These are the best rolls I have ever made. They Freeze well too. I placed the leftovers (Same Day) into the freezer. (I live alone) and nuke single ones in the micro for 20-30 seconds. They taste as good as when they first came out of the oven. The first ones I ever had that did that!
My great grandma used to make the best yeast rolls..she never wrote down her recipes though, and after she died, ive searched and searched for a recipe that tasted like hers. And what do you know, I made these for my family and we all took a bite and looked at each other and just cried! Tastes just like hers. I love this recipe, thank you for sharing it.!

This recipe is SO GOOD! I made my 4th batch this weekend. I doubled the recipe then delivered a half dozen rolls to each of my adult kids along with backyard BBQ chicken. They were grateful for the BBQ, but the text chain from them and their families is all about the rolls! Huge hit! Again, thanks for the lesson. I have transcribed the recipe and will make these forever!
I used to make rolls with my Grandma, such great memories! 😀 She never had a recipe and I couldn’t remember it because I was young. She has been gone for a long time now and I have looked far and wide for a recipe that tastes like hers! I have made many rolls and nothing came close until this one! I just made them and ate one hot out of the oven. They tasted so much like hers. Thank You so much for the memories flooding back!

I absolutely love this recipe! I made two batches today. Both turned out as if I had bought them from the local store! Thanks so much for sharing! I made one batch using 1/4 c of oil and the other batch 1/4 c of Crisco butter shortening. Although they both came out delicious, I feel the one with the oil worked best.

I live in Europe and I have oven where I can choose to bake with heat under and above or bake with fan. If I add the fan to under/above heat, the outcome is different. I don´t know how your oven is, so can you inform me about how to adjust my oven correctly
Asta, in the States we usually use the under heat. The above we call broiler and convection cooking is with the fan. Do not use convection for bread because it will crisp the crust too much. Hope this helps.

I just made these I will never buy rolls again this was the most easy and fail safe recipe I have found these turned out just like the video Hands up to your wonderful Grandma she had a great recipe.
Wonderful! Glad you like them as much as I do! 🙂
I just tried this and this came out so damn good! I love it, so does my boyfriend. Think I will be making this instead of buying bread! Lol
Glad they turned out well for you!
@@KenClick yes, thanks again for sharing this!
I live in Europe and I have oven where I can choose to bake with heat under and above or bake with fan. If I add the fan to under/above heat, the outcome is different. I don´t know how your oven is, so can you inform me about how to adjust my oven correctly
Asta Ola I don’t use the fan while baking these.
Asta, in the States we usually use the under heat. The above we call broiler and convection cooking is with the fan. Do not use convection for bread because it will crisp the crust too much. Hope this helps.
Thanks for sharing your grandma recipe she will be proud of you sir

Can i use regular active yeast. I dont have rapid rise. Also can they be done in a glass pan? Thank you so much. I got so excited about these, i bought a roast to go with them lol 😁
Yes to all... Just give the rolls enough time to rise. Enjoy!
I've now made these six times. I watch your video each time, as well as writing the recipe in my notebook. Perfect every time. They are a hit every time. Thank you, Mr. Ken Click!

Wonderful memories! 🙂
I made these rolls and they were good. I added my own touch to the rolls and they are wonderful. I don't knead it but 1 minute and that's all l do. Thanks. Lol.
