Just a thought. I bought a small harely rv trailer and it's living space is 6x6 compact. It has a built in 2 burner stove. I didn't want my living space to smell like food. So I purchased a over head louver fan to suck up the smoke from an RV order book. It was really small and fit perfectly. Before installing the louver I took a door knob hole saw that fits on a drill and bored a hole through the wall to the out side. Shot foam in to it and lined it with thin sheet metal. I made a ring that fit perfect in the hole. And here's the cool part. I went to a marine supple store and bought a stainless exhaust louver that's high polished and will never rust. Attached it over the hole on the outsider hole facing down. Looks custom and intentional. I installed the inside fan louver and you can't see the hole from the inside and outside. Took no time at all. Now when I cook all the smoke leaves the trailer and I have a great smelling RV. Total space it took up is 14 inches.
I have seen many, many van build/tours and this one just floored me (looking thru the most recent comments and I see others who feel the same). I currently travel in a Nissan NV200 a little too small but great for pulling over in rest areas and getting some sleep. I particularly like your message. I am fearless and have been doing solo adventures for many years but I encounter people who live their life in fear everyday. I am the last person these individuals need to be around since I take my lack of fear for granted. It is so great that you are helping people find themselves. I will be checking out your webpage to maybe learn how I can be more supportive.
Wire cabinet organizers would help increase your storage without weight. It would give you increased number of shelves inside the cabinets, so you can keep things visible without just digging. Rubbery shelf liner helps with rattles. Free coozies can also cut down on rattles.
Very good!! I prefer a twin size mattress. Been sleeping on a twin size all my life and I like it. A twin size mattress also leaves more room. I would probably use that extra room to build out the kitchen cabinets and extend the bench. I would also put backing on the bench and give it cushions to make it more comfortable. You have a very nice build.
Awesome rig, i never thought of a ambulance for the van life, i live in my 01 express conversion van, im a mechanic and i just spent 2 months and $2000.00 worth of parts in it and i supplied all the labor, didnt have to take it to a shop, very nice, thanks for sharing, i need an upgrade so this gives me more choices!
Could you make the cupboard near the bed that you don’t like, maybe you could convert the 3 shelves into 3 draws. I love ambulance builds. Best of luck. May you find your bliss.
I really like this built . It just looks solid and will go the distance before rattling becomes a problem. I travel fulltime in a Ram Promaster High Roof and it serves me really well, but I must admit that I'm jealous of this RV.
Thanks for the tour Tisha. Looks like a super durable home. Love the simplicity of everything, and the completeness of filling the needs. Don't know if you did the build or had it done or some of both, but it looks like excellent craftsmanship and design from this angle. I liked the several dual access compartments a lot. As a 37 year Commercial pilot, who also enjoys the history of aviation, the ceiling might be my favorite part too. May every day bring you the Joy of chocolate, the peace of a campfire, the adventure and delight of your first kiss, and a closer relationship to the true God Jehovah who created your favorite desert. Well done THT.
Thanks for the tour! BTW: For those of us who are curious, Tisha has a page on her website that describes the beautiful rig very well. (My Adventure Van / Meet Ramble is the page.)
my dream camper setup is 21 ft long or less so it can fit in a1 parking spot. has a chest style fridge freezer setup for efficiency so I can install convection oven and not have to worry about battery. the fridge is by far the most energy draining part of any rv has a water filtering and recycling system so you can really boondocks without worrying about running out of water. (some earthcruisers have this. desk setup so I can work online anywhere.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful build and life lesson with us. My only concern is the " Pee hose , problem solved " ? You were referring to city camping when speaking of the pee hose , which might not be that bad in places that get lots of rain , but in a dry climate, it will just collect under the van and even if evaporated will leave a stench. How about a jug that you can later carry into a bathroom or drain into bushes ? You were referring to city camping when speaking of the pee hose , which might not be that bad in places that get lots of rain , but in a dry climate, it will just collect under the van and even if evaporated will leave a stench. Thanks again.
