If you print from an inkjet printer then yes, you will need to seal. There are numerous different products that you can seal with but my personal favorite is the Rustoleum 2x gloss clear. If they aren't sealed then the ink will just come off when it hits the water.
Not a silly question at all. Critter Cup Customs recommends those measurements. If you take a string and wrap it around your pen then measure that string, it will show you the exact size that you need. Some artists have said to seal waterside after cutting out. What do you think? Any concern about the edges? Hope you haven't already answered. I try to read all comments first. 😀
LOL!!! I REALLY appreciate you reading the comments first but your question hasn't been asked yet. I always seal before cutting the image/wrap out. I have found that if I seal after cutting it out, it always makes the images kind of want to stick to the edges more and makes it harder to release. You could honestly do it both ways but I definitely prefer to seal before cutting.

Just click on the file and tell it to "release compound path" and it will ungroup the download 😊
@@KristisCustomCreations it does not give me that option. That’s the reason I am baffled.
I’ll try again tomorrow. Thank you so much for replying.
So once waterslide is applied you spray it?? 4 times? Then Epoxy?? I got confused with that.
You spray seal the waterslide before you apply it to the pen. If you don't seal it first, the ink will run in the water. I hope that answers your question.
What program do you use to edit and print?
I use my Silhouette program 🥰
They’re gorgeous. What’s your code. I want to buy some products

@@KristisCustomCreations thank you so much
@@missyroberts427 you're very welcome!
What size are our waterslides
They are 1.5" x 4.75" 😊
and if your wanting to add a name with vinyl how would you do that?
You would probably need to put a light coat of epoxy over the waterslide before adding vinyl or else you risk tearing your waterslide.
Someone from Blinggasm is going to reach out to you!! 🙂
Sounds great!
What printer are you using?
I use an HP Envy 7155 but you don't have to have a fancy printer for it.. just something that prints decently. Here's a link to the one I bought: amzn.to/3bPeEFk
What program do you use?
I use the Silhouette program 😊
Thanks

Awesome thank you so much can't wait
@@divadane you're very welcome!
I went and bought several water slides but I’m confused..
So there are like three on a sheet. How do we put different images on one page like you do?
I just copy and paste (or upload) all the images onto one page, make sure they are the correct size, then fit as many on one page as I can, then print :)
Are your pens with just glitter already or glitter and epoxy?
Glitter then epoxied until smooth 😊
How do we join your facebook? There is no join button
I just checked, you have already joined it a week ago 😉🥰
I did not catch the coupon code 20% for kelli's shop on etsy
It's KCC20 🥰 www.etsy.com/shop/CritterCupCustoms
I purchased many of those pen waterslide digital files and I cannot get them to separate to individually size them, example I got the donut file and it has to rectangles with two different donut designs. when I upload it DS chose complex and it is one big square, I can't ungroup them in order to size each rectangle. Did I upload it wrong?
h shoot I just realized you have sillohuette. dang it. I don't know what to do. seriously purchased like 15-17 pen water slides and can't get them to be individual
I messaged Kari from Critter Cup and she totally just sent me all the field I bought individually. She’s awesome!!
Oh good! Sorry it took so long for me to reply, I've had some stuff going on in personal life. I'm so glad that Kari was able to help you out, she's awesome!
