Wow. I got my first one in 1977 and it lasted 20 years (warranty was 20 years back then). I got my 2nd 14 cup w/six disks and it still runs like a champ (and quieter). Sometimes it’s okay if a product doesn’t do EVERYTHING. 😊

WoW!! What a tense, nerve-racking demo. I expected to see blood at any moment. They should never have released this faux pas!!!

That's all I wanted to see demonstrated, the spiralizer.
It messes up, they don't fix or demonstrate and then move on to another something else.

the old one is made in Japan and made of ultra high quality material and workmanship is impeccable by Japanese workers. where is the new "upgrade" version made and what quality controls does it have in place?

I just bought a less expensive spiralizer that did the same thing - this was disappointing since I had hoped this was what I need for spiralizing my veggies

this whole unit is a failed attempt to throw every gizmo in it. many are complaining that the dicer doesnt work right and that it mushes everything. it makes sense since it should be dicing first then slicing, like on the kitchenaid 13 cup.

Eduardo Villagomez-Morales I bought mine yesterday at Costco, I didn’t open it yet , I’ve been looking at UA-cam since yesterday to see what should I use it for,I still can’t decide.

@@cuteanimallover4307 We bought ours last week at Costco. Tried it out yesterday. We were going to use the slicing blade to do onions for onion soup. At first, we couldn't get it to start. Read ALL the instructions and thought we had it assembled correctly. What the instructions didn't mention was a little lock button on the top back. After many tries we found that. The slicer did a pretty good job, at least for onion soup. If I wanted to display the slices for some reason, I would have had to remove a number of chunks that didn't get sliced. I will be trying in again tonight for grating my cheese for mac and cheese. This is a favorite at our house and I'm not thrilled with grating by hand.
We may have gone overboard with this. My daughter wanted this one because of the two bowls, the storage case (which actually is wonderful) and all the options. I will probably only use it for larger jobs. I have a great little mandolin that works for smaller amounts and is a lot easier to clean. On the other hand, this may encourage me to get interested in cooking again. After 60 years, I've lost interest.
I didn't see the actual price on this video but if I calculated right it would be $229.98 with 6 payments of $28.33. We got on sale at COSTCO for $109.99. Ours doesn't have a spiralizer but we have a smallish one and I'm not really impressed with the spiral vegetables anyway. I will be coming back to see other reviews.

What a nerve-wracking demo. And the machine was attempting to skip away on the counter top at one point in time. Goodness. Is it the product or the user 🤔. I was so worried about shredded fingers throughout the video. Anyone bought this? Is it as messed up in reality