I wanna do this so bad its my biggest dream. Im starting to do it within the next couple weeks but in my small suv. I did it for 3 months through the winter in PA 2020 during pandemic after losing everything but now im doing it here soon full time. But its so freaking lonely its unreal. It would be so awesome to find that right person to do it with
Hi , thanks for the tour , nice compact rig = good to get into remote places. I'm not afraid so i did it , livin in my truck full time @ 1year and thriving. I installed the froli sleep system for my bed lots of comfort and ventilation for the mattress . I hope it is helpful info. Will you be at overland expo in Flagstaff AZ 2021 ? ~peace~
Freedom, Glad you have found it. Being on your own, traveling, and experiencing life on your own terms. Many seek, Few have the courage and confidence to do it. Hats off to you. I would travel but stay at KOA's in cabins or carry a tent to camp. I love to take pictures, see the landscape of the America's. Take care. 10/8/2021
this is a cool idea you can travel anywhere stay for a while get a part time or even full time job in whatever area until you move on to the next place I'm really liking the idea of it the freedom of it yet it's not without its challenges and draw backs but i like it
I love that her rig is simply built out but has everything she needs....and I REALLY love that she's put that question, "out there"....."What would you do if you weren't afraid?". Thanks for sharing.
Ok hands down out of the thousands of builds I’ve seen and I have seen just about every type of build you can find and this is. Y far my favorite and what I would say the perfect van build. You hit all the musts, 4x4, simple and clean but still having everything you need. Looks and I imagine feels very spacious, If your ever looking to sell this one let me know I would be a immediate motivated buyer.
Absolutely loved the area you filmed in💚 The build inside was great but not my style.I do love how that van is all terrain with meaty large block tread tires!💥 Tisha has a wonderful free spirit and I'm glad she discovered it. And what a business woman too. I would love to incorporate that saying on the back of my camper🔥 Great videography as always💯😃👍🏜 How's your bus doing?🙌🙋
Love your build! The color and the simplicity of it really works. Would love to have your design but would need an indoor shower (wet bath). The mantra on the outside is a great question: "What would you do if you were not afraid?" Yeap!!! Super question.
Great vlog showing your traveling home! I lived in Farmington, NM for 7 years and really enjoyed visiting the Four Corners in my VW Van bus. The San Juan mountains were my favorite places to go. Thanks for the tour!
maybe I missed something, but you have that little portable toilet, so why did you need the pee hose? Nice looking van, open and airy. I'd probably replace the egg crate with a memory foam mattress topper (you could easily cut this to fit your mattress). Those memory foam toppers are really comfy. If your blue cushions are memory foam, then they are probably doing the job. I've just always found that the eggcrate just squishes away to nothing, doesn't do much.
Pretty interesting van build. I don't think this was ever an ambulance just a box truck. I think there are things that don't really seem as they appear. I see nothing nefarious here just maybe something not said. She has storage for all her adventure gear, where is it? Probably in storage or at a friends place. So when she needs stuff she is close to this place and she loads it. She has roots and is probably less nomadic than it appears. (this is not a bad thing) This small of a build has limitations.
I love this build. It’s simple, clean , spacious and no clutter 😊
Love Tisha's catch phrase, "what would you do if you weren't afraid?"
@Jen maybe you don't need too much money to start.....always vehicles people are wanting to sell off.
I am 77 and traveling the United States in a small motorhome, I am not afraid.
This is the most minimalist inside of a van I’ve ever seen. I like it.
One of the nicest van life vehicles I’ve seen so far 😊
I like how the earth tones in the interior mirror the outside landscape.
I like it. Doesn't look so closed in and cramped like most do. It's simple but has all the necessary items. Good job.
I love the simplicity of your build, it really equates well with the ruggedness of your rig. Safe travels.
One of the better videos in this series of Tiny Home Tours. Not laden down with unnecessary details. Nice one 😊👍
indeed, some of the other channel videos showed people with way too much cash and time, and little spirit
@@billjoe39 Totally agree with you. She is a truly free spirit.
@Baba Ganush Few of us ever find that space. She deserves it.
I love learning how people are integrating their work and passions with van life. Thanks for sharing your version of this!
I really like how she made use of all of those outside doors on the ambulance.
I love that you opened up the living space to the driving space. No having to go outside to get in and drive.
Love the van for all the same reasons others mentioned obvs and Tisha is amazing heartwarming and real. Thanks for sharing your space and your work.

