I made these today! You were definitely right. They are so easy and absolutely delicious. Thank you for sharing the recipe. Will definitely be making them on a regular basis. Blessings.
Can’t wait to try these. I’m a legend in my family for being a “roll failure”🤣. You make these in such a simple way, I think I could pull them off. Thanks 😊
Rachel you truly are amazing. Your spirit radiates with love and warmth. We're blessed to have you teach us these meals. Thank you for all your time and dedication and inspiring us all to make the most delicious meals Step by Step❤
I have been trying different recipes for yeast rolls for a few yrs. This is literally the best recipe and technique I have ever seen. WOW, I am definately trying this. Great job!
I love watching your videos! Yeast has always been my nemesis and I’ve been avoiding any recipe that calls for it, but Rachel, you give me confidence to try again. How my family would love these for our family dinners! Thank you for your easy, gentle way of explaining everything. Please think about creating a cookbook that we could purchase. I would love a collection of your favorite recipes.
You are so welcome! Warm humid temperature is what the dough wants, follow the steps and keep it warm so it can rise. Be sure to add the yeast to the warm milk mixture (not hot or cold just warm 100°- 110°) it is very easy and I know you can do it. Hug and love.❤
@@rachelcookswithlove I too. Although being a chef and a Baker, I have always been terrified of yeast and bread. I want make it so bad. You have given me the courage to try again! Thank you Rachel. ❤️😇
Hi Rachel, You kitcken is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing these fluffy dinner rolls. They look so yummy with melted butter. Thank you for explaining step by step. With Love ❤️ Bless. you & Ron. 🙏🏼🤗🙏🏼
Ever since my grandmother died (at the age of 109), I've been trying to step up and become the roll-maker for the family. I have finally found the way to do it -- thank you so much, Rachel. I'm so excited to try these. I am buying a dutch oven (I hope a 5 qt is the right size) and a baking dish right now! I love your new kitchen, btw, and thank you for being one of my favorite channels! I make your chicken salad ALL THE TIME.
Thank you so much for your comment my friend, any size dutch oven will do as long as it fits...you can do it, and I know they will be delicious. Blessings to you. ❤
❤Rachel you bake like me. I learened these techniques on my own, especially adding the flour a little bit at a time. I'm 75 years old but when I was still working I always took in an arrangement of cookies at Christmas time & got accused of burning them from a bakery, after one of the girls I worked with & was close to let them know that I used to be in the restaurant business a lot of them would ask me for my recipes which I was glad to share. One of them told me that hers turned out like rocks. I told her it was time to trouble shoot. As it turned out w hen it came time for the flour she dumped the whole thing in at once & on some of the cookies I started out on the BOTTOM shelf & changed to the middle half way through. That was with the chocolate chip. & I always used REAL BUTTER. There again I grew up farm & we used to make our own butter & it was delicious. I found real butter that tasted like ours suddenly the taste changed, I made the remark "I'm probably going to have to go out & buy the cow to make butter. Just about a month ago I found the taste of real butter again. It was a little pricey but was well worth it. Those little things make a BIG difference. I just enjoy listening to you talk while you are cooking. You cook with LOVE❤
I’ve made the mistake of watching this at 11:30pm and am now hungryyyy. 😩 They look so good! I agree with you, Rachel, that some turkey and gravy would be great with the buns but truly, my favorite is just fresh out of the oven with plenty of butter! Thanks for the simple recipe and video! God bless you for being such an encourager. 🌸
Wecome back girl.Your Texas kitchen is gorgeous which I know represents a ton of work. Those rolls are beautiful and obviously delicious. I plan on baking those at Thanksgiving with 1 trial run before that.just to see if I can do it. Thank you once again Rachel.😍
I am really enjoying your videos. Baking rolls is not something I do well so I am saving this to educate me the next time. Actually, I save a great many if your videos. Your presentations are so good--well organized, lovely kitchen interior/background, inclusion of recipe and more. Thank you so much!
I will be making these soon, they look delish! I discovered how to get dough to rise in a cold climate, I get out the heating pad and set it to low setting and put covered dough on top. Works great.
Lovely new house! Lovely you! Watch your videos always and have made several of your recipes. My Joe likes to watch you and pick what he wants for dinner from your recipes. Thanks so much! Blessings from East Texas!
I have always made my dinner rolls the way my mother taught me. "Knead the dough 10 minutes and 3 rises" I made these yesterday. They are great! Fluffier with the correct texture. Thanks for sharing!
