i've lived on kootenay lake for 70 years and last year and this year are the first to have no snow on christmas day. as a kid we had snow at the latest by the beginning of december and a couple of feet at least by christmas. 70 years is less than a blink of the eye in nature's time line.
And in my own personal opinion,And our interesting, super natural and scenic Pacific Northwest's Canadian/Royal Canadian major city called our Vancouver,British Columbia and its " Lower Mainland " regional districts is/are indeed experiencing record balmy, calm and warm weather for quite a long period of time caused by our planet earth's global warming or climate change/changes.
The warm winter being experienced in British Columbia this year is primarily influenced by an ongoing El Niño event that leads to milder temperatures; coastal weather effects that moderate temperature extremes; moisture-rich atmospheric rivers like the Pineapple Express; localized geographic influences; and broader climate change trends that are altering seasonal weather patterns. Why do you think it's Kilauea?

It's called a climate crisis, people just seem to want to ignore it!

Wait half an hour
Green Party would have known how to solve this AND grow green $20s for our Econ
It's an odd conundrum, the more tech the weather people get, the WORSE the forcasting!

Happens from time to time , nothing new.
