Thank you for [helping others by] comparing the openings of the feed tube-! A large size feed tube should be a make-or-break for any food processor purchase - otherwise you waste too much time *processing the food for the food processor-!* Unfortunately, as manufacturers continue to cheapen their food processors, _especially_ KitchenAid - yes, I'm talking to you - by replacing direct drive motors with 'tiny' motors and a sea of cheap gears - the result is Cuisinart's Elemental line, and the current crop of models from KitchenAid - with only the 13-cup having a feed tube that's [reasonably] useful. Enjoy your Cuisinart Custom 14 and the Breville Sous Chef & Paradice food processors.
Thank you. A food processor should be able to slice tomatoes (or potatoes or zucchini) that don't have to be cut up first to fit a skinny feed tube. So as you said, you have to do a bunch of work just to make it fit. Besides, we want pretty slices, otherwise, why would you break out a food processor?
id love to see this cuisinart demonstrated if you have the time. its amazing and so quiet! I cant stand things that are loud. Ill get rid of them every time! thank you for this information!
This is best review I’ve been able to find that compares at least three lines of cuisinarts - Elem😂Neal, Pre and Custom. I’ve been looking for a comparison to differentiate between the models and up until now could not find one. Can you please explain the difference between the older vintage models like Pro, Custom, Japanese models listed on EBay? I was looking to buy a vintage/older model cuisinart for my vintage 14 cup as a back-up. I decided instead to go with a brand new 50th Anniversary model - any comments on the worthiness of that model?

I got the Breville dice and peel over the Cuisnart because it came with all the disc and dicing blades. Thanks for the review.
I love the options on the Breville. It comes with a lot of accessories in the box. It is my favorite food processor! Thanks for watching!

Yay!
I have the discontinued Cuisinart 14 cup Elite 2.0. That thing is a beast! I’ve had it 20+ years. Fortunately you can still buy accessories for it.

Thanks, Debbie!
So, the dlc 7 discs are compatible with the custom 14 or dlc 10?
The dlc-7 discs fit the 14 cup only.

Thanks! I really appreciate it! If I manage to come across an older model that is in good shape, I will definitely do a video! Thanks for watching!
Some Cuisinart food processors were made by Robot Coupe.😮
I love my Cusinart 14 , dependable , I have extra blades !!
The Elemental has been discontinued. It'd make me nervous buying a model that is no longer supported.
Yeah, the Elemental has been discontinued. It did not have enough power. I have the 9 cup and also one of the larger ones.