Rachel, I am getting ready to bake my rolls. I used a glass measuring 4 cup. I don't have a Dutch oven and the 1st one I tried in a pan the yeast failed. Heating the oven now ready to bake and look wonderful. Your recipe is so easy. Thanks for sharing!
This recipe was so super fun and easy. Mine turned out so yummy. Thank goodness i found it because it will be my "go to" !! I had mine warm out of the oven with butter and honey.
Rachel, I haven’t made these yet, been afraid of yeast. I’ve made so many of your wonderful dishes. Your chili rellenos was such a big hit. I made 20 for a cooking class. I’ve made your carne guisada , pork chili verde w/ potato, pork carnitas, pork calabasita, beef enchiladas and so many others. I’m truly a fan and just love your presentation, step by step, ease of explanation and video showcase. I’ve never written anyone a review. I love your videos and look forward to new ones. Any Italian veal recipes in your future? Thank you, to you and your husband for a job well done!!! Carlota
Thank you so much for your sweet comment Carlota, I'm so happy to know that you enjoy my recipes. I don't have an Italian veal recipe, but will put them in my list. I appreciate your comment and support of my channel so much. ❤😊
Just made these. They look amazing! The only thing is that they don't have much flavor. I think I'll try adding more salt next time. Thanks for the recipe. 🙂
I didn't use salted butter the first time I made these! So, I've made these a bunch of times after fixing my mistake and they're absolutely amazing! Husband loves them. Getting ready to make another batch for Christmas Eve dinner. Thanks again for a very easy and delicious recipe. Merry Christmas!
Oh Rachel! These are AMAZING! I followed your recipe and instructions to the LETTER, and they came out just perfect! “Your Ron” and “my Chris” have very similar tastes.. and it gives me the same joy as I am sure you feel to cook for my wife. Thank you for all of your efforts, and your perfect delivery in your videos. ❤️
Wow, Rachel, those look beautiful and I'm sure taste fantastic! I will be making those for the holidays, with a test run very soon!!! Again, I love your 'straight to it' approach with each step shown and explained. Thank you for all the help you give to all your viewers. We're better cooks and bakers for it!!!
Looks great Rachel. I make a fridge roll. The dough rises in the fridge all night long. Then I continue just like you and finish and bake them. They have a little sweetness in them. Yum Yum!!!!
Anybody up rn?? Do you know if letting out roses in fridge would work?? Lol I have to run around all day tomorrow and then we’ll have our dinner tomorrow night. This w would be very helpful if I could whip them up now and put in fridge🤩 excited to try these❤❤
What a great idea to make your rolls in a Dutch oven. Those rolls turned out beautiful. I know they were delicious, I could almost taste them. I’m so,glad to have this recipe before Thanksgiving. God bless you and your Ron.
Hi Rachel. We live in the Rio Grande Valley. Its so very hot. I cant wait for a little cool front. Oh my goodness those look so delicious with coffee. Muchos abrazos y bendiciones.🥰♥️💞💞
Those look so good. Im going to try to make those for thanksgiving! I made your vegetable beef soup over the weekend and it was amazing. So glad you're moved and happy in Texas, Rachel. Hopefully you will inspire me more before the holidays 😊❤❤
Rachel I love you and especially your teaching. I always wish I had my kitchen counters cleared enough to make whatever it is that I just watched!! I wish all our children were living near us so we could have a large Sunday dinner and I could cook for them. I am sure they have a few memories but you do make me want to cook! 😊 I guess that’s the best compliment you can receive! I know they will taste wonderful. Thanks for your work! Love and blessings ❤
Love your recipes! My family is thankful that I have discovered your channel! I was a boring cook before but not anymore thanks to you and your teaching me how to cook and bake new recipes!❤
So happy to recently have found your channel! I've been mesmerized by your cooking and have binge watched your channel every evening lol. You do such an amazing job and make every dish look amazing! UA-cam videos has become a sort of comfort zone for me after losing my husband to cancer in 2018 when he was just 46 and I was 41. We have four children, 2 grown and my youngest girls are 11 & 7. I've always loved cooking and trying new recipes and watching channels such as yours has helped me more than you know. There was a time after losing him it was a struggle for me to cook or want to do much. But my babies gave me purpose and cooking is something we love doing together. Thank you for sharing your cooking. People like you probably don't realize how much of a comfort you are to people like me.❤️❤️
Aw! Thank you for sharing with me my friend, I'm so sorry you lost your husband. Your children are blessed to have you. One day at a time, and may our Good Lord comfort you and give you peace and may your hubby enjoy the beautiful streets of gold. Hugs and love .❤

