katarina .) ]
Loved watching this whole reaction series! You’re genuinely so engaging to watch and I love the way you analyze and talk about things. Do you have a Tumblr? The Arcane community is really active on there even through the leaks and people love to overanalyze and meme about the show on there it’s been a fun pocket of the internet to discover haha!
So, on the subject of hype, a few weeks before Season One I remember catching one of the trailers as a UA-cam ad before another video, and I immediately got drawn in by the animation style. Like, I'm the kind of person who skips every ad without fail, couldn't care less what it is, but this time I actually stopped and watched. Then I saw it was based on League of Legends and thought, oh, well crap, it's just some extended advertisement masquerading as a show. It's going to be pretty, but completely vapid. That's a shame. And then the show dropped and the buzz started. And then John Campea, who I don't always agree with but who tends to be an honest and generally sober-minded reviewer, absolutely GUSHED over it and said it was flat-out the best animated show he's ever seen. So I thought, okay... wow. Maybe I should give it a shot. So, funny thing, I thought it was alright and didn't get what all the hype was about at first, and almost ruined Episode 3 for myself. I remember being tired and distracted when the explosions started, and I just happened to pause right after the third crystal went through the wall and I stepped away for something. I came back and was like, wait a minute, I thought these guys were getting out, I have no idea what is happening, I need context here... so I REWOUND to watch the entire sequence again. Thank goodness I did, too, because I was starting to piece together the implications of what I saw, and it was adding to the impending horror. I was like, no, that did not just happen. From there until the end, I was so angry at the show yanking me around emotionally, until the moment Silco's hand went up to wrap around her, and I realized what they were doing, and I was SOLD.
@@blackshard641 I almost feel the exact same way!! Initially agree watching the first two episodes I thought, “this pretty fun, the animation is sensational but I’m still not quite seeing the hype”…then episode 3 happened and wow…I hasn’t felt emotions that strongly while watching a show in a long time. Giving this show a chance was the best thing I’ve ever done.
IF you're doing your storytelling right, you should have end goal in mind and for them to be working on the story for season 2 as the animation is being worked on for Season 1, it's not surprising. In comics the writer should probably be ahead a good 5 months of the book being worked on. At least the editor should have a pretty solid plan for the story and direction of the book. In old TV production LOST just kinda made stuff up to shock and surprise the audience not really thinking of the end goal. They only watched the first act at the premiere because Netflix did something they normally don't do and that is to drop the entire season in one drop. They released three episodes at a time over the course of 3 weeks. Guessing they might do the same with Season 2. And its really too bad that it's ending with Season 2.
Thanks for the great reaction and commentary! I haven't watched this in a while and it was such a fun trip down memory lane =)

@@artxroyalty awesome! :)
Covid was happening when this premiered!
Just here manifesting a reaction to the new trailer today since it's been a minute & we miss ya
Hope all is good
@@jeffkoenig7402 it’s coming!! 😉
And its really too bad that it's ending with Season 2.
yo new arcane season 2 trailer is out. you should give it a watch. it looks amazing
After you do Fallout, maybe look at The Legend of Vox Machina. its a great series
100% agree! one of my fav's! Aisha would dig it for sure
@@ralphbull3975 oooh I’ve heard that’s another great animated series! I’ll add it to the list!
