I speak from experience, there were many things I embraced as part of who I was before that now looking back I'm so sad for that person I used to be and it's hard for me to believe that's where I was mentally.
yeah, sometimes the full makeup or extravagant costumes is a hide. you'll probably get jumped on for even suggesting that could be a thing. but i've heard people say stuff like this before - though they didn't realize for a long time. others sorta knew right off because it felt like a mask they could be safe behind, or feel not boring. others i think really just like the looks and that's all it is. or a creativity challenge.

Jules may have a tough go at adult life & quite possibly, a very lonely one too as this could be just another form of body dysmorphia. Maybe the career for Jules will be found in the movie "biz," bc there's definitely a creative mind behind that scary look.