I love your enthusiasm for what you are preparing ! Song with the calmness and joyful patience of explaining!! Looks so delicious, each recipe you share!!
I tried my hand making dinner rolls for the first time following your recipe. They came out so delicious and my family loved them! Thank you so much for all your recipes! I was able to follow your recipe step by step and like always, you make it so easy to understand. Thank you and many blessings to you.
The rolls look heavenly. It is rather interesting that you allow the instant yeast to bloom as that is not necessary with instant yeast, only when using dry active yeast. That is the beauty of instant yeast, you can skip steps but hey if it works for you, keep doing it that way.
I always feel safer watching it proof and rise, I just feel dumping it in the flour is a risk even though it probably isn't, I have punched it and let it rise again the 3rd time only to have the softest and most beautiful rolls...I do love that the dough is ready risen in as quick as 30 minutes though. ❤
I can almost smell them here in Polk County! You might want to be careful about using the garage in June though September, as it might start Baking the dough! 🤠🤠🤠 Back in the 80’s when Detroit was moving to Houston, I won several 20 dollar bets that I could bake a cake in the back seat of my old black Chevy. I would buy one of those instant Betty Crocker just add water cake kits that came with the cardboard cake pan and foil envelope of frosting and mix it up in front of them and put it in the car out in the blazing Texas Sun. I Won every time some Yankee made the bet with me! 😂It takes about an hour and 10 minutes but it bakes ok… Again, Welcome Home to Texas! Proud to have y’all back! Don’t forget that if you have any kin what ain’t naturalized, just take them to the Alamo, and have ‘‘em sing “The Eyes of Texas” out front 3 days in a row and they’ll be official Texsuns! 👍 Tip: If they’re shy, you can take them at about sunrise as nobody’s there except the security guards, and if they’re in need of some Liquid Courage, it’s just a short walk from the river walk, where you can get most any kind of alcohol a body could imagine. 😜
I’ve always wanted to make homemade rolls so now I can follow your recipe and make them. They look so good! My Grammy used to make us homemade bread and rolls. With lots of butter delicious. TFS Rachel. Still looking forward to videos in your new Texas kitchen👏🏻💕😊
I just love all your recipes they remind me of my mom's cooking! And I bet I'm way older than you!.😊 I'm a "good" cook but some people just have the love to add to their cooking.
OMG Rachel those rolls look mighty good. I have never made yeast rolls before I watched you. Now I think I can get my nerve up to meet them for Thanksgiving. Please pray for me. I hope mine turns out like yours did , we’ll see.❤
OMG hi Rachael, love all your videos. I’ve made some of your recipes 😊my family loved them. Rolls look so soft & delicious 😋 I can’t wait to try this recipe.Thank you 🙏🏻 for who you are and all that you do.❤God Bless.
Your roles are beautiful! What a nice rise. I’m definitely going to make these. 💕 Someone told me that if you turn your oven light on when you start to make your dough it will be about 80 degrees. Then your dough can rise in the oven. Thanks Rachel 💕💕
Hello again Rachel. I was looking forward to seeing you in Texas in your new kitchen which looks absolutely beautiful. Your soft, calm voice is pure encouragement for me to try this recipe. Love you & your delicious recipes. You're a great teacher. Happy cooking.

