Thanks man, I really love the new grill guard, gives the tractor a whole new look I dig it. I’m stoked for the new garage also it can’t come soon enough! Hopefully soon I’ll be able to give you guys an update on it, stay safe!
Thanks buddy, Greatly appreciate the comment as always! Hope your doing well, I'm excited to get back out there on the tractor this spring... Been chomping on the bit. If the yard is dry enough today I'm gonna make a new video. Stay safe!
@@BiffsEquipment Yeah can’t wait. Did you get a chance to check out my video on what I did with my manual plow ? I have a plow modification video up, not your average hydraulic angle. Let me know what you think.
Nice work always super professional . I just used your video on adjusting the speed of the tractor on the hydro pedals . I had the nut fall of on the linkage, which you showed to check on that video you made, so thanks for helping me out with your videos. God bless brother 🙏
Sure thing man! I’m really glad you were able to go back and reference one of my older videos to help fix your tractor, that makes me really happy that my videos are being used that way as I love to help people. I’m glad you got it all figured out and she’s back up and running again! Stay safe and god bless!!
Another expertly presented install. Keep up the good work. If you run out of room to install "toys" on your tractor, I'll bring mine over, and you can install some on mine. 😉
Thanks Ron! Haha sounds like a plan buddy, I’m starting to run out of upgrades to do but still have a few more plans up my sleeve for the future! Hope your doing well!
Thanks Jason, I’m really happy with the way the grill guard looks as well.. adds a bit more Character to the old BX and gives it a different look for a change. Hope to be able to get back out there and use it soon!
Another nice instructional video. Curious to see if you’ll have some 4 function loader attachment in the offing. And why don’t you have like 20k subs by now?
Thanks buddy! I’m def excited to use it once the weather warms up! As for the lower sub count, it’s prolly my own fault for not uploading videos often enough and for being inconsistent when I do but at certain times of year it can be tough for me to stay consistent but this summer I hope to get back to at least 1 video per week again. Thanks for your support, hopefully we will be able to test this new manifold out soon!
Thanks buddy glad your enjoying them! My shed is roughly an 18x16.. it did a great Job for many years for me.. when I first brought it up here I had tons of space.. but slowly over time it’s gotten very congested with all the tools and equipment Iv picked up over the years. If you Google “Kubota BX Winch mod” you’ll find the video where I added my winch.. if you watch that video you’ll see just how much more space I use to have in my shed since i made that video when I first started my channel.. it’s amazing how much more space I use to have in there! Haha
@@BiffsEquipment thanks for replying! Last summer I picked up a Massey Ferguson GC2400 to do work on my acreage and am looking at getting a 12x20 shed built to store it in
@@smokeyacres329 nice man! That’s a good machine, you’ll love it I’m sure! Just make sure you have enough width to get around the tractor easily if you plan on working on it inside. I would think 20’ long would be ok as you’ll have to make sure you have room from end to end with the loader on and possibly an attachment. Maybe measure the fully length just to be sure and keep in mind if you have any work benches in there they will take up 3-5’ width off the wall. Sounds like you have a great plan to keep it nice and dry, keeping w tractor inside is the best thing you can do, def keeps it from rusting or fading too. Best of luck!
Yep you are correct Shawn, they aren’t really “special” fittings but the size they use being 1/4” is a little more un-common than what normally comes on the end of these. In any event it’s an easy work around once you know what you need 👍🏻
I browsed the comments and see the reason for the splitter being on the tractor side. But is there a benefit to the artillian grapple system Rather than any other grapple that doesn't have a removable frame?
Yes the splitter itself is so you can run their dual grapple. Or any dual hydraulic cylinders that you want to have functioned off the same valve.. it allows for more than one cylinder at a time to be functioned by the same valve.. mainly used for grapples though. The Artillian is nice especially if you don’t own pallet forks already.. because you can easily go from your pallet forks to your grapple, to even their stump bucket in a matter of minutes.. all on one system.. it’s also easier to store because you only have 1 frame for all those attachments. Artillian also makes QUALITY products which I could recommend them on that alone.. and I don’t just say that cuz I own one.. they have grease fittings where they should and use proper hardened steel so it’s not gonna bend. I have beat the crap out of my Artillian products especially my stump buckets and grapples and have yet to have a single issue. Other company’s the tines on their grapples and the teeth on their buckets can bend. Lastly I’ll say that Artillian is very weight cautious so you can run their products on a smaller machine and not feel tippy. Their grapple for the size it is and for the size of objects you can pick up is one of if not the lightest out there in its class.. other clam shell grapples are simular in weight or even lighter but their tines bend easily and you can’t grapple nearly as big of objects as you can with the Artillian grapple. Hope this helps!
@@BiffsEquipment thanks, I hope u guys are as well. You are definitely a natural at this . I truly believe u should have been a teacher of how 2 videos or for companies teaching their employees. @@toddcaskey9984 hey thanks Todd that means a lot buddy! I’m glad to hear from you guys that you like my style of How-To videos and teaching style. I think a lot of it comes from me being OCD too as it would bother me to leave out any information during an install because I know from experience that it’s usually that ONE small piece of info that somebody will leave out in their instructions that makes you second guess the entire job or gets you lost and hung up.. I do not want this to happen to people watching my videos tho sometimes Iv felt I over explain things but I’d rather give too much info than not enough. Install/How-To videos are def the hardest ones to do, much harder than my typical tractor work videos but it’s well worth all the extra effort when I see and read comments like this that my videos are actually helping people so thanks man. Hope all is well and hopefully things dry up soon so we can get back out on our tractors here!
Hey Robert, I own a 2013 BX2370 but I have installed a newer loader to it from a BX23S.. so it’s a 70 series tractor with an 80 series loader. Your 1880 is a nice machine, they can sure get a ton of work done and have more similarities than differences to my tractor which is a good thing!
Not sure on the flow specs tho I’m positive this will not impede flow by much.. the big thing here is that it maintains the pressure as grapples and cylinders need to have proper pressure more than they need the flow.. the only way I’d be worried about splitting the flow with is if I was running two separate hydraulic motors off the front which you’d never really have a reason to do that to begin with.. if I run something like a hydraulic auger off the front then I’ll only be using 2 out of the 4 ports.. thus hydraulic flow will not be impeded. Hope this helps clear that up a little. Thanks for watching!
“xenphonni” is correct, I replaced my single port coupler setup for this Artillian Dual Port manifold to be able to run 2 grapples on the front of my loader instead of only just one. I hope to do that video as soon as things start to warm/dry up so we can give it a proper testing!
I guess I'm missing something. Just trying to understand. You already had hydraulics to run a grapple and you can only run one at a time. What am I missing here? Not being a smart ass, just that you lost me on this one.