What a sweet van Tisha, love it, stay safe girl!
Very compact. Well done. Keep towels and soft stuff up high and rattly stuff down low.
I never realized how big ambulances were until I saw another video like this. Then passed one today, and man! they are huge!!
Great rig, thank you for sharing ,i am working on my 1974 p 20 stepvan ,hope to beon the road soon.

OH MYGOD...............That ceiling is fantastic................
One of the nicest van!

One of the best - a life seeker.
Flight and dreaming are synonymous.
Up!
Nice! Simple! Secure-looking! Uncluttered! 👍🏼
Could you make the cupboard near the bed that you don’t like, maybe you could convert the 3 shelves into 3 draws. I love ambulance builds. Best of luck. May you find your bliss.
or maybe you could make or buy some throw pillows to store inside the shelves when you are traveling to stop things from rattling around.
Nice! Glad you did it! BE safe! Thanks!

Hugh Praether…….my favorite. A young woman gave me a copy when she was a student in my sophomore English class! 💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks for the tour!
BTW: For those of us who are curious, Tisha has a page on her website that describes the beautiful rig very well.

Nice lay out. The ceiling is very cool. I also like the way you think.....

Simple and easy. Looks very well thought out. Great job!
Love her box van set up!
Nice build. Simple but functional.
This is a beautiful van & design!!
Love your statement- the question. What would you do if you weren't afraid? WOW,amazing.👍👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰
Outstanding van
Cozy and practical, I love it!
nice... I travel in an 07 15 passenger shuttle bus that I custom built to carry all my sign making equipment and supplies...
Wicked build love what she did ,great life choice.
Beautiful build. A lot of good ideas.

Thank you!
Love the simplicity of your van 💙
Thank you for showing me your home on wheels… you have all you need…. Good luck on your travels
Great rig, awesome woman. Really like her perspective. And not afraid to pee in the bushes.
This has been very inspiring to me
An ambulance is totally the way to go! So rad!
Love u elsa rhae and barron and cute little kamp 🐕 ❤️ from Tamilnadu,India 🇮🇳
Looks like a utility truck. Box door on the street side is a dead giveaway.
I wonder if anyone living in an ambulance build out encountered any spirits of people that died on the way to the hospital.
@@eckankar7756 or the thanks of people it saved
That is not an ambulance, it's a utility truck box. Ambulance usually have rear double-doors to accommodate a gurney.
Your favorite is my favorite! The aviation theme overhead panels!

Very Nice Layout & Overall Vehicle! Thanks
She is a straightforward person. This is the impression I get.
Love that question. It applies to many aspects of life. Great design, BTW.

@Jim any scary Sasquatch encounters in those mtns?
Get small baskets to go into the cabinet to put the dishes in you can pack them tightly
Great build!! 👍
Beautiful both Van & Girl. Gd luck & stay safe.
Hi Tish, I just found you. My daughters name is Tisha too, we don't hear that very often.
Simple and functional.
How I wish I could have your adventurous life. Way to go Ms.
I’m impressed ! You’ve done a great job ! Looks cozy
Great video! Behind the cab seat, was there a wall there that you had cut out during your conversation?
Stay safe and at peace!! 😊😊
Loved your vlog. Thank you. Lovvvvve your rig.
Much Respect.
That looks really nice did a great job on all the space
Useful build and very cozy!👍
Looks great Trish!
Keep your dishes in baskets and separate them by drawer liners. Should eliminate the rattle greatly. Love your build!

Nice rig. Kool ceiling. I could travel with her. Well done pretty lady!
Such a cool lady! Nice build! 👍🏻❤️