That is a beautiful looking dinner roll i will definitely try this recipe... you look great looks like you dropped alot of weight what ever your doing its working you look fantastic
I just made these and am on the second proof. I weighted them out at 2.4oz and it made 21. Not sure where I went wrong. I have been searching for a good recipe for dinner rolls. So glad I came across your video. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful new kitchen! I hope you and your family are happy and content in your Texas home~ One of the few benefits of living in Texas during the hot months is having a warm garage where you can let your dough rise. We used to do the same thing, covering the pan with a dish towel to help keep the warmth in (and any flies out) while they were rising. Great recipe for a deliciously comforting soft dinner roll!
Thank you for this simple recipe. It's even better that you use few bowls to cut down on the mess. Thank you for the simple demonstration. It all helped me here in Chino, California. ❤ & hand bump!
💗 You present WONDERFUL cooking videos . 💗 You are very well prepared and organized and your public speaking skills are terrific on top of your recipes being delicious and so easy to follow. The only improvement you could possibly make is to add the directions in with the typed ingredients list that you do provide us. But that won’t stop me from watching and typing them up myself 😂.

I am disabled so it took me a long time to get these mixed up and done. Matter of fact they ended up being dessert Haha if I had one I’d prob use one of those mixers or whatever. But I am a newbie cook and don’t yet have one so I just mixed it by hand Took Forever lol. These ended up sitting for almost two hours the first “setting” but they were still so SO GOOD!!
Thanks 😊
You can do it my friend, and I hope you enjoy. Thank you so much for your comment. ❤
Rachel you truly are amazing. Your spirit radiates with love and warmth. We're blessed to have you teach us these meals. Thank you for all your time and dedication and inspiring us all to make the most delicious meals Step by Step❤
My pleasure my friend, thank you so much for your comment. ❤️
South Central Texas here , love your videos and welcome to Texas. God bless you and all reading this
I have been trying different recipes for yeast rolls for a few yrs. This is literally the best recipe and technique I have ever seen. WOW, I am definately trying this. Great job!
Hi Rachel! Another delicious recipe...hot buttered rolls are the best! Hope you are loving your new place!
I agree about the butter my friend. We love it here in Texas. Hugs and love. ❤
I am exactly the same; yeast has never been my friend! But I’m going to try too😉
@@rachelcookswithlove I too.
With Love ❤️ Bless. you & Ron. 🙏🏼🤗🙏🏼
You are so welcome! I appreciate your comment my friend. ❤
Yay!!🎉. You’re back and in your new kitchen. Congratulations it’s beautiful and it’s great to have you back.❤
Thank you!!! We are so happy here my friend.
Thank you so much for your comment my friend. ❤
I love how your voice is the right tone and cadence. Your easy to listen too!
Wecome back girl.Your Texas kitchen is gorgeous which I know represents a ton of work. Those rolls are beautiful and obviously delicious. I plan on baking those at Thanksgiving with 1 trial run before that.just to see if I can do it. Thank you once again Rachel.😍
Thank you so much, I know you can do it, I know you will love them. Hugs and love. ❤

