Well done especially the end of the video with your conclusion...I've been struggling on which Flash to get but with your end conclusions you sold me on the AD400 pro. Thank you
Thank you Godox for making professional photography affordable and fun again! Thank you!
Product review at next level. Reading between the lines, really like the useful tips that you shared during the review.
I like your style of explaining things so that it is easy to understand and follow. Great channel! Subscribed!

I was looking for information about the Godox AD400 and I found your channel . It’s amazing! Thank you for your video!
Really amazing how you develop it!

Dude turned Night into Day.. Mind Freaking Blown and subscribed! holy heck man. i'm about to purchase my first flash set up and so happy came across your page!
Nice sir......ur videos are always awesome.....the video quality which you provide attracts the youtube surfers .......one day i was too attracted........and now i am on of pixelvillage's biggest fan.....
Awesome review and BTS. By the way, there’s no need to use a different reflector or bulb protector. The AD400’s stock reflector still fits with the Bowen’s mount attached - you just have to twist off the back piece of the reflector and then it will fit without any problems. Rob Hall has an update video about the same issue.
Yeah the manual isn't very good about explaining this - I could tell it was two pieces but I was afraid of breaking it. You really just have to pull hard and it pops apart.
What an amazing tutorial. It really helped me to learn how to use flash properly.
Thank you, Pixel village!!
You’re very knowledgeable, very easy to understand, thank you for your work.
Really great reviews, been watching a few of your videos!

Your presentation is simply superb. Very clear and to-the-point review. The AD200 probably is the best value for money! It would be great if you could you make a video on the essential gears for beginners who wants to set up a studio.

Great video as always, Sir. Please increase the frequency of the videos. You are an island of professionalism! 🇮🇱
🙏🙏🙏
good work!
TTL/flash not much use when shooting HSS. Shoot manual, which is really what you ended up doing anyway. It’s all about trial and error and building your shot. Great video.
Why does TTL not work with HSS? Because cannot compute how much of the HSS flash power will be outside of the timespan that the sensor will actually receive (flash) light?
Truly impressive
Thank you for the excellent review! I have 2 questions: 1.- In the indoor shots how do you manage to balance the available light with the flash light? Do you use a CTO gel? 2.-I noticed you have a built-in camera flash open in the shots. Do you fire it as well for fill? What camera were you using? Nikon D750?
sir please also make video over your shooting setup... like mic, camera, tripod, light...all the stuff you use to shoot these videos...that will be very helpful ❤
I am very much like ur all videos sir.. i need to know which is best speedlite flash with HSS .. pls give a video for that..
Amazing, Can you make a video about the photography where artificial light can be used as natural light in frame (16:12) in detail. using two or even a single flash.
Amazing video! what are you recommending for begginer studio for single person portrait? What modifiers and flash? Thank you!
RARELY where i keep listening to an Indian English speaking person! but you sir got me to listen! your production got me to sub and I'll keep watching.
You made our day 🙏🙏🙏
Cool video
അണ്ണാ.. ഫിലിം കണ്ടു. 👍👍👌👌✌️✌️
Hi RK sir. Could you pls make a video on how to buy a DSLR(pros and cons) for beginners. I am an avid fan of ur channel and don't miss even a single vid published....and I don't even have the minimum knowledge of photography. 😀...A gripping channel with very well structured content...Thanks a lot Sir.
Fantastic sir tnx a lot
sir can you do a video on settings on trigger/speedlite about hss, curtain sync...handling multiple flashes using one tigger! ???
sir please make a video on food & product photography with explanation of how different angels, focal lengths & flash/light equipments affect the photograph... it will be very helpful ❤
Totally stunned
Loved what you all did with the indoor shots! Amazing! Would I be able to replicate th at work a couple of Canon 600exrt speedlites?
True. It's eminently possible. 👍
Hi and thank you so much for the video and all stuff you've explained . I am having a bit of trouble with the ad400pro. I've got 120cm deep para, but i am really worried that the bowens adapter will snapp under the weight of it. Do you know if there are any bracket options to mount the deep para to c-stand rather then leaving the ad400pro to carry all the weight ?
Hello and thanks for your great review. Is there an A/C adapter for this light for studio use, or better yet can you charge the battery and use the light at the same time?
Thank u sir as u said it's a neutral view of point
Dear Sir.. I really like the insights given by your channel and would like to pursue photography as a profession rather than just a hobby and would like to learn more. Kindly suggest how to proceed for the same.
Very nice video. I am very interested in getting the AD400. My only criticism on the video is when you are making test exposures to get your flash setting correct which is depleting the battery. You should be using a flash meter. It is an invaluable tool if you are using flash. Properly used, it takes the guesswork and wasted shots trying to adjust the flash power for proper exposure.
Regular light meter don't work on hss. It will cost you almost $1000 to get a hss compatible light meter
This is a lovely and productive as always. You r my mentor Sir . One thing i just wanted to know why did you used in built flash with the trigger to shoot . ?
😅 It accidentally came on! Didn't fire though!
Great review sir.. thank you. Can you please tell me the name of the camera backpack ? It looks great and big enough for flash and zoom pro lens. Thanks..
ThinkTank 40L.
Beast Ad400 pro 🥰
Awesome review as usual. May I know which boom stand you used for ad400. I thought boom stand is not sturdy enough to hold the 400.
Please do an episode on sensor and lens cleaning.
great review, also at 14:16 you forgot as well with flash, you are giving a consistent, and Constant white balance to the scene, in mixed lighting, normal ES bulbs, fleuro lights, tungsten, etc. they all show different colour casts, FLASH on the other hand is a plain xenon bulb, so only ONE light source, so one wb, consistent colours and mood to the shot.
Great review. Curious about the bag you are using. Looks pretty spacious and useful. Sir can you let me know the model
Yes it is. Been using this for the past 4 years. It's from MindShift - Freeflight 40L. Now called Think Tank. Cheers... 🙏
I am thinking about getting this strobe based on your excellent tutorial. Is this strobe compatible with the Sekonic light meters?
Was curious to know why did you have to fire the AD200 from out side the window. was your intention to create a rim light on her hair or change the lighting dynamics of the room. Thanks in Advance.
I don’t think I need to see anything else after watching this!
Do you have a video on using HSS feature? When do you use it and how to optimize the best output of your flash/strobe.
Unfortunately, I don't have a special video dedicated to HSS! Sorry.
ATG suggests if you are an events /or weddings photographer, try the ATG Gold X10 Kim V or lesser model version, the Nissin MG10 Set.
These two have the flexibility of doing videos/photos with radio 24-200mm zoom.
They are able to use three battery type sources.
Good luck putting this or AD200 on your camera. They both need a transmitter.
ATG/Nissin come with one of the best transmitter that are easy to use.
ATG is over $2,000.00
Niss is $700.00
