P.S. make sure to let the dough rise a little longer than recommended (longer than an hour) it's worth the wait , they turn out even fluffier than in the video.

I made them for Thanksgiving and they turned our sense. They were about the consistency of soft pretzels. They were edible but definitely weren’t the soft dinner rolls I was hoping for. I did t cut any of the wait times short. Any idea where I might have gone wrong?
@@jvb0804 if you followed everything exact the only thing wrong is the rise and the proofing. Different houses have different temperature and humidity. Try a different time until it works out.
I did the no knead method by using my stand mixer ! I also used instant yeast instead of active yeast . I used two cups of Unbleached all purpose flour and two cups of bread flour added 1 1/2 tsp salt mixed real good then added 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast along with 1/4 c of sugar I put all into my stand mixer bowl .Then in a measuring cup added the 1 cup of milk 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup melted butter I microwaved it till warm (instant yeast can tolerate warmer liquids which I like .. less worry if it’s too warm) I poured in the milk mixture into the flour mixture then I beat one egg up in the measuring cup and poured into the milk mixture . I turned on the mixer that had the dough hook attachment on and let it mix up adding a little extra flour as needed till all the dough came away from the mixer bowl and formed a ball. I let it knead for about 5 min. I removed the dough and added about 2 tablespoons of oil to the bowl added back the dough flipping it till all of the dough had some oil on it then covered the bowl with plastic wrap and a towel on top . I placed into a slightly warmed oven and let rise for one hour. After one hour was up it had risen beautifully I punched it down real good and with dough in my hands I folded it over itself and formed it into a ball making sure all the air was out of it . I put it back into bowl and took a 9x13 baking dish and greased up real good with melted butter . I then pinched off dough and formed into rolls pulling dough into itself and placed into the baking dish . I brushed melted butter on top of the rolls covered with plastic and returned to the slightly warm oven for 50 minutes. After 50 minutes I took them out and removed the plastic wrap . Preheated oven to 375 degrees about 10 minutes. Then I put the rolls in the oven and baked about 15-25 minutes. They were the best rolls that I have ever made ! They were big and fluffy and soft and so yummy! Thanks so much for the recipe !Blessings!

Just one small tip. Do not incorporate the salt before you add the yeast. When the yeast gets in contact with salt it looses its properties. You should make a well in the center, dump the yeast mixture in and then sprinkle the salt around the edges. When mixing work your way from the inside out so the yeast gets in contact with salt as late as possible.

@@ミチェルジョジア - A deli is responsible for managing cold cuts and prepared foods. You're going left field on that. And if a grocery store has a bakery, the quality is normally not that great. You're not going to get these type of rolls in most grocery stores. They tend to carry bread that has additives to preserve the bread and just doesn't taste as good as natural ingredients.
Tried these dinner rolls. They were okay. I wish you would have said that egg wash makes top of dough hard. I would have just used butter. I’m a fairly new cook. The color from it was great though. I prefer a softer top dinner roll. I would add a little more sugar too. ( I should have made 1 batch instead of 2 first. - Doubling those ingredients and the extra time spent. ) It’ll be Parker House next time. 😳
I found that the bread baked a lot faster than in this video, and my rolls were quite a bit larger than yours. They browned very quickly and were lacking in flavour. I had to brush the top with butter and also sprinkle more salt on top. personally I like the flavour coming from the bread rather than adding additional salt but pretty good overall.

my husband and I had them tonight with our homemade beef stew yummy! and I subscribed to your channel thank you Sue 💕
You are precise. Like a surgeon in the kitchen. 🙏🏻👌🏻
I made these and they're super fluffy and delicious. They're a bit too firm the next day, but if you microwave them for 12 seconds or so they taste great
Tried the recipe last night . These rolls were so soft and fluffy 😭. My boyfriend ate the whole pan last night.
I made these tonight and my kids walked in the house drooling over the smell of fresh baked buns
So yummy
This is a lovely, easy and delicious recipe. I made it with instant yeast since that was all I had but it was still soft and delicious. Thank you for sharing :)
Her voice is so calming 😍😍
I have made this recipe for two years now. :) I have made it... probably 10 time, and they come out perfect every time. 😁 making them once again today for Thanksgiving!
Freshly backed bread just make you appreciate life in new ways every time ❤️
backed 🔥🔥
Freshly "backed" indeed.
Wow. I'm so grateful for that info on yeast. I had no idea. Maybe I'll be able to make some decent breads now.

My favorite dinner roll recipe:
Things u need: money. Communicating skills. A grocery store
1. Go to store
2. Buy dinner rolls
3. Go home
4. Eat
Best to go to a quality bakery. Grocery stores tend to have lower quality, unless they sell the local bakeries' rolls too.
@@islandbee my local grocery store has a deli........ Close enough..........I guess
And even then the communication skills aren't 100% necessary
That is because u are Ron
Wow! I and my grandchildren made these rolls and come out fantastic very soft and fluffy this recipe is just terrific I recommend trying this one, now thank you for this recipe.