I just happened on your channel and your are so sweet and calm! I don't have good luck with yeast rolls but I'm going to try these. Thank you!!
I am really enjoying your videos. Baking rolls is not something I do well so I am saving this to educate me the next time. Actually, I save a great many if your videos. Your presentations are so good--well organized, lovely kitchen interior/background, inclusion of recipe and
more. Thank you so much!
You made my day, you can do it my friend, thank you so much for your comment. ❤
I will be making these soon, they look delish! I discovered how to get dough to rise in a cold climate, I get out the heating pad and set it to low setting and put covered dough on top. Works great.
TY Rachel for sharing your cooking gift with us! I’ve always struggled in the kitchen and you’re helping me so much! ❤❤❤
You can do it my my friend, take your time and get all your ingredients ready then everything will flow.❤️💯
Lovely new house! Lovely you! Watch your videos always and have made several of your recipes. My Joe likes to watch you and pick what he wants for dinner from your recipes. Thanks so much! Blessings from East Texas!
Awesome! Thank you! Blessings to you and your Joe.❤
I have always made my dinner rolls the way my mother taught me. "Knead the dough 10 minutes and 3 rises" I made these yesterday. They are great! Fluffier with the correct texture. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome my friend, so happy you enjoyed them.❤️
Rachel, I am getting ready to bake my rolls.
Yummy!!! That's how I love them too my friend. Thank you for sharing. ❤️
I have NEVER enjoyed watching anyone taste something as much as I do Rachel. I always giggled over how much she enjoys what she cooks. ❤❤

Looks really good, can you tell us more about your new kitchen
Rachel I love you and especially your teaching. I always wish I had my kitchen counters cleared enough to make whatever it is that I just watched!! I wish all our children were living near us so we could have a large Sunday dinner and I could cook for them. I am sure they have a few memories but you do make me want to cook! 😊 I guess that’s the best compliment you can receive! I know they will taste wonderful. Thanks for your work! Love and blessings ❤
Thank you so much Mrs. Rachel for the this recipe! I truly appreciate this!

Love your recipes! My family is thankful that I have discovered your channel! I was a boring cook before but not anymore thanks to you and your teaching me how to cook and bake new recipes!❤
You are so welcome! Hugs, and thank you for sharing that with me.❤️
So happy to recently have found your channel!

This takes me back to grandma’s bread rolls. A meal in themselves. Thanks Rachel.
They look so good Rachel. Thank you for sharing your recipes. 🙂❤️
You are so welcome!❤
The rolls look heavenly. It is rather interesting that you allow the instant yeast to bloom as that is not necessary with instant yeast, only when using dry active yeast. That is the beauty of instant yeast, you can skip steps but hey if it works for you, keep doing it that way.
I always feel safer watching it proof and rise, I just feel dumping it in the flour is a risk even though it probably isn't, I have punched it and let it rise again the 3rd time only to have the softest and most beautiful rolls...I do love that the dough is ready risen in as quick as 30 minutes though. ❤
Hi Rachel! It makes my day when you upload. ❤ I'm definitely making these this week😊
Yay! Thank you! I appreciate your sweetcwords my friend. ❤
Oh my goodness Rachel I love to watch you eat 😋 it makes my mouth water .

😂It takes about an hour and 10 minutes but it bakes ok…
Again, Welcome Home to Texas! Proud to have y’all back! Don’t forget that if you have any kin what ain’t naturalized, just take them to the Alamo, and have ‘‘em sing “The Eyes of Texas” out front 3 days in a row and they’ll be official Texsuns! 👍
Tip: If they’re shy, you can take them at about sunrise as nobody’s there except the security guards, and if they’re in need of some Liquid Courage, it’s just a short walk from the river walk, where you can get most any kind of alcohol a body could imagine. 😜
Thank you for your comment my friend! ❤🤩😅

One of the few benefits of living in Texas during the hot months is having a warm garage where you can let your dough rise. We used to do the same thing, covering the pan with a dish towel to help keep the warmth in (and any flies out) while they were rising.
Great recipe for a deliciously comforting soft dinner roll!
Thank you so much my friend, you're right about the weather here. My bread and rolls always rise si beautifully here. Blessings to you. ❤
Thank you for this simple recipe. It's even better that you use few bowls to cut down on the mess. Thank you for the simple demonstration. It all helped me here in Chino, California. ❤ & hand bump!

But I am a newbie cook and don’t yet have one so I just mixed it by hand Took Forever lol. These ended up sitting for almost two hours the first “setting” but they were still so SO GOOD!!
